I rarely if ever write reviews unless there is something noteworthy. In fact I am the cynic who actually does read the low scoring reviews first. So after a phenomenal evening to a TUXEDO & GOWN SENIOR BALL at the Oakland Marriott downtown Oakland, made in part by the company A& E Transportation Service. We contacted them the day before the event with a request for various pick ups in the East Bay. Aaron was quite accommodating and patiently walked me through some of the on line glitches. This was a special night for a very speacial group. Seniors attending a Senior Ball. This is a group whom primarily does not go out often. And the idea of being escorted to the Marriott's ballroom for an elegant evening was delightful. The trip in the party bus with laser lights and hearing their ole school songs accompany them on the trip was wonderful. Many people don't realize how much of a dream this is for others. Seniors often times on a fixed budget can never envision taking in some of these pleasantries. Some in the group do not go out anymore because of the perceived risk. For some beyond their reach finanacially and for others beyond their imagination. Hearing them laugh and sing along the way hinted of the party we had before we got to the party. We used A&E Transportation for our party of 8 from SFO to Napa with a return trip. However, one person had a very early departure time when we were leaving. A&E Transportation took care of us. Charles was our driver for all trips, and he was punctual, professional, accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area. Also, he gave us great recommendations. I was very impressed with Charles's relentless effort to get us to the airport when the interstate was blocked, and we were looking at a 1.5+ hr delay which would have caused us to miss our flight. He tried 2 different routes and was able to get us there in enough time to make our flight. We were so grateful b/c flights were pretty booked and our party may have been split trying to get back to Tennessee. The vehicle was an 11 passenger sprinter that was spacious, clean and reasonably priced compared to some others. I am happy that of all the transportation companies that I searched, I chose A&E because I was more than pleased. We had the BEST time on our party bus with A&E Transportation. The booking was easy and seamless, I was able to book our trip to Napa vineyards the week of without a problem. Charles, our driver arrived right on time and made sure we had everything we needed for our ride out to the vineyards. The bus was very spacious and comfortable, had LED lights throughout, champagne glasses readily available for everyone and awesome speakers! The upkeep of the bus was clean, well stocked with cup holders, ice bins, and pleasingly modernized. lighting was perfect. Music played well sounded nice..
