They came, did an honest professional job right in our garage. Don't think I will ever use any other mechanic. My alternator went out on a Friday evening on the way home. Called up A and J while waiting for a tow, just to get an estimate. They told me the price (which was extremely reasonable) and told me they could be out the next day. Fast forward to a couple hours before the repair. I went to pull my battery out so I could charge it before the alternator and serpentine belt were fixed. Battery hit the ground a little hard and started leaking. A And J went ahead and drove me to the store to get a new one before starting repairs These guys were fast, helpful, did a GREAT job, and were very reasonably priced. So after being stuck in the house all day Monday from the floods here in Katy, Tx my husband and I decided to get out for dinner. We hadnt driven but 5 miles from our home when all of a sudden we ran over something that punctured our 2 week old tire. We immediately pulled over and observed the damage. So my husband starts the process of changing the tire except for the fact that he had never changed a tire on a truck before. I begin searching UTube for instructions and our immediate thought was "oh no, we are going to be here for a while", Sigh.... When all of a sudden, a gentleman pulls up to us and ask if we have a jack. Long story short, it is Jon with A & J Mobile Mechanics. He immediately went to work and got the tire changed within 5 minutes. He then introduced his self and his company which we had no idea they even existed. Wow, when I say Adam was heaven sent, I truly mean it. He showed up a little late, but he was very apologetic for it, so it was no problem. His customer service skills are amazing.. When I first starting looking around for a mobile mechanic because I live in California and my Grandmother lives in Texas. I really wanted to make sure i found a place i could trust since my Grandmother lives alone.I found A&J Mobile Mechanic and from the first time I talk to Adam I knew he was a great person and i would be able to trust me. He was very friendly and promised me he would take care my Grandmother's truck. Over the past couple of years I have been trying to get my Grandmothers truck up and running since it was one of the last things she had left that reminded her of my Grandfather since he use to have a truck just like it. The first time he went out he called him and let me know what exactly what was wrong with it and told me he will check other things to make sure that was the root cause of the truck not starting. After finding out it was the fuel pump that was the issue that was making the truck not want to start he told me to just go ahead and order the part and recommended that i also get a fuel tank just because He felt more comfortable that i replace the fuel tank since the fuel had been sitting in the truck for almost 2 years. So i went ahead and ordered the parts after they arrived he went to install the parts but noticed that the fuel tank wasn't built properly and called me and told me that he didn't feel comfortable putting the new tank in so he went ahead and drained out the old tank and put the new pump in. After all of the hard work and time he dedicated to my helping my Grandma and getting to know her he got her truck up and running. What was the greatest thing is what he charged me i couldn't of ask for anything better. This is a great Company and i would definitely recommend Adam and his company to anybody that needs help with there vehicle. read more

I Needed a state inspection on my sons 1997 Chevy Tahoe... would not pass... State Inspection garage wanted $700 for 2 O2 sensors, spark plugs and spark plug wires... I've used A an J 3 or 4 times before and have been very satisfied. I called Adam and he came out the next morning and did the same work for 40% less than the garage quote plus Adam found the Distributor Cap and rotor were very corroded and also needed replacing. The old 173,000 mile Tahoe runs awesome and passed the state inspection emissions test with flying colors. I've worked now with Justin and Adam.... I cannot thank Adam and John enough for their reasonable, diligent and hard work determining the issue with my car this past weekend!!! Even though they are "mobile" repair mechanics, they let me have my car towed to their house and worked on it until they figured out it was the catalytic converter. (Saturday pm and Sunday) --even went into houston to pick up a new one with minimal charge to me-just to get me home! Even my amazing 5-star Austin mechanics said all was done very fairly and I mean, really?!? Who would work so determinedly on a weekend unless they were going to GOUGE you for the repair? Although they could not come to my place to fix the car, because they were almost 2 hours away they were able to give me a clear overview of what might have gone wrong. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. They are dishonest and will overcharge you. They have no passion at all about figuring out what is wrong with your car. They are inexperienced.They told my fiance and I and that they fixed my car when they did not. I will not be using their service again and I am praying that no one else does, because if they know you do not know anything about cars, they will get over on you. My fiance was out of pocket $500 + for work on my car that these people did not provide. They say they replaced my spark plugs and replaced the hose that is related to the heating and cooling system, which should not be $500+. Even the owner did not try to give our money back or at least some of it back. read more

Adam & John replaced the fuel pump in our RV while parked at the truck stop where the pump just quit working. It was a big, messy job and they did it after dark - literally saving our vacation.
