Dendra Doors made custom doors for our Ikea Cabinets - and they turned out AMAZING! At first I was…read moreconfused by the website - because I couldn't quite figure out what my options were. But then I emailed them to clarify, and learned that it's because it's SO custom, the options are really pretty endless! Ciara (who is amazing to work with - super responsive and helpful) explained that I could choose painted doors (any color), a veneer, or laminate. I chose to go laminate, and just went to my local Home Depot to look at samples of Formica laminate (hundreds of options). Once I told her what I wanted (a faux aluminum laminate with a glass panel in the center), she told me it might even be cooler to just get real aluminum. Yes please! So she did all of the research to find a vendor that could supply the aluminum so that they could make the doors. She really searched for a good price for me, and then made sure that by the time the doors arrived to them for assembly, it was a fast turnaround to add the glass panels and ship them to me. They arrived perfectly packaged (from Oregon to California)- not a scratch on them. The doors look incredible, and we're super happy with the service and genuine care they obviously have for their customers. THANK YOU DENDRA DOORS!

I…read moreloved that they had a wide selection of door styles and colors to choose from, unlike Ikea, where the style selection is very limited. We really loved all of the storage solutions that came with an Ikea kitchen but didn't like the door styles, so this was a perfect compromise. Dendra was the only place that I could find that worked specifically with Ikea cabinets and had the door style that I was looking for. When it came time to choose a color, they mailed me color samples so I could decide exactly which one I wanted. They also worked with us to create a custom door for our pull out spice rack so that we didn't lose any valuable space. They were super responsive from beginning to end. Getting a quote was really easy, and when we had questions once we got to the install, they were happy to talk through things with us on the phone. We did have several doors that came to us flawed, either because drilling patterns were off or because there was a flaw on the door front. We checked the doors as soon as they came in, and would send Braden pictures of the doors, showing what was wrong. While it was certainly an annoyance and meant that we were having to sort through good vs. bad doors, they were really quick to respond and have the doors remade. Any remakes shipped very quickly too. It's definitely possible that that the pandemic contributed to this issue and made it worse that usual - either way, I was ultimately very pleased with the quality of doors I installed. Our kitchen has been complete for a couple months now, and I can still say that I am so happy I went with Dendra Doors. I haven't had any issues pop up with the doors so far, and they look great! You'd never know we had a Ikea kitchen.

I finally have the kitchen I want, and for a reasonable price tag. John and his team delivered a fabulous product. Our previous kitchen was a design mess. It was dark, ergonomically crazy and not fun to cook in. I HATED it! We had some ideas about what we needed to fix, but John had the vision of what to do and was good explaining his ideas. They worked well with us to reduce costs too. We were able to assemble our own ikea cabinets saving a bit there. I would not recommend this unless you have done some Ikea assembly and are familiar with their methods. We also did much of our own deconstruction of the old kitchen. We had previously put down hardwood floor, so we had to remove old cabinets, appliances and wall tiles. We did as much as we could, which was down to the wall. John and his crew came in and worked very efficiently. Ours was not a 5 day kitchen as they had to do more structural and more plumbing and move gas lines etc. We had a great new kitchen in 3 weeks. They were responsive quickly with a few little things we found to touch up after the construction. We are still very happy with our kitchen. What amazes me is that we had about 4 feet of counter space before and now have about 14 feet and the place does not look crowded. Our kitchen looks so much bigger than before. Design makes a difference. Creativity and innovation make a difference. I recommend working with these folks.

Had a remodel through Dales remodeling. The floors were subcontracted through Cherry City. We paid…read morethe increased cost for higher end product. vinyl plank. They failed within a year. Boards started cracking. They kept sending out the installer to replace the cracked boards with leftover material we had from the original install. But it continued to happen. Finally, they reached out to the manufacturer who sent their own inspector out to determine what the cause was. Before this inspector came out though Jeff, the head of Cherry City sent the original installer back out to my house to make some adjustments and create gaps in the installl so it was altered before the manufacturer showed up. After they came back with their report determining it was a bad install, Jeff said that he disagreed with it. Ultimately, they didn't take care of it and we have a cracked floor in multiple places. Avoid this place at all cost. They are terrible and Jeff is a total piece of garbage.
