Mexican food on wheels! Although this place does catering, they also have a food truck! Last night I noticed a truck up the street from where I live. I then noticed it was back again this morning! I looked up the name on Instagram and found out they were serving up Mexican food! My hubby loves Mexican so we had to try it out. First off, the customer service was amazing! They talked story with us, asked tons of questions about what we wanted in each order since everything is made to order. Here's what we got: 1. Beef Nachos: we ordered the small portion but this was HUGE! It has cheese, choice of beef or chicken, onions, cilantro, & sour cream. My hubby loves nacho cheese so he loved this! There was a generous portion of beef on top too. 2. Cheese Quesadilla: this was actually a kids quesadilla but it was definitely a regular sized one! It was simple with just cheese & tortilla but, they did not skimp on the cheese. It was THICK! 3. Chicken Burrito: this was definitely the star of the show! It was HUGE! Hubby and I shared it and couldn't finish it. It was stuffed with pico, flavorful chicken, cheese, sour cream, beans & rice. It was messy but sooo good! Highly recommend! Overall, it's dangerous how often and close they are to where we live! We'll definitely be back! read more

HOH TALK ABOUT MAYJAHHHHH! First time here but was told these Braddahs come to Ho'opili every Thursday. I was kind of skeptical from ordering, since most restaurants In Hawaii that serve Mexican food, kind of give less than what it's truly worth. So I asked the local braddah "is it a lot?" And he assured me that if I'm not satisfied he would fully refund me. So I waited..... when I was called he showed me my order- carne Asada fries, and let me tell you... it can feed more than a family of 4. I never got his name but my bro, for serving great customer service along w great food. read more

I literally would drive anywhere on the island if i crave a burrito or quesadilla! His prices honestly match up so well to the portions he gives you ! Ron is a super awesome dude ! I've eaten here so many times, i can't even count ! I'm always recommending people to try him out even if the drive might be far for them it's surely worth it ! I'm not sure what that dude who put that 1 star was smoking bc he's the only dude who put a 1 star and that's the only review he put up, so you can't even trust home boy, he just a hater. From the first time i met Ron, he was nothing but nice and even gave us free samples if he had extra of something ! And i've been going here for a long as* time ! P.S Bet you can't finish his burrito by yourself in one sitting & also try to get his catfish ! read more

Holy cow these tacos are unreal. Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday, they were located at Geiger Park in Ewa Beach. Had one steak and one chicken taco. Really great flavor. You need to get the red and green sauces. Tacos are good size and priced at $4 each. I'm definitely coming back for more tacos and I want to try the rice and beans! read more

Fatman's Haven Catering - Chicken and steak tacos, get the sauces! - Caterers Near Me

My oh my...where do I start. Been following this guy on Instagram and finally ran into him at Waiau field. Had people waiting there before he even showed up. I jumped in line and watched orders go out. He works alone so expect a short wait...because it's so worth it. Ordered the steak burrito with everything, 3 steak tacos plate, and a bowl of shrimp ceviche. First, he was passing out samples of his ceviche while he set up. This thing had me sold. It was plump shrimp with really great flavor combined with the crunch of the cucumbers and onions. My son devoured the 3 steak tacos that came with Spanish rice and beans. Steak burrito was probably 2lbs. I could only finish half. The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor by itself. It's definitely a multi-meal burrito. The steak went well with the rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, and his hot sauce. Would highly recommend this guys food! read more

We're from the Bay Area and we have seen Farman's Haven all over social media. We made it a point to go try his food when we went out to Hawaii on vacation. The owner was so nice! Best customer service ever. He was patient with us when my family and I were trying to figure out what to order. Once we decided, it didn't take long to get our food. Very generous portions! Food and ingredients were fresh! The balance of all the ingredients were put together nicely and we tried to go back another time before our vacation ended, but unfortunately, time was not on our side. The food was so comforting. When eating it, you can feel it was made with aloha. Next time I'm back in Hawaii, I will make sure to eat here again. read more

I am so glad that this food truck is in my area and an easy stop on those lazy nights. The tacos are delicious but my fave is the nachos. The portion is generous and his spicy sauce is delicious with the right amount of heat for me. read more

