During the holidays, you have to call days in advance because they run out of pancit!! Couple weeks ago, on a Saturday evening, I called to order a plate of pancit and pork guisantes, 5:30 pm, but they were sold out. That's how beloved Juliez is to the Kapolei community. And the nice thing, they open up early for breakfast, at 7 am. When we have family coming in first thing in the morning, we having breakfast at Juliez not the other local restaurant by the police station. What's not to love? One of our other favorites is shrimp sarciado. It's like a shrimp omelette with whole shrimp, head and shell on, tomatoes, onions, garlic and eggs. Without the shrimp shell on, this dish would not be the same as all the juices sit in the shell. Yup, I've seen locals and tourists visit Juliez for breakfast and order the pancakes. It's nice to see when the tourists try something different and go into beast mode. As far as the interior, not fancy at all but that's ok. Individuals and families enjoy having a meal here. Dishes can be ordered family style or plate lunch style with two or three choice. And everything is reasonably priced. Staff there, although they may not know our names but they know our faces. All are very pleasant. Two things that I wish they had on the menu, tortang talong (eggplant omelette) and a family pack. However, the eggplant omelette maybe an off menu item like the arroz caldo (chicken porridge). I'll ask next time I'm there.

Killer Pancakes at a Filipino Restaurant in Kapolei? Well I guess if someone on this page asked me…read moreif I tried it I guess I had to make a trek out to Kapolei at Julie's Filipino Restaurant and see what the hype is all about I had to order the Short Stack ($11.50) and the Lechilog which is Lechon served with Pork Abobo Fried Rice Omelet ($15.50). And after the smoke settled I have to say these Pancakes are the real deal. By the looks of it you can say they look like any other Pancakes but after one bite it was truly magical. The Pancakes were super light and fluffy and couldn't stop eating it. I'm glad it came out before my Lechilog so I could dig into it right away. Pro tip, don't let these Pancakes just sit idle on your plate it has to be eaten right away just like eating a Malasada. The only other Pancake that I had that was better than this was at the Four Season's in Wailea Maui. To be frankly honest even if you're not a big fan of Filipino Food I would just come here for the Pancakes As for the Lechilog it was ok. Nothing that would make me want to order it again. The draw here to me is the Pancakes and I would once again make that trek out to Kapolei to get my Pancake Craving. Julie'z is definitely an icon here in Kapolei as it was crazy packed and was lucky to snag a table for one. Friendly Service cool atmosphere. Love to see a family run Restaurant do so good Mahalo Kasla Boun for the recommendation. I just had to go after your comment

There were two people ahead of us and we probably waited about 5 minutes to have our order taken which is to be expected. The inside has beautiful decor, lots of pictures of food and vibrant colors and plenty of comfortable seating. We had some questions about the menu and the women taking our order was very helpful with everything. We ordered our food and were told to sit anywhere we like. We ordered an Elena's Mixed Plate 2 plate combo with Diniguan and Monggo Beans with Pork, it came with two scoops of rice. And we also ordered the March Special which had Pancit, Gisantes, Lechon and Pork Adobo Fried Omelet. The Diniguan was made perfectly! Not sour at all but just the perfect amount of flavor.. the Monggo Beans with Pork were cooked perfectly with delicious pork pieces inside. The March Special was such a good deal! The Pancit, made just right, thr Gisantes, spot on, thr Lechon, amazingly fried and the Pork Adibo Fried Omlete was absolutely delicious! Something i didnt know I needed! The rice was also cooked perfectly, not mushy or under cooked but just right! We got cups of water to drink and they brought us out two cups and a pitcher to refill our cups at the table which I can appreciate.. Overall such a great place with kind, friendly staff and amazing delicious food!

We also get diniguan, sari sari, pancit. let me just say, there is not one food that we eat there that we dont like, haha... So if you have never tried them, I suggest you wait no longer :)))

Parking was easy and they had lots of tables available. They said they get busy during peak hours and recommend reservations. The waiters are friendly and the music was 80/90s music. Everything tasted as expected which is what we wanted. The Shanghai Lumpia was crunchy and sweet with the dipping sauce. The Adobo Fried Rice Omelet with Lechon Kawali was a table favorite. Omelet was fluffy soft and the Lechon melted in their mouth but not chewy. Oxtail Soup was flavorful and the oxtail was fall off the bone tender. The Sizzling Pork Sisig was served on a sizzling platter and the spices all mixed well together while cooking the raw egg. The Loco Moco was large and flavorful with the meat holding together and cooked to our requested temperature. Overall prices were reasonable, portions were big, and we were all able to share food. It's conveniently located right off the freeway and very near to wal-mart. There were sufficient parking spaces and not a chaotic parking lot despite the fact that I visited during lunch time. I ordered the Mushroom burger (well done - please don't judge) and a full house salad with creamy, balsamic dressing. The burger was so juicy and served with large slices of onion that really complimented the burger. The house salad hit the spot and gave me the energy I needed for the rest of the work day. I split my meals so that I could eat the burger for lunch and the salad for dinner. Highly recommend you visit Tiano's !

This is one of my favorite foods, SO of course I had to go check it out for myself. Unfortunately, at the time I went there it wasn't available, and was told it wouldn't be available until about 10:30 am. So, I browsed around Little Manila Market... It's a small market and the name says what exactly you'll find here. I seen there was Puto; A steamed rice cake slightly sweet & topped with cheese for $7 for a pack of 6. I purchased a container, Let me say it was very delicious! I opened it up in my car on my way to work and couldn't stop eating it. If I could have I would have eaten all of it before reaching Waikele. I wanted to share some with my husband so I shared 2 with him. I'll be back for more! Hot foods are available: Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. Location: Ho'opili next to Haus Of Puas. Parking: Street Parking. Seating: Outdoor, tables with umbrellas. Looking forward to trying their Filipino hot dishes & picking up a container or two of Puto. One for me and one for the husband.

I happen to see a Instagram reel by Joshybu, made me add this to the list to visit ASAP. Note, there are 2 Little Manila Market, the other one is in Waipahu this is at Ewa Beach, located at Ho'opili, great location/convenient for residences of Ho'opili and for those on the west side. Ample street parking and there are few tables out front to enjoy the goods! The store is cozy in the corner, Filipino grocery store that offers a wide range of authentic products, including snacks, ingredients, frozen foods, household items, including pancit canton, my favorites. They carry few local products which I was surprise to see the Pork Hash Factory frozen pork hash and bottled sauce. I enjoyed browsing, now I know where to go when I need more goods when I am on this side of the island. One of the reasons to visit, was the hot foods, this is available on weekends only, I wanted to try the empanada ( from Instagram reel) and the foods but when I arrived after 1 pm, they were all sold out of most of the hot foods. Bummer, note for next time to come early. The only item I got was dessert which we enjoyed. The hot foods is located at the front of the store near entrance. What did I end up getting, pork hash factory sauce ( $3.50) frozen bag of Saba ( bananas) pancit canton noods and bottle of pre-mixed vinegar with the chili pepper in it. The prices wasn't bad. All in all, I am glad I got to visit Little Manila Market, now I need to try the empanadas & hot foods.,-Next time! Oh, it is little Manila Market but filled with TONS of goods!
