The food and service were amazing. My waiter was very nice and on top of things. Was welcomed by a manager as well and asked if everything was to my liking. They also comped my dessert since it was my birthday. The ambiance is amazing, very high end western look with cow house stools and copper tables at the high tops. Prices are not near as much as you'd expect. Definitely will return!

I had a wonderful experience here for the Christmas Day brunch with my family. Everything from the service to the food was exceptional. The hotel is immaculately decorated for Christmas during this time of year which is such a magical ambiance. We booked the brunch a month in advance via Open Table as we were staying in the hotel for Christmas Eve. Our table was ready upon arrival and the food was brought out promptly once we placed our orders. They have a prix fixe menu so, you pay a set cost for three courses. I ordered the pickled deviled eggs and lobster omelette. Both were wonderful. In fact, it was so much food, we had to take our leftovers and the last course to-go! My husband and I enjoyed the experience so much, we plan to return for other celebrations. Our waiter Avery was training and amazing! He really made the experience extra special. Our table was a little wobbly and he quickly fixed it. He was also super attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Had a great birthday dinner, the steaks were top notch perfect medium rare the tomahawk was very delicate will say a lot of fat in it but was worth it , service was great there was a tornado watch in the area offered some comfort that they had a cellar to evacuate to if needed, drinks were very well put for the night !

I've always wanted to go into the Dover Hotel because it's so beautiful, and I always see people having a hoot on their back patio. A visit to 97 West Kitchen & Bar was just the excuse I needed! It's gorgeous inside -- the vibe is cozy and cute -- and it was surprisingly busy for a Thursday evening. I had the fried green tomatoes and the steak and tomatoes "salad." I say "salad" in quotes because, although it's listed under salads, my waitress immediately told me it doesn't actually come with greens (though she said I could add lettuce if I wanted, lol). Nevertheless, it was wonderful! I loved the pickled onions, blue cheese, and sweet bread croutons -- and the fried green tomatoes came topped with pickled beets, which was such a nice touch. Our server was lovely, and overall it was a delightful experience. I can't wait to go back -- maybe next time I'll sit out on that patio!

This restaurant is the best of the best. We also had steaks and they were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and created a welcoming environment. The low lighting and decor made for great ambience.

Must get bacon!!!!

I came here with my family on my birthday and it was nothing short of amazing. Started off with the bacon...drippings over jalapeño cornbread...how can it get more Texas than that?! We were there for lunch so I got the Wagyu tri tip for my entree. Moist and perfectly cooked. The ambiance was perfect especially in January right after the holidays. Gorgeous Christmas decorations everywhere. Our waiter was very attentive. We did valet instead of parking in the Stockyards parking lot which is well worth it as we walked around town after lunch. Highly recommend this spot especially if you're visiting from out of town!!!

We had this place in our bucket list for while and I'm so glad we finally pulled the trigger and tried it. We had a recreation and got seated right away upon checking in. From the moment we sat down to when we laid the service was fantastic! Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed as well as gave us some great recommendations to try. The food itself was incredible- my personal favorite was the ribeye steak which was perfectly cooked and tender. The whole restaurant has such a great vibe and is beautifully decorated. It's perfect for date night or family dinner --10/10 recommend trying!!

What a fantastic place - they had everything : great food , atmosphere , decor you name it. We shared some appetizers (the cheese and meat platter was excellent ) and for entry I got the New York steak which came in perfectly medium cooked . Meat quality felt very high . The cocktails (old fashioned ) were very good as well . It a cheap place but if you want a classic place in the old western decor that's the place for you !

Corn Beef Hash Benedict

This place has good points and bad points. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. Our waitress was really good even though she was a little green. You can tell she was trained well. Had the Corn Beef Hash Benedict and the Ranch Hand Breakfast. The Ranch Hand was really good with nicely cooked scrambled eggs, perfect bacon and very good pepper gravy. The Corn Beef Hash Benedict was a good with a nice hollandaise, and the potatoes were incredibly good. My only knock on this place is the biscuits are incredibly dry. The fact that tops and bottoms were brown but not crispy is a sign they had been sitting in a warmer for to long. This place is a decent place for breakfast, hopefully they fix the biscuits.

Absolutely love this place! Located inside the Drover Hotel at the Stockyards, this restaurant is an experience from start to finish. The food is incredible--especially the charcuterie board, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. I also tried their spicy margarita and it might just be the best I've ever had--perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick. Parking can be a bit tricky in the area, but they do offer valet, which makes things much easier. Between the atmosphere, the service, and the unforgettable food and drinks, this spot has easily become one of my favorites in Fort Worth. Highly recommend!