We tried Fatman's Haven for the first time after seeing the truck at Geiger Park in Ewa Beach many times. The gentleman who helped us (I'm assuming was the owner) was very friendly and attentive. He greeted us upon arrival, asked if we had any questions, and took our order all while cooking a large order from the customers ahead of us. There was a bit of a wait, but was totally understandable as the order ahead of us was quite large. He was very mindful about sanitation and let us pay the same time as the previous customers and explained he didn't want to handle money and food closely simultaneously. The menu was very simple- tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. We got the steak burrito. It came with rice, beans, avocado sauce, sour cream, tomatoes, and onions. It was DELICIOUS! Every component melded perfectly with the others and yet, you could test each one. The rice was fluffy and well seasoned. The steak was flavorful, juicy and tender. The tomatoes and onions added great fresh taste and texture. The avocado sauce added a nice acidity and slight spice and the sour cream added a pleasant creaminess. The tortilla was seared nicely to keep its shape and provided a nice crunch. The salsa (given on the side) was very pleasant and kicked up the heat just a bit. We paid $15 for the burrito and my husband and I split it and were FULL...like on the verge of discomfort (mostly because I lack self control and wanted to keep eating because it tasted so good). This thing is delicious and gigantic! Since following Fatman's Haven on Instagram, I've seen that they have specials (including the very popular birria tacos). They also have Taco Tuesdays where you can get regular menu items for discounted prices. I'm not sure if the Taco Tuesday specials are the same every week. One week I believe the burrito runs for $13 instead of its usual $15). We will definitely be back! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. read more

The Rastaman is very patient and kind, and the food is very greasy good! One negative though is I watched as the kid who took an order would turn to scooping the salsa w his hands, with the same gloves that he used to take orders and hold the Parmesan bottle. The wait is also dreadfully long, like 30 mins from placing your order. However, if you're not in a rush, it is worth the wait. read more

Great food and customer service! Great location on festival street on Thursday evenings!

The food is amazing and the portions are big. No joke when he calls it "fatman's haven." I have never eaten a quesadilla and been full after, but this man provides a stuff filled one that tastes amazing. read more

This dude's food is basically my fetish. If "you are what you eat" was literal, I'd be the best food on the island. It's way too much food every time, and I will eat every last mf bite. I would participate in one of Jigsaw's puzzles for a plate of food from Fatman's Haven. Everything is perfect every time. I have and will gladly travel 40 minutes on a random Tuesday for a plate of nachos, but luckily sometimes he comes by my neck of the woods. I have a date with a plate tonight, and I am excited for nothing else in this universe like I am going to get Fatman's. The thought of giving birth to my first child next month doesn't even compare to this food. read more

He catered a birthday party in ewa beach. Best mexican street food I had in awhile. Good size portions and very tasty.

I've eaten his food twice. Amazing and awesome. Consistently delicious. One of my favorite places to eat.

The owner is so nice! Also generous. Me and my fiancé came late to get tacos after they were already closing and packing up. He told us that if we wanted tacos he would make them. And he even through in 2 extra tacos just because it took him a bit to make it. These are the best street tacos I've had on the island. I'm from Texas so I know a good street taco. And the green salsa is amazing! read more

This place has amaaaaazing tacos! We got the steak tacos and they were very good size portions and the steak was perfectly seasoned. The owner is super nice, really glad we stopped. He's parked outside Creekside in Kailua Sunday and Monday nights. Come check him out, the tacos are on point! read more

Although the food was delicious, the employee was very rude and short with us. I'm not one to write a review on yelp, but my experience with this lunch wagon was bad enough to do so. read more

Fatman's Haven is the best kept secret on the Island! They offer authentic Mexican style food that I can never get enough of. If you are anything like me, then you crave Mexican food all the time. Problem is, I can never find a place that checks off all the boxes. Somehow I always end up going to Taco Bell for some processed crap that makes me regret life after.. I urge you to give Fatman's Haven a try, you will not regret it. Fresh ingredients, cheap, authentic, ono, the list goes on and on. You can find them at various Farmer's Markets like the one at Kapolei Lofts and Kapilina Beach Homes. Hands down, best tacos on the Island! 10/10 stars read more

Used Randy and his Fatman's Food truck for my grandson's graduation party and it was a huge success! First of all, to have your own food truck for your party is pretty unique, you have to admit, so everyone thought that was pretty cool and creative. But none of that would have meant much if the food wasn't good, right? Well the food was GREAT! The burrito is ginormous and delicious, the street tacos are super flavorful, and the quesadillas were super huge and tasty. Everyone was full and very satisfied and wanted to use Fatman's for their next party!! Thank you, Randy, for helping to make our gathering a success and for your aloha throughout the process. read more

Today, Ron made some Jambalaya. It was the perfect blend of flavor and heat. I wish that he made more "Southern" dishes.

I reached out to Ronald to help me host a party at the Pleasant Hill Park in June. He was quick to return my calls and was very accommodating. He even went out of his way to provide a tasting prior to the event. He made the meats for the Tacos right on site. The salsas were amazing and fresh tasting. He was easy to work with and everyone was happy with the food. His pricing was very reasonable and perfect for my event at the park. read more
