I keep receiving bills, phone calls & emails! We may bed here a little over a year ago. Our home is new. I've never called or used their services. I've made several requests to please discontinue contacting me. Not sure what to do! read more

I don't like the FACT------- A-1 Termite & Pest Control sold my personal information to numerous companies who now have all my banking, credit ratings, card numbers and SS #, etc. The technicians seem to be great at their jobs, but the way A-1 Termite & Pest control conducts their business practices are dishonest and downright greedy. Never will I do business with a company who sell my personal info to vendors to make money. read more

We've been using A-1 on a regular schedule for our mountain cabin and couldn't be happier. The treatments are effective, the communication is great, billing/email/etc. and the techs who come out are excellent. As friendly and knowledgeable as can be, neat and efficient, always introduce themselves and spend as much or as little time as needed - they can work invisibly or are willing to answer questions. The office is responsive as well. Recommend to anyone who asks us! read more

We make an appointment and make sure someone is there at the time agreed on. The tech sends info to office and they fail to schedule. No one shows up and no one calls. No problem we will not be using A-1 in the future. read more

We have trusted A-1 to provide consistent, effective, and reliable pest control at our woodsy vacation home in Beech Mt. for several years. Have a quarterly service plan, but when issues arise and we notice more bug or spider activity before our service is due, all it takes is simple call to this company and they respond quickly with what they refer to as a "call back"; notably, we have never been charged an additional fee for this, and it's just part of their great customer service. Pricing is competitive and reasonable for the value we receive, and like most companies they will give you a 2 hour window for their service tech's arrival. From the customer service reps to the service techs, their employees have always been both polite and very respectful of our property. read more

Just hoping my experiences can help others before choosing to use this company or not. We contacted A-1 for their pest services. Since we live in a wooded area & near a lake, we have some issues with spiders. $179 for the first spray and this was to include "de-webbing" (knocking down spider webs around the house) then $99 after. A day after the first spray, we had a large spider that built a new web at the basement door and no webs cleaned off the house. We contacted the company & they did in fact send someone back out quickly. The webs were cleaned off, however the person who came out chose to spray the glass on almost all our windows. This caused their spray to run down the windows & make a mess. I'll be cleaning windows on my only day off. Contacted the company & explained what happened. I told the receptionist that I wanted to cancel the service due to two bad experiences on the very first spray. Definitely not rude, but I was surprised the receptionist acted like she couldn't care less about the issue. Just came back online & said it was cancelled. I guess we're in the times where customer service is becoming extinct. read more

I have been using A-1 Termite & Pest Control for my house in Boone since 2016. I originally called after moving in to my home that had numerous stink bugs indoors, ants near the kitchen window, and spiders and spider eggs on the ceiling of the back porch. #No. They quickly serviced my house, indoor and out, and have continued doing so on a quarterly basis since. Since the very first time they came in Summer 2016, I literally have not had one single bug in my home, besides a fly if I've left the door open. Since I am no longer experiencing indoor pests, I am set up now so that my technician, Tim Norman, comes and take care of the outdoor areas only (so that I don't have to be home to let him in) and my account is automatically drafted for the service. If I ever experience a bug or pest concern indoors, I can always call Tim personally to help me free of charge. I have only had to use this service once, and this was in relation to there being a giant, scary spider haunting the indoor of my mailbox down on the side of the street, far away from my house. The spider even jumped on my friend's arm!!!... and then continued to reside in the mailbox afterwards! #NoThankYou. After days of avoiding collecting my mail, I finally called A-1 and, within the week, my exterminator Tim came and removed him for me. :) I would highly recommend this service to anyone who has a place with bugs and who is not willing to personally spray or capture or otherwise deal with them personally. read more

Bought a home that needed pest control. The first appointment, the technician was 2 hours late which was inconvenient and caused me to be late to work. My husband tried to call back and schedule a 2nd appointment and was told both times we would receive a call back w/ an appointment. We never received the call back. 4 months later, we called again and got an appointment. The day of the appointment, my husband received a call 15 mins after the appointment time. They wanted to cancel appointment and reschedule due to the technician calling out. I understand things do happen to cause rescheduling but overall we have had the run around and our time wasted with this company. They offered to reschedule for the following week and "work on the rate" for us. We decided to decline and go w/ another company. With a New baby in the home and having to remove everything out of our kitchen, it was just another inconvenience. Wish this company well. read more

We have been using A1 Termite & Pest Control for several years and they are so efficient and courteous! We couldn't be happier with their service or their staff! I wouldn't want to work with anyone else! Our service person is Ben and he is so nice and helpful!! If I tell him of an area where we are having problems, he works so hard to eliminate the problem and then, on each subsequent trip, he checks those areas to be sure he keeps the problems away! Overall, A1 is a great company to do business with! read more

A-1 Pest Control is a Do Not Trust Company. They quote you a price on what you want to be done and when the guy comes and does "some what" requested work. He then marks up the price. Stating that the main office Do Not know the correct way to quote customers. If you like wasting your money and get a half Ass job done, then these are the people you should hire!!!! Also today I received a Bill that states my pass due!!! I paid the bill the same day as the service with my credit card. These people our a bunch of nuts!!! read more

I needed an inspection pretty fast for a refinance. They came through and were fantastic. Charged me the exacted quoted price and didnt try to sell me a bunch of stuff that I didnt need. This is why I come back to them time and time again. read more

Very disappointed after two years of annual inspections, they won't even return my calls and won't explain what's going on. They never called when they were supposed to in order to schedule the annual inspections, requiring me to have to call them months after the anniversary date to get them to come out. That's NOT the way to do business!! read more

I agree with the reviewer who said he could not understand how anyone could give this company anything less than a perfect review. I have been using A-1 for years; last fall I hired the company to clear up a longstanding bat problem. It has been a huge and long process, and the men have been to my house numerous times since the initial clean-out to follow up. They are always courteous, neat, patient and spend as much time as needed. This is one of the best companies I have ever used!!! Mary S. read more
