This place is amazing. I never would have imagined that something as mundane as renting a storage could be so great. We were helped by Jaren, who was incredible. He made what would usually be boring really fun. He had my usually stoic and reserved Marine husband laughing out loud, and had my four year old son, usually a terror, riveted. He also didn't bat an eye when my son asked to try on his glasses. He made us feel like old friends, and we know our locker is safe. We rented storage during my husband's last deployment and the staff was unkempt and always seemed uninterested in the patrons. Jaren was well put together, clean cut, and attentive. He walked us out to our locker, explained how the gate and elevators worked, and took his time answering all of my husband's questions about the contract, even with the phone ringing off the hook. Eileen and and her facility are a god send!! I recently had a nightmare of and experience with rat/mouse infestation and feces in unit I was renting at another storage facility in Oceanside. After speaking with Eileen and giving her a run down of my recent traumatic history, she not only took the time to reassure me that I needed to rent with her and provided me with different options, unit sizes and cost effective pricing. she showed me several different units and even gave me some advice on the time frames for cancelling my other nightmare unit and scheduling for moving over to A-1. I have been storing my things at this specific A1 for a couple years now on an off. STEVE AND BILLY, the two guys that run the place do an outstanding job. They are always friendly, knowledgeable and do whatever they can to help. They have reserved specific storage spaces for me as close to the top of the stairs as possible to make it easily accessible, helped me with fees, helped me find someone to help move the heavy furniture, given me water, among other things that have been super helpful. They make a true effort to remember all their customers, provide friendly service with a smile and follow up with you about payments and anything else you might need. This was one of the easiest experiences I have had getting a storage unit. When we walked in everything looked clean and well kept, first impression was professional. We were greeted by Billy and he was great. He heard what we needed and even though they didn't have the unit size we wanted his help in determining other options was awesome. OMG! Rent from this place! Both Billy and Jeran are awesome and SOOOOO very helpful. I didn't realize the office hours and unfortunately arrived an hour early. Not only that, 2 of my incredibly helpful neighbors were there with me in their trucks with additional truckloads of MY stuff. OH MY! Not to worry! Just opened a storage unit for my husbands over flow of work supplies and had one of the easiest and quickest transaction with Billy. He was awesome! I had my 4yr daughter with me and right off the bat he gave her paper and markers and an action figure to keep her entertained while we did the paper work.
