They did a great job in installing my starter. Car runs great!!! Quick and effective! Honest and reliable!! Will use again in the future!!

The pricing is very fair. Timeliness and professionalism is unmatched. Five star service!!

My husband always does his own car repairs, but he is getting a little older now and realizes there are other capable people to help. We were very fortunate to find A & J mobile mechanics in Katy, Tx. Called them in the morning and they asked if they could come that day around 6pm, they were currently on another job. They came, did an honest professional job right in our garage. Adam was the mechanic we spoke to, he gave us the quote over the phone, did not try to sell us other products and did an outstanding job. We would like to say this was a great car repair experience, no towing to a garage, no waiting in a crowded lounge, just pleasant, honest, professional guys working on our car and my husband could see their work at any time. Definately would reccomend their service. Thank you for your work and getting our car repaired. E Lanning H Lanning Richmond, Texas read more

Cannot recommend them enough. Requested a quote through Yelp to have rotors and brake pads replaced on my vehicle. They were extremely responsive and fairly priced. Better yet: they come to you! Justin arrived at my home at the scheduled time and was in and out in a couple hours. Even explained what was wrong with the old parts. Definitely earned my repeat business. read more

Adam was awesome! He came out the same afternoon and had the car up and running in no time without charging an arm and a leg! Will DEFINITELY use this company again! read more

Adam is the man! Called him last minute on a Friday to help me with my 99 S10 and he came through. He stuck around until late at night to make sure it was fixed properly. He was definitely a blessing and I will continue to use from here on out. read more

I can't express how good these guys are. If my car needs more work, I'll definitely send my money with them. They follow covid protocol, quick and clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend these gentlemen. Thanks again guys read more

Great work, fair price, and they come to you. There's not much to complain about with A&J Mobile Mechanics.

Don't think I will ever use any other mechanic. My alternator went out on a Friday evening on the way home. Called up A and J while waiting for a tow, just to get an estimate. They told me the price (which was extremely reasonable) and told me they could be out the next day. Fast forward to a couple hours before the repair. I went to pull my battery out so I could charge it before the alternator and serpentine belt were fixed. Battery hit the ground a little hard and started leaking. A And J went ahead and drove me to the store to get a new one before starting repairs These guys were fast, helpful, did a GREAT job, and were very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone needing repaies read more

Adam showed up at the exact time as mentioned and wasted no time getting the job done. Very friendly and offered to health check my other car at no cost. I definitely recommend A&J read more

Adam was great! I contacted him at 3pm and he was at my home by 4. I sent over some photos of the problem and within less than 2 hours he was done with the job. Unfortunately he had to do a little extra work than expected, but I'm glad he was able to get me rolling again! I will definitely be using and recommending his services in the future. read more

Adam gave great service! Was able to replace my car battery at home same day. Very quick to respond and very friendly! Highly recommend.

So after being stuck in the house all day Monday from the floods here in Katy, Tx my husband and I decided to get out for dinner. We hadnt driven but 5 miles from our home when all of a sudden we ran over something that punctured our 2 week old tire. We immediately pulled over and observed the damage. So my husband starts the process of changing the tire except for the fact that he had never changed a tire on a truck before. I begin searching UTube for instructions and our immediate thought was "oh no, we are going to be here for a while", Sigh.... When all of a sudden, a gentleman pulls up to us and ask if we have a jack. Long story short, it is Jon with A & J Mobile Mechanics. He immediately went to work and got the tire changed within 5 minutes. He then introduced his self and his company which we had no idea they even existed. Although this is his line of work, Jon declined payment from us. This speaks alot about the type of man Jon is and about their business. His only request was that we spread the word of their company in order to help others too. Believe me, my husband and I both have their number in our phones and YOU SHOULD TOO! GREAT SERVICE!!! read more

Adam did a awesome job. Told him what the problem was over the cell phone. He arrive at the house. He got the job done. Very nice person gave me ride the auto store so I can complete what I was working on. I would definitely call Adam on any future problems. Two Thumps Up. read more

Smoothest mechanic experience ever. Friendly guy, no fuss, no guessing games, no waste of money. Showed up within an hour with the part and got my car back up and running. Saved me a whole day's headache with tow trucks and expensive mechanic shops! read more

