# Terrible Customer Service - Avoid This Place…read more **1 out of 5 stars** I had the worst experience at Andrade Auto Repair in Everett, MA today. Arrived at 5:00 PM and immediately got off to a bad start when they made me move my car around without explanation. The employees were completely unhelpful - when I asked about getting four tires done, they dismissed me saying they "don't have time" even though there were two people working on tires and another just moving inventory around instead of helping customers. When I went inside to speak with the owner about the poor service, his attitude was absolutely horrible. He's clearly not cut out to be a businessman. Without even knowing what transpired outside (since he was in his office the whole time), he told me I need to "be nice to his employees" if I want help. He had no idea what his staff had said to me or how they treated me. The final straw was when I simply asked an employee to check if they had my tire size in stock so I could potentially come back the next day - and was told "I don't even have time to check." Completely unprofessional from top to bottom. The owner has terrible management skills and clearly doesn't care about customer service. His employees follow his lead with their dismissive attitudes. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else for tires. This is the worst tire shop I've ever encountered. I will never be back and will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place. **Andrade Auto Repair - Everett, MA: AVOID AT ALL COSTS**

I replaced the bumper with an OEM part and decided to give High Street Garage a try as Eric down at Pete's Garage has spoken highly of them when I have asked about Inspections in the past. I drove down there and saw an older man with white hair in the open inspection bay. I walked up, said hi and asked if they were doing inspections. He must have seen me drive in with the "R" sticker. He immediately started in on me saying he would not inspect the vehicle and I should go back to where it was initially inspected. I just asked why he wouldn't do the inspection and he just got louder and said "if I didn't repair it, I won't re inspect it." It was an OEM bumper for christ sakes, and it took me all of 2 hours to remove and replace. This was the first time I have had a vehicle rejected so I was not aware of the need to go back to the original inspection station. I would have thought that since these are State Inspections, the process would be uniform across all service stations. It looked to me like he was having a bad Monday and decided to give a bit of that attitude to me. I'll cross this station off my list. Not the way to treat a person or a potential customer.

I agreed to the price and waited 4 weeks for the part to come in and the repair to be completed. They then charged me $1500. for that repair, handed me the paperwork after they had swiped my cc through the machine. I immediately told them I was over charged, I had been quoted $1000. for the intake manifold repair. The tech Brian told me I would have to discuss with Mark, who wasn't there. I've left letters in the drop box and left vm messages, no one returns my calls. (They did work on another vehicle of mine 2 years ago, almost $4K worth of work on Chevy Colorado.) No longer giving them any more business. Update after speaking with Mark the owner, 5/8/2024. Mark called a few days after I picked up the vehicle. Claims the "repair was a nightmare". All kinds of rust on the intake manifold bolts, 6 of the 8 bolts were rusted out and broke when he tried to remove them. He said the job should have taken him 3 hours but instead it took him 9 hours.(Really???) I told him as a customer who was given an estimate of $1000. for a repair only to be charged 50% more, I was not happy, he should have had a better idea of the condition of the vehicle and the cost to repair (Initially, I had left the vehicle at the shop, he looked the vehicle over and also diagnosed the check engine code issue and that it needed an intake manifold.) I told him given the estimate of $1000., then overcharge of $500., he had lost a customer.
