For the most part, compared to other laundry mats within a 15 minute drive all directions, 9th street Coin Laundry is clean, safe and convenient to wash your clothes. You pay the machine with your Apple Pay on your cellphone and can add additional time. However, your total wash time will not exceed 45 minutes. Dryer: get hot, you do have to run the machine 2 or 3 times to get fully dry for up to 0.75. The machines are a decent size. Cons- this is the same with nearly all of the businesses- there is not a restroom open at all times for you to use. There is a chicken spot next door and it's located downtown if bathroom at chicken spot not available!!! read more

Our laundry at our place was having issues so we had to come to a laundromat. Of course I yelped for a place & this came up so I went. Unfortunately it was dirty,many of the washers were not working, the card reader was not working on all four of my washers so I had to use quarters instead, and had to go get cash. There was no signs on broken machines either. One washer had a major leak with water coming out of the bottom. It was not a good experience. The only positive was the dryers worked well. read more

The area is nice as well they have plenty of laundry carts and money exchange machines as well as tap to pay which is convenient. If I can give this place no stars I would , I've lived here in downtown upland 10 years and know all the business owners and I also work here in the city . Coming to this laundry was never an issue unfortunately lately there has been back to back issues the two ladies mom and daughter are always rushing people out and if you arrive there at 8 pm even though it says at the door last load is at 8:30 pm they still remind you in a rude manner that you have limited time they even mention the laundromat that is on San Antonio being 24 hrs to go there . Pretty rude and very annoying if you ask me it's like I already had my clothes in washer and the younger lady comes up to me to tell me the washers are not going to work and the washer might leave my clothes soaked . I told her it's ok I'll take my chances I mean my clothes were already there inside the washer , I told her then why not put a notice on the door so people would know . She said I just recommend you to go to the other laundromat it's 24 hrs . I still had plenty of time but the pressure and stress I went through was not worth it I will not be coming here at all and not that I think it would make a difference to the business but oh how uncomfortable situation to be going through when your already doing a chore already wanting to do it as fast and effective as possible but it's not possible with 2 people staring at you and making comments to other customers about the times and the Danielle kept passing by saying things in between her teeth that they were about to close rushing my husband and I . Unfortunately there is not much anyone can do if you want to complaint there is a number at the door but guess what ??? The one place I absolutely do not recommend. Aside from the washers not working correctly. Come here and you'll have the most disrespectful worker named Daniel. Last load is at 830pm supposedly only to be told to get lost at 815pm. I came in to do a load only to be told to go some else, in the rudest way. Aside from that I called And texted the owner supposedly and I get no response. Why is this so called employee named Daniel who clearly doesn't want to be here still here. So far I've seen her disrespect 3 customers because they're complaining about the machines not working and she's telling them to go elsewhere. Just moved to a new spot with no washer and dryer. I've been coming here for a month now with no complaints! But tonight i started my load at 8:15. Last load is at 8:30. So it got done at about 8:40. As I'm pulling my clothes out of the washer, the worker told me they close at nine. (instead of ten which is on the door.) So my clothes didn't have enough time to dry. I wouldn't have even started a load if I had known that. There was no sign on the door or anything. Now I had to leave with damp clothes. Very inconvenient and unacceptable. read more

This location is probably one of the nicest laundromats I've been to in my lifetime. There's some parking spots in front (in downtown Upland) and plenty of parking behind the location (with a backside entry door). There are a lot of dryer and washer units with a sink for customer use, seating for waiting, and tables to fold your clothes at. The location is well-maintained and there is typically an on-site Manager available during normal business hours and on the weekends. My fiancé and I used just the dryers to take the wrinkles out of tablecloths we had bought for our wedding. It was $.25 per 8 minutes to dry and the units we used worked perfectly. Why did I deduct one star? The on-site manager who was on duty the Sunday afternoon that we visited shared that the bathrooms are locked because people go in there to do drugs. While I appreciate the candidness and proactiveness, that's probably not something you want to scare your customers away with. I guess no laundromat is safe... read more

