Such root beer much frosty mug
Russell Z.

5/5. I'm from the USA, where A&W food quality is really poor, on par with McDonalds. So, I understand where the negative reviews are coming from, when you compare to other A&W Canada locations, this one is probably on the lower end. Still, the total experience was worthwhile. An hour of driving north from Vancouver, my stomach grumbled for nutrition. What better, healthier food to put down than Canadian fast food? I quickly parked my rental car in the rather spacious parking lot and hurried out of my car. To the perplexed cashier, I came in with a massive grin on my face. I ordered a burger, poutine and root beer, and sure enough, the root beer was served in the iconic frosty mug, see pic attached. Anyone who's read my reviews, you know I'm passionate about my public WiFi. I toggled it on my smartphone, and connected to the guest network. Speedtest results, see attached. 25.00 Mbps down. I couldn't believe it. I've not come across a SINGLE Starbucks in California that tests that high in speedtest, I'm lucky to even get 1 Mbps but a middle-of-nowhere fast food chain in Canada can beat LA network traffic speeds? What. The. Hell. Canada takes the cake. Gratefully I wolfed my burger down and finished the root beer. The chill from the frosty mug was a welcome freeze to my head. Poutine, with the assistance of a silver fork, became an empty container in minutes. To be fair, the service was not 5 star, but seriously, you don't come to a fast food restaurant for 5 star service.

Fantastic view from this A&W. Root beer float time!
Tomas P.

The service was great, the view was extraordinary, and the food was delicious! We had two Uncle burgers, an order of sweet potato fries (that comes with delicious chipotle mayo) and two root beer floats. I highly recommend this place. See if you can snag one of the few tables with the view of Stawamus Chief Provincial Park!

Waited forever in the drive through. The server forgot an item and didn't give ketchup with the fries.

After a big day outside nothing satisfies quite like a burger, fries, and root beer in an ice cold mug.

The food here is pretty decent! It's not AMMMMAAAZZIINNGG but it's also not terrible! I'd prefer it…read moreover subway or McDonald's for fire.. I had the Buddha Satay and good portions, had some left over for later. The vibes inside is quite relaxing, good music playing, love the fake plants on the wall, they have free wifi but Shaw wifi is also here!

I've seen these Freshii locations all over Vancouver and decided to grab a quick to go lunch after errands in Squamish. Unfortunately something was a bit off about my Zen salad (think it was the dressing?), like something was allowed to live a little bit longer than it was supposed to in the refrigerator. And for over $9 my zen salad was comprised of half of the bad parts of romaine lettuce only had a few edamame, sour tasting mango bits (thank goodness there were only 4 tiny pieces), 3 tiny tiny shreds of broccoli, and soggy crunchy won ton strips, that's not so zen to me. Maybe they are not known for this salad or maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I have no idea but I'll never spend this amount of money for something that I can get way better and cheaper at McDonald's. I was also disappointed that they don't make juices when you order, they pre-make everything and stick them in refrigerators, so if you come here closer to 1pm they are already out of a lot of options because they don't make more. So why the three stars? Well service was good, they are fast and maybe I just don't know of what to order in here yet or this was just an off day. I'll give them a try again but not for that salad! #Squamish

The Crabapple Café feels like going home for weekend bruch.  The kind you don't overthink, you just…read moresit down, order big, and trust the room. It's rustic in that honest, country way: wood, warmth, and a smallish-town Squamish vibe that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. The location does half the work for the ambiance, the rest comes from the feeling that someone actually cares about feeding you well. This is home-cooked brunch with intention. Portions are generous without being sloppy, and every plate feels thought out, like it's been tested by real people who eat breakfast for a living. The pancakes are the headline act--huge, fluffy, unapologetic, and exactly what you want when you're leaning back in your chair wondering if you should order another coffee or surrender to a food coma. And if the night before got a little loose, the double Caesar is a public service: bracing, restorative, and delivered without judgment - oh my aching head. What really seals it, though, is the staff--genuinely welcoming, on their game, and clearly proud of the place. The Crabapple Café isn't trying to be trendy or precious. It's just very good at what it does. A must-try in Squamish, especially if you believe breakfast should be comforting, filling, and a little bit healing. This is not our first time, and definitely not our last. The cafe has become our way station before heading up to Whistler. CHEERS!!!
