I've been here once, exactly 8 days ago. I got a full set of gel nails done i asked the lady to instead of using the white powder (clear nails) to use pink powder she said it was $5 more I said ok. So she does my nails long story short I paid $30 and they didn't look pink at all and one of the nails came off already.... This does not happen with gel nails. This nail salon has been my go to for the last 10+ years. Yes, the wait is ridiculous and Yes, they need to hire more staff. The only reason I kept coming was simply because my nails and toes always came out just how I liked them and in my eyes, that made up for all of it. I've tried booking appointments FAR IN advance and was informed that they're no longer booking anyone. To come on in and wait for service IN CASE someone cancelled or didn't show. EXCUSE ME?! Went for the first time and they did a horrible job. Cuticles were not pushed back and when I asked if they'd tell me when to leave (because they sat me in the back without any guidance) they said I could leave. Let me start by saying, I wish I'd read reviews before going to this dump where the clients get treated like sh**. They do not accept appointments and will have you waiting for hours for a mediocre job. The place is a dump and unclean. I went in for a full set and a pedicure on Tuesday and still waited for over an hour. The staff is unfriendly and act miserable in their jobs. The girl doing my nails had a horrible attitude and told me that they don't care about yelp reviews and they are gonna so what is convenient for them, not their clients! I have been going to nail salons for over 20 years and this place is by far the worst. They get a zero for cleanliness, they get a zero for their work and they get even less than a zero for their staff that doesn't give a f**k about their clients. I would rather drive 5 hours to another nail salon than give these ungrateful, dirty people one penny of my money. If you're looking for a great place with good prices where they at least try to make their clients happy, pass this sh**hole up and go up a few blocks to 51st and kedzie. FYI 9 nails, you suck and if it weren't for your clients you'd have no business. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! If I could I would definitely give no stars at all. Bad service they look at you so rude, I went in to get a set of acrylic nails waited 2 hrs. Nails we're not right glued to my nails. The older lady has no patience and does the work super fast. I still don't understand why they don't hire more nail professionals, they have about 8 ppl waiting for service and only 3 of them are there. Wouldn't recommend this place,also on Saturdays they close at 6:30pm I went in at 6:18pm just to wax my upper lip and they said they were closed?! I've been getting my nails done here for a couple of years and I've never left disappointed. The wait can sometimes be long due to a lot of people coming at a certain time but my nails always look good and so do my feet. I like that they always have a show on that most people watch and the workers converse with you as well. Friendly service and no one gets skipped over. read more

After over an hour of waiting I asked if it was going to be much longer because I was ready to leave, they put a teenage boy to do my manicure. I didn't get my quick polish change because the wait is LONG. Nobody wants to sit around for nearly a damn hour just for a service. It was only 3 workers there. They need to hire more workers. I've been going to this place for a while. So far they do a decent job for a good price. A full set of acrylic is $20, and a refill I believe is $18. Since I have no patience whatsoever going in the morning seems to not be such a good choice; the wait was 2 hours. Though I did go once at 2pm and there was only one person in front of me. Along with being impatient I do get a gel nail polish which is $10 extra, to me it seems a little pricey, but I have no other place to compare it to. Pedicures are $20 and they do an above average job. They are the only place I like getting my feet done. read more

Went in a few years ago for a manicure. The guy painted all 10 of my nails halfway. Someone else had to remove the polish and re-do them. Returned with my mother (I don't know why she goes here...) I asked for gel overlay. She used acrylic. I didn't really mind but they are charging for something they aren't doing. I try not to be fussy, but this place takes no pride in what they do. I work nearby and stepped in here one day and they did a great job on my American manicure and I got hooked. However I did not like that costumers bring their kids in this establishment. I should be a bit considerate but I just don't like kids running around me, while getting my nails done. It's a Salon not a daycare center. Also there's a woman with a short Bob hair cutt, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to her. She is always in a hurry and does a million things and talks on the phone while doing your nails. She does your nails fast and doesn't take her time, at least take a little time on someone's nails seeing is that you paid for the service to be done right, not quick and sloppy. I wish I knew her name but I just know she is short,skinny and her hair color is burgandy and it is cutt into a Bob, if you get her you will have sloppy not so neat nails.
