What you are about to read is true. I brought my truck in for collision repairs and left deeply…read moredisappointed, disturbed, and shocked by this shop's extreme negligence and absurd behavior. When I first brought the truck in so they could look at it he told me he could do the repair at the amount insurance was offering and said he "doesn't like painting over dents," which gave me confidence the panel would be repaired without dents. After nearly three weeks, the truck came back with sloppy work: Eight areas of visible debris and pinholes in the paint, a visible dent, one trim piece scuffed, tape left on two different areas, and an area that looks like rust wasn't properly prepped before painting. I brought it back to discuss the issues. The owner agreed to a repaint and even said, "I'm surprised you didn't bring it back sooner," suggesting he already knew the work was bad. He also said fixing the dent would be another $300. That's odd since he implied he would repair all of the dents when I first brought the truck in. On the day scheduled for the repaint, I unfortunately had to decline to pay the extra $300 for the dent repair since I already spent $500 and didn't want to put more money into it. I think that made him angry even though he said that was optional. I still expected the other defects to be fixed. While we spoke, he rubbed an abrasive pad across the painted panel as a demonstration leaving about two feet of visible scratches. I then pointed out several repair problems, including a small rust spot that looked like rust in that area had been painted over, and I said in a half joking way, "This spot bothers me for some reason." I was trying to keep the conversation light because I was sensing he was getting angry. He then replied with some insults: "I think a lot of things bother you," accused me of "trying to get free stuff," and said he'd "paint the rust spot if he had enough paint." I was shocked but kept my comments to myself at that point. I left to take the bus home. As I walked, his "enough paint" remark was irritating me, so I returned to the office to clarify what he meant. As we were discussing the situation the receptionist suggested I take my keys and reschedule after things cooled down. I agreed and walked to my truck to leave. As I was leaving, the owner came outside and asked why I was leaving. I told him it was because of what he said. He instantly became extremely angry, told me to "get out of here!" and threatened to punch me in the face. I left and later filed a police report due to that violent threat. Their website states "All our paint services are backed by warranties ranging from limited to lifetime," and that they "take pride in customer satisfaction." I have tried to contact them several times about honoring that warranty and have received no response. I emailed photos of the multiple repair defects to them afterward, asking how they would fix them and received no response. Poor workmanship, insulting comments, and violent threats toward a customer. Avoid this shop at all costs if you value your vehicle and your personal safety.

This was after the repairs were "done" they instead of fixing my car they created more damage. I…read morementioned it to the manager and he just shrugged his shoulder. I told my insurance (allstate) that i was concerned that they would do more damage. They said the district manager will look after your car and everything will be great. The last photo is "everything great" and "watched over". So if you go here you WILL get more damage done than repairs. This was on hoyt st I got hit two times in the a day. So I had 2 repairs at the same time. Before i went my driver window worked. After it didn't work. (They tried to say preexisting) I had pictures of it working AT the accident, they also made my key not work in the door. And i had rear damage. They didn't do the back bumper correctly. It wiggled and was soft. When I inspected it more they forgot a shock exorbitant in the bumper. I went back and the general manager said my 2014 car was so new nissan says it's not needed anymore. So my car is so old the window wont work but so new they are changing things? I went to nissan of salem to check. There have been no changes to the bumper and it's a safety thing. So I was lied to about the safety of my car. This was lewis st. This all happened in a 2 month period.

Update 12/19/2023…read more Someone from the shop named Chad Thibodeau called me from 503-804-6041 claiming to be higher up the chain at the body shop. At the time i was unable to answer my phone. I returned the call when it was convenient for me and its been 2 days since i left him a message and no call back yet. Jist dropped my car off to Honda for my seatbelt repair to find that my estimate from this body shop was a cut corner estimate. Horrible shop. 100% do not recommend! Be careful they will.screw you over and not take your repairs seriously. Very unprofessional. This place is nothing but liars and swindlers.

Hi Justin. Thank you for your response. It is very…read moredisappointing that you would write 2 completely different responses, one to me directly and one publicly. They didn't align. The responses evaded responsibility and don't represent the level of integrity you had claimed to have. I have attached the message you sent me in an attempt to be more transparent with the community than you are willing to be. In response to your attached private message: You state that you had saw me walking or skating a block and a half away. Well which one was it? It sounds as though you are unsure. Also, you stating that you had no reason to believe that I was bringing in a vehicle was based off of me both arriving as well as leaving on a skateboard. How could you have determined that if I hadn't left yet, but had already been denied? My girlfriend was waiting in the car for me. At this point you are calling me a liar about having my vehicle with me. I had drove down from Carlton....not skated. We are also happy to provide the rest of the community the title of our Escalade, that you continually attempt to accuse me of lying about. Why would you make a customer PROVE they are a customer before willing to engage. That's not good business. Can you please explain, not just to me, but the rest of the community reading this, how vandalism and late night calls is in any way associated with my personal interaction with your business? It only excuses your prejudicial discretion. You state Covid-19 as your last ditch effort to express why you were as informing as you were. Justin, none of you where wearing masks. That would be a good start if you would like your actions to reflect your excuses. I will not be editing or removing my review because of your inability to take responsibility to some bad judgement was clearly evaded. I hope no one else has to feel the way you made me feel. Take responsibility and do better. Your community deserves it. -Casey Harrison

Took it back and it's been sitting there not touched for two weeks and no one thought to call to tell me there was an issue. Went and picked it up today. A hose was dangling from the underneath. Nice. They told my insurance company it wasn't safe to drive. Then why did they send it home the first time saying all repairs were complete. I took it back to them because they didn't fix the bumpers or the windows or the running board. My claims officer called them and asked why all of a sudden it wasn't safe? They said they was incorrect information. Super mad! I'll go somewhere else for the rest of the repairs. The office ladies are very nice though, the only positive thing I have to say.

Everyone involved did such a great job, I don't know where to start!…read more I obtained five local estimates for damage sustained to my Forerunner, before choosing Lovegrove Collision--and I chose them for many reasons. They got me in right away, I barely even had time to check my phone once I arrived. The estimation process was thorough and professional, he even discovered damage that I hadn't initially noticed. These are professionals. The office manager kept me well apprised, and they finished the repairs in record time, with no loss in quality. I hope that I don't need any body work again, anytime soon, but if I do, I know where I'll go! Five Stars! Highly recommended!

The work itself seems OK, but the shop is very disorganized. I scheduled an appointment for repairs…read more(insurance) about a week and a half in advance, but when I showed up to drop my vehicle off, they didn't seem to be expecting me and told me they'd call back later that day to let me know when to expect my vehicle back (I had earlier been told it would take 2-3 days because the damage was fairly minor). No one returned my call, and when I called back the following day, they told me it would be at least 2 weeks to get my vehicle back. Only after threatening to take my car to another shop, they "fast tracked" me and got it done within the week. To top it off, the woman at the counter does not know how to wear a face mask properly. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