When I first starting looking around for a mobile mechanic because I live in California and my Grandmother lives in Texas. I really wanted to make sure i found a place i could trust since my Grandmother lives alone.I found A&J Mobile Mechanic and from the first time I talk to Adam I knew he was a great person and i would be able to trust me. He was very friendly and promised me he would take care my Grandmother's truck. Over the past couple of years I have been trying to get my Grandmothers truck up and running since it was one of the last things she had left that reminded her of my Grandfather since he use to have a truck just like it. The first time he went out he called him and let me know what exactly what was wrong with it and told me he will check other things to make sure that was the root cause of the truck not starting. After finding out it was the fuel pump that was the issue that was making the truck not want to start he told me to just go ahead and order the part and recommended that i also get a fuel tank just because He felt more comfortable that i replace the fuel tank since the fuel had been sitting in the truck for almost 2 years. So i went ahead and ordered the parts after they arrived he went to install the parts but noticed that the fuel tank wasn't built properly and called me and told me that he didn't feel comfortable putting the new tank in so he went ahead and drained out the old tank and put the new pump in. After all of the hard work and time he dedicated to my helping my Grandma and getting to know her he got her truck up and running. What was the greatest thing is what he charged me i couldn't of ask for anything better. This is a great Company and i would definitely recommend Adam and his company to anybody that needs help with there vehicle. read more

Wow, when I say Adam was heaven sent, I truly mean it. He showed up a little late, but he was very apologetic for it, so it was no problem. His customer service skills are amazing.. His communication and knowledge of his job is awesome. Finding a trustworthy mechanic is hard, especially as a female, but I totally found that in Adam. He made sure my truck was back to normal before leaving, and even suggested other stuff I might possibly need in the future. I'm so glad I read the yelp reviews and used him. I made sure to add and store him in my phone, because he will definitely be my new mechanic from here on out.. If you're in need of a mechanic, use him, I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Adam, I truly appreciate you and will definitely be using your services again. Many blessings to you!!! read more

Adam and John recently did work on my 2000 Jaguar s-type. Although they admitted it being their first time working on this model car, they were very patient and thorough when trying to identify the problem and learned that a shady mechanic had changed the engine without me knowing. These guys are sharp and really use technology to their advantage. Above all they have GREAT customer service and a fair price. Thanks guys!!! read more

I Needed a state inspection on my sons 1997 Chevy Tahoe... would not pass... State Inspection garage wanted $700 for 2 O2 sensors, spark plugs and spark plug wires... I've used A an J 3 or 4 times before and have been very satisfied. I called Adam and he came out the next morning and did the same work for 40% less than the garage quote plus Adam found the Distributor Cap and rotor were very corroded and also needed replacing. The old 173,000 mile Tahoe runs awesome and passed the state inspection emissions test with flying colors. I've worked now with Justin and Adam.... Both can be highly trusted with whatever they tell you.... read more

Repaired my son's Benz C230 Alternator. Very professional. When worked through a patch of rain. Traveled outside of his normal work area. Greatly appreciate him. Very impressed as most mechanics shy away from European cars. read more

I cannot thank Adam and John enough for their reasonable, diligent and hard work determining the issue with my car this past weekend!!! Even though they are "mobile" repair mechanics, they let me have my car towed to their house and worked on it until they figured out it was the catalytic converter. (Saturday pm and Sunday) --even went into houston to pick up a new one with minimal charge to me-just to get me home! Even my amazing 5-star Austin mechanics said all was done very fairly and I mean, really?!? Who would work so determinedly on a weekend unless they were going to GOUGE you for the repair? But A & J didn't! If you have problems, you're crazy if you don't consider these guys! Please, for your own good, listen to the school teacher in me! Thanks, Adam! You're the best! read more

My car's battery had died down and I called A and J Mobile mechanics at around 11:30 in the night. Just as posted in yelp they were available. Although they could not come to my place to fix the car, because they were almost 2 hours away they were able to give me a clear overview of what might have gone wrong. This information gave me a lot of comfort and helped me understand what i should do to resolve my issue. Thanks guys ! much appreciate the help read more

Quick to respond. Excellent service. Great when you are stuck and can't get a tow. I would call them again.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. They are dishonest and will overcharge you. They have no passion at all about figuring out what is wrong with your car. They are inexperienced. They told my fiance and I and that they fixed my car when they did not. I will not be using their service again and I am praying that no one else does, because if they know you do not know anything about cars, they will get over on you. My fiance was out of pocket $500 + for work on my car that these people did not provide. They say they replaced my spark plugs and replaced the hose that is related to the heating and cooling system, which should not be $500+. Even the owner did not try to give our money back or at least some of it back. read more

More than fair pricing. Fast response time via yelp and text message. Courteous and conscientious with the added bonus that they come to your home. I could not be more pleased and have already recommended them to a coworker just one day later. read more

Great service! I never new there was such a thing as a mobile mechanic, but thankfully A and J was available to come to our rescue. Adam & John replaced the fuel pump in our RV while parked at the truck stop where the pump just quit working. It was a big, messy job and they did it after dark - literally saving our vacation. They worked until the wee hours of the morning & I am so appreciative of their hard work - these two definitely went the extra mile for us! Nice guys, good workers, fair price! I would absolutely use them again and am giving them a huge thumbs up. read more
