    Full bar and sports

I never usually have high expectations for a hotel restaurant, but I was impressed with both the food and service at 90 Pacifica. I was so impressed that I actually ate here twice!!! I had a late dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. They have a good variety of foods and were happy to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I ordered a cooked-to-order breakfast, everything was fresh, not pre-cooked, and delicious. Expect hotel prices, but not completely unreasonable.

The restaurant is right in the Hotel lobby and so convenient for guests that like a meal and don't have to go anywhere far. We were there just for breakfast. They offer many choices, a buffet for breakfast also for the hungry. They have TV's for your sports entertainment. There is a separate dining area from the bar if you like a lesser open environment. We chose to sit right outside the double doors in the bar area for a quick meal before headed back to San Diego. We got the two egg breakfast with sausage or bacon with sourdough bread. Your option for beverages was the usual coffee, tea or OJ. All was delicious as expected. Table service was prompt and courteous. We were the only ones in that area. Others diners sat on the other side of the double doors. The meal was very quick, just as we wanted. The convenience was most important. So if you're in the area give it a try, you may just like it. Be warned the price for two egg breakfast was over $52 and with tip $65 plus so be aware. The buffet was $35 pp. So don't sticker shock if you dine there.

We stopped to have lunch at 90 Pacifica, in the Double Tree Hotel in Irvine. I read the great Yelp reviews, and it exceeded my expectations. Portia our hostess/server was super nice and friendly. She brought us dinner rolls & butter. For our Appetizer: French Onion Soup; included; fried artichoke & Panchito. Magnifique! The best French onion soup Diana & I ever had! My Entrée: Jidori Chicken; half chicken roasted to perfection. topped with a onion ring. included; corn bean succotash. Fantastic! I drank an iced tea with my meal. Diana had: Prime Rib Dip; prime rib, swiss cheese, onion fritters, chewy ciabatta bread, roasted red beet horseradish, and truffle fries. Yummy! For dessert: I had: Chocolate Ganache Tart; with a scoop of pistachio gelato. Diana had: Almond Crusted Cheesecake; with drunken berries. They were super duperly delicious! They were the best two desserts Diana & I ever had! My compliments to the chef! Then we walked outside and drove off to find my next review. Robert H.

Absolutely disgusting- this restaurant served me a RAW burger. I asked for medium rare and got this. The raw meat was stringy and gooey. I sent it back and they served me the same burger that was just put back on the grill for a few minutes. So this time it was burnt on the outside and still raw on the inside.. unreal Then a supervisor came over and looked at this and said that was medium rare. WHAT.. how are you able to supervise a kitchen with that mentality Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning

They have the Chef from Chopped and her food is awesome. Get the spicy tuna tacos - they're delicious. Get the lobster mac and cheese - delicious Get the edamame hummus - delicious (I ate it on everything) The flat iron steak looked delicious, my fish sandwich was a little too salty but it was nice and tender with good flavor (other than the salt thing) Service was great. Never had to ask for anything, other than a box for leftovers. Because it's located in the DoubleTree Hotel, you ordinarily wouldn't think of having lunch here unless you were staying for a business trip. After eating here with a group of co-workers, we all agreed that we'd come back for lunch. Don't forget to get your parking validated before you leave. OH! And grab some of their famous (and delicious) chocolate chip cookies!!!

The moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warm, cozy pine--wood-paneled walls, soft amber lighting, and that unmistakable speakeasy charm. Its very small and cozy, resembling a night out camping. And then there's Angelina. From the moment we sat down, she made the experience absolutely unforgettable. She knew the menu inside and out, recommended a smoked old-fashioned that came with a toasted marshmallow. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does--and it shows. She's the secret ingredient that turns a good night into a great one!

I came specifically for the speakeasy experience, and the social media posts made it look amazing,…read morebut unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The "speakeasy" is really a sectioned-off corner of the restaurant using room dividers that don't even reach the ceiling. There's no sense of separation, no hidden entrance, nothing that creates that immersive underground atmosphere a true speakeasy should have. It feels more like a themed alcove than a secret bar. That said, the interior décor is genuinely charming and adorable: think cozy cabin vibes with wood panels and rustic touches. It's actually beautifully done, and honestly? They should lean into it and make the whole restaurant this theme. The drinks are good, no complaints there. But the experience is let down by the tight space (reservations are basically a must -- don't bother dropping in), the wait, and the gap between expectation and reality. If you're looking for a cute spot with solid cocktails, you might enjoy it, but if you are looking for the speakeasy experience, this isn't quite it.
