In all honesty they warrant a 0 star review. Asher who seems to manage no less than 3 of the businesses on here quotes a price and 20 minute arrival to have the locksmith show up over an hour and 20 minutes late. For a job that takes less than a minute and he then proceeds to try to over charge me adding fees to the quoted price. Price fixing that can be called a monopoly. I also needed to match hardware to fit my personal taste. Dylan came on time for my appointment, and was prepared with everything needed for the job. After he started the work, I asked if I could add a door lock that I had neglected to include, and Dylan had no problem making a quick run to the warehouse to pick up what I wanted, and had all three of my doors finished and secure in one afternoon. I'm now a cliché: the girl who locked her keys in her car. Spare key? What spare key? The guy who sold me the car only gave me one key for it! But anyways, this isn't about me and my stupid car. It's about how wonderful 911 Locksmith Services is. After many failed jimmy-ing attempts and some pathetic attempts at picking my trunk lock with a nail file (what? I would have been able to climb into the car if I had opened it that way!), I looked up 911 Locksmith online and saw that 1) they're near me, and 2) they're BBB accredited. These are both appealing, as I didn't want to deal with someone who says he's going to show up in 15 minutes and then calls 40 minutes later to say he's on his way (ahem, A-1 Locksmith...), plus I would more than likely get treated like a human who errs and not just a pocketbook. So I called them up and got a quick quote right then and there: $60. Knowing that this service could sometimes cost customers closer to $100, I accepted the offer. Mr. Locksmith Guy showed up at the time he said he would, and in about a minute, he had opened up my door with nothing more than a couple pump wedges and some long stick thing. Amazing! When I was about to pay the bill, I learned that yes, they accept credit cards, but they have to do it online and I probably should have mentioned that earlier (take note!). But no worries! He took down my e-mail address and sent me an invoice within a couple hours. Then I was able to pay my bill with my PayPal account, which is yet another perk. All in all, I hope I don't have to use them again, but if I end up locking my keys in my car again, I will definitely give 911 Locksmith Services a call. read more