My girl friends and I had to try out this swanky restaurant in our hotel! Breakfast charcuterie board so fun and great for sharing! Yummy as well! Cinnamon roll was gooey and delicous as well. Great service and ambiance.

Tostadas

The food, ambiance and service were 10/10! Highly recommended, we went for brunch on a Sunday!! I had the tostadas and let me tell you...flavor explosion, your tastebuds will thank you! Also a must try is the sweet & spicy bacon served clothesline style over a mini loaf of jalapeño cornbread!

Within the first 10 minutes you forget because you reach for the phone that's not in your pocket out of habit to take a photo of your food. Instead, you actually slow down, taking in the look and smell of the food while having a real, uninterrupted conversation with the person across from you. And the food? So good it made me forget I couldn't take a picture of it--which says everything. Every bite was a "wait, try this" moment. The staff was amazing (specifically Iberia and Milosh) who made the experience above and beyond. The vibe was intentional, and for once, no one at the table was half-present and half-scrolling. 10/10 would willingly give up my phone again... which is something I never thought I'd say.

That's on us. However, we still couldn't find any mention of it on the website or through Google reservations. I was eventually able to locate something via AI, though I'm not sure where it sourced the information. Even then, the guidance wasn't very clear beyond jackets being required downstairs for men; the rest felt open to interpretation. My girlfriend's high school sophomore daughter and her friend were clearly not within Caterina's standards. The manager was initially reluctant but ultimately agreed to seat us upstairs, which we appreciated. We respected his decision either way. My impression is that, with it being 88 degrees and humid, the weekend crowds in the Stockyards may have overwhelmed the staff, with many frustrated customers being turned away. It was evident by 6:00 p.m. that the staff and manager were already frustrated--we likely added to that, and then Megan and A.J.'s group came in right after us. Again, our fault. I do hope the manager's attitude isn't meant to reflect a New York/Paris-style "rude" persona implemented by Tim Love. If that's the case, that's his prerogative--perhaps he believes that kind of edge enhances the fine dining experience. Otherwise, I'd suggest a more Texas-style approach: we don't do rude here; we do "bless your heart" without offending anyone. There's no need to offend for the sake of it. As for the food and overall dining experience, it was good. In most places around DFW, if this were simply positioned as solid Italian food at around $40 per person, it would likely receive consistently strong reviews. However, Caterina carries higher expectations given Tim Love's reputation--this feels like an attempt to "level up," and that raises the bar. The meal started strong with the sausage and peppers, wild mushrooms, and caprese. The ravioli, however, tasted more like Chef Boyardee. The roasted bass was okay. The jumbo shrimp was very good, though that's a dish that's hard to get wrong. The veal parm was average. I'd suggest trying the branzino at Truluck's (even as a chain, it sets a higher standard). The potato frico was outstanding. Overall, the main courses seemed to be where expectations were highest--and where the most disappointment occurred. The atmosphere is quite cramped, with tables very close together and frequent brushing past from staff and guests. It feels more like a communal dining experience, even when neighboring tables are trying to enjoy a more intimate moment. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Even with a 6:00 p.m. seating--before the peak 7:00 p.m. crowd--the meal lasted about two hours at a slow pace. I imagine later seatings experienced even longer durations, which may appeal more to a European-style dining pace. We actually liked the no-phone policy, though it might be worth allowing brief access for photos after the main courses are served. I suspect they would accommodate that if asked. Lastly, Ebony (I hope I got her name right) was exceptional--truly one of the best servers I've experienced anywhere in the world. She operates at an A+ level: engaging, personable, humorous, and highly efficient.

Dim lights, worn wood, history in the walls, and live music filling the room like it's always belonged there. There's a small dance floor, just enough space to two-step without overthinking it, and that's exactly what we came for. This was our last stop of the night, meant to be a quick finish before heading elsewhere in the Stockyards. Funny how plans change. The music hit right, the energy was right, and this place delivered exactly what it promised. Before we knew it, last call rolled around and we were closing the place down. One of those nights where time slips by, boots are tired, and that old saying rings true -- you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. Classic, gritty, full of character, and absolutely worth ending the night at. If you're in the Stockyards and want a real Fort Worth experience, not something polished or pretend, this saloon is it.

The staff gave plenty of attention to regulars, but that same effort didn't extend to us "newbies." I'm not a bartender, but the difference in hand pours between locals and non-locals was noticeable. We sat at the bar so I could hear the orders being placed. We each had one drink and decided to leave. The lively atmosphere fits the Fort Worth vibe, and the bathrooms were fun with a classic western theme, which was a nice touch. Overall, this feels like a place best enjoyed if you're already part of the regular crowd -- otherwise, the experience is pretty underwhelming.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.
