They have a moisture problem. Both elevators on my side I need to get to my unit are broken and could not get up to my unit. So it's not ADA compliant. They also do not have carts for you to use. They also have been playing a fun little game charging us $12 for not receiving my proof of renters insurance which I have provided multiple times. This facility is ran so poorly. Your stuff gets so dirty and they could care less to take care of their property. We are planning to get out as soon as possible. Even though I informed management right away they didn't fix the drywall nor did they call an exterminator. I was forced to buy mice traps and mice deterrent boxes. The results were disgusting, lots of mice were caught on the sticky traps. The negligence of this property is just beyond words. They shouldn't have rented the units to me in the condition they are. The drywall is falling apart providing an entry point, the units weren't even cleaned properly although they claimed they cleaned them, the facility is infested with mice and poorly maintained. On top of that they double the rates every 3 months for what?? The units are falling apart, dilapidated, dark and dingy; it's a very old facility with very little upgrades. I would strongly advise against storing anything at this facility because I can't stress enough that the entire facility is infested with mice which is a health hazard; mice carry hantavirus and the plague. I am assuming that all my belongings are going to be damaged due to this. This is god awful for anyone to go through. There isn't anything positive I can say here. I spent thousands moving my stuff into this storage facility.

This place is amazing. I never would have imagined that something as mundane as renting a storage could be so great. We were helped by Jaren, who was incredible. He made what would usually be boring really fun. He had my usually stoic and reserved Marine husband laughing out loud, and had my four year old son, usually a terror, riveted. He also didn't bat an eye when my son asked to try on his glasses. He made us feel like old friends, and we know our locker is safe. We rented storage during my husband's last deployment and the staff was unkempt and always seemed uninterested in the patrons. Jaren was well put together, clean cut, and attentive. He walked us out to our locker, explained how the gate and elevators worked, and took his time answering all of my husband's questions about the contract, even with the phone ringing off the hook. We really got first star treatment, and Jaren went above and beyond our expectations. The grounds are clean, the staff is great, and we're really happy with our transaction. read more

Eileen and and her facility are a god send!! I recently had a nightmare of and experience with rat/mouse infestation and feces in unit I was renting at another storage facility in Oceanside. After speaking with Eileen and giving her a run down of my recent traumatic history, she not only took the time to reassure me that I needed to rent with her and provided me with different options, unit sizes and cost effective pricing. she showed me several different units and even gave me some advice on the time frames for cancelling my other nightmare unit and scheduling for moving over to A-1. On Move in day, Eileen even came over and checked in on me and asked me how it was going. she didn't have to do that.. it's not her job, but this is what sets her apart from the others.. I have been storing my things at this specific A1 for a couple years now on an off. STEVE AND BILLY, the two guys that run the place do an outstanding job. They are always friendly, knowledgeable and do whatever they can to help. They have reserved specific storage spaces for me as close to the top of the stairs as possible to make it easily accessible, helped me with fees, helped me find someone to help move the heavy furniture, given me water, among other things that have been super helpful. They make a true effort to remember all their customers, provide friendly service with a smile and follow up with you about payments and anything else you might need. Once again Billy has come to the rescue. His friendly demeanor and perseverance to satisfy me the customer is overwhelming. I suppose that's why this is my third time back. This was one of the easiest experiences I have had getting a storage unit. When we walked in everything looked clean and well kept, first impression was professional. We were greeted by Billy and he was great. He heard what we needed and even though they didn't have the unit size we wanted his help in determining other options was awesome. We never felt pressure and he offered lots of options, even calling around to other locations for the size we wanted. OMG! Rent from this place! Both Billy and Jeran are awesome and SOOOOO very helpful. I didn't realize the office hours and unfortunately arrived an hour early. Not only that, 2 of my incredibly helpful neighbors were there with me in their trucks with additional truckloads of MY stuff. OH MY! Not to worry! Just opened a storage unit for my husbands over flow of work supplies and had one of the easiest and quickest transaction with Billy. He was awesome! I had my 4yr daughter with me and right off the bat he gave her paper and markers and an action figure to keep her entertained while we did the paper work. These guys were very helpful. The moment my girlfriend and I walked in they greeted us with enthusiasm and respect. Other storage places nearby were more concerned with selling me the most premium unit just to make money. But these guys were the first to actually ask what I needed and help me get an idea of what unit best suited my needs. In the end, I purchased a 5x10 walk up unit that is perfect. Recently my truck was broken into while I was in Mexico and my purse along with all of my credit cards in my bank card were stolen. This made it impossible for me to pay my storage bill when it came due. I had been on auto pay, but once the cards were killed, that was no longer relevant. Andre went way out of his way to call and remind me that the bill was due, he even let me know how many days I had to work with before a late charge would be assessed once I realize that I wasn't going to be able to use my bank card in time he immediately sent me a form which was super easy to fill out online, allowing my bank account to be linked to my auto pay, and the funds were immediately available so that my items in storage were safe and sound Andre followed up with me to make sure that I had it done if I needed any help he was there for me and just overall compassionate and understanding!