I came here Tuesday around noon to wash a few of my oversized blankets and sleeping bag. I rarely go to a laundromat and I was told this place has some big washers and dryers, so I gave it a shot. My first impression was this place is clean, organized and bright light at every corners. It was not too busy so I could pick and choose the washers and dryers. I was amazed they have great equipment (the attendant told me many of them were brand new, just added this year.) The prices were reasonable too (usually new machines would charge so much, but I was happy with what I paid.) Oh by the way, the coin changer worked great, it took my $10 and $20 bills, no issues at all. Nice vibes, great conversation with the attendant, and at the end I met the owner and his nephew, they offered me a free cold drink from the vending machine and yeah it was a hot day so I accepted it. I will definitely come back here more often, not only for my big blankets, but I'm thinking to do my laundry routinely in a bulk and finish everything in less than 2 hours compared to small washer and dryer at home, I will be saving so much time and energy throughout the week. The cutest laundromat I've ever seen. I've never gone to one just because they all look so sketchy and dirty. But this one is neat, inviting, and such nice people around. Hey even have nice wooden tables to fold on and a flat built in tv screen. The whole esthetic is just really nice. I came in between the times they do drop off services but next time I'll definitely take advantage. That is the smartest business to have I feel like. Especially in this neighborhood, it's filled with busy business people who don't have time to do laundry so I think it's smart and convenient. I want to really like this laundromat. My washer and dryer is not working currently so I came here to do my laundry. Its clean for the most part and there are a wide variety of washers. My first time here a pillowcase from my duvet and from my sheet set was taken. Just ONE from each. Very annoying. I was upset but also wanted a new duvet and sheets so pressed on and called it a freak accident. Second time in the morning one of the workers was there, all I did was a single load of laundry and all was well. Third time here and I only have two matching grey towels that I very much liked. ONE TOWEL VANISHED INTO THIN FRIKIN AIR! I watched my washers the entire time. I watched my dryers the entire time. THE SPLIT SECOND MY BACK WAS TURNED, is most likely when my towel was taken. (Btw I live alone in a studio so I know when my towel is missing okay) I cannot return to this laundromat. I made sure to double check each washer and dryer. I can't believe I'd have to take inventory while switching washers and dryers to make sure no one takes my belongings. And even if I knew then who would I even confront? I'm a young woman! I'm not going to tousle in a laundromat. There should be an attendant present at all times. I am absolutely disappointed and my day has been ruined. I know the owners can't help who goes to launder, but even a security presence should have to contribute to a lessening of theft. Absolutely ludicrous. PS. to whom it may concern, I was there today 5/22/2019 at around 5 PM and I am in a black hoodie and black leggings with a teal laundry basket. There is nothing worst than a business not promising what they claim to promise. For the last 5 years this laundromat has been my local spot. I have seen it exchange business owners and I give credit to the new owner whom has done a fabulous job in bringing it back to life. However, I consider myself a "regular" amongst other regulars whom we always start our wash between 6am - 7am. The establishment promotes its start time at 6am weekdays & weekends. However, that's far from the truth. There front door does not open until past 7am! Folks this is important, we all have our routines and we schedule our day around laundry time and getting up early to get a head start just to be denied at the front the door it's unacceptable. It appears that the front door facing 9th St to be magnetically locked and timed. Folks, the door should open seamlessly at 6am as stated on your front window! I have called the business phone line about a week ago to inquire and no one has return my call. Business is about customer service and keeping your promises. And looked like most the dryers were working as well!! My dryer broke this afternoon so I had to come and dry my comforter, they close at 8 and they have a little boy working the front, first he blow his vape in my face as he screamed at me not to go in. I didn't believe that we worked there because he was just hanging out with all his friends so walked in. I tried telling him I just need to dry my comforter and he threatened to kick me out. Nice laundromat. First one I've ever been in. I came in the afternoon and it was practically empty, which was very nice. I love even more it's just down the street from my place so it's so convenient to come by! Only one small downside, me not being in a laundromat before I didn't know what I had to do, I didn't see anyone that looked like they were "in charge".
