We have been using these guys for service and repairs for 6 years now. I interviewed 4 pool…read moreservice companies when we first bought our home. Out of those, PoolPros was the only one that diagnosed a return line leak that the others had missed. During our 6 years with PoolPros Tony and J have installed/upgraded (a) a salt chlorine generator (b) LED pool and spa lights (c) a new fiberglass cover for our pool filter and (d) replaced our Pentair Minimax spa heater (13 years old). Tony also gave us supplier pricing on our pool cleaner "robot". In addition Tony helped my landscape guys in wiring a low voltage transformer directly to our Aqualink System for remote programming (at no charge). PoolPros now sends out weekly automated reminders of your scheduled cleaning and required filter cleanings. They've also been very good at communicating when/if your service rep changes. Like a previous poster stated our pool is also very large and is surrounded by an avocado grove. When the pollen starts dropping and the pool starts to get warm (solar system installed) the algae can be a bear. These guys manage it very well. While I can't be sure, I'd be wary of 1 star reviews that only have a single Yelp review listed.

Tony cane out and quoted me for a clean and monthly service. I didn't know if it was a fair price, so I didn't sign up right away (plus I wanted to make sure I told my wife first). Anyway, after DECLINING to sign up with them, Tony still showed me around the system, spent time teaching and showing me how both indoor and outdoor panels work, how to adjust valves, and he also helped me find the water shutoff. All of this and I wasn't even a customer yet. We got a few more quotes, all about the same (within $5 if each other). We went with pool pros. They have cleaned the filters 3 times due to an algae bloom I had when I moved in. They have been back 2 times a week checking on the state of my pool. JJ did the first deep clean, including the filters. the pool was night and day. Ryan did the second clean and also cleaned the filters. My young kids were running around and probably bothering him, but he was just playing right back. As a father, anyone that treats my kids well is a winner to me. Then, after my pool stabilized, JJ came back to do the 3rd filter clean. The pool is doing great. Oh, and this is all within the first month. I can't wait to see how awesome they are as time goes on.
