Really poor service. Awful food. I had a party of 3, including myself. We dined in and used our phone to take our order and apparently it's the type to pay first, food later. So we hadn't add tip because it made sense to us to tip after with cash if we have been provided with good service. BUT APPARENTLY, this place was also that, if you tip first, you'll RECEIVE good service. Tip culture is already bad enough but to make it an OBLIGATION is absolutely so insane. (We hadn't known this earlier so keep this mind..) After we received our orders, we politely asked for chili oil and lime and our server gave us one tiny plate of chili oil and forgot the lime. She had a difficult time to hear as well because we kept calling for her multiple times but thats probably because they were playing loud tasteless music. They had awful, poor customer service from the start. At this point one of us got up and asked her for more chili oil and lime (a plate of both for the three of us, it seemed reasonable) but the server proceeded to question if we really needed the amount we needed. Which was already absurd. She ends up giving it to us, but with SO much attitude. By the time we're all sitting down and getting ready to eat, she looks at us with disgust and says something in the lines of "you didn't even tip." And then the entire time, she kept shaking her head at us everytime time she glanced our way. AND ON TOP OF THAT OUR PHO WAS SO BLAND, IT WAS AWFUL. It's like they cooked it bad on purpose JUST BECAUSE we didn't tip! THIS IS NOT HOW A RESTAURANT SHOULD BE SERVICING. I came in at about 1am and got a banh mi with crispy pork. The entire sandwich was dry. The pickled carrots and daikon had a strong off putting smell, but tasted fine. I my biggest issue was with the pork. I believe they used pork belly, and while it was "crispy", it seemed way over cooked and not cooked fresh. It was dry and hard and barely warm which makes me believe it was cooked earlier in the day and just thrown on the banh mi. I also got a Thai ice tea which was alarming orange. Didn't taste like much and it felt like I was drinking orange food coloring mixed with milk and sugar . Completely left my tongue orange. stepped into this place on a sunday afternoon to get lunch with my girlfriend to see how good a 20 dollar bowl of pho should be. it wasn't busy despite the grand opening banners all around so didn't seem promising but I still gave it a chance cause I like a good bowl of soup and noodles. we got the combo and the northern style egg rolls and waited a little too long for what we expected; a plain bowl of some sliced beef, one beef ball, two pieces of tendon with onion garnish and a sprinkle of black pepper. we also got a tiny plate of bean sprouts and the smallest wedge of lemon a long with the usual hoisin and knock off brand of sriracha. I was expecting at least some color like green onions, cilantro, basil, etc. I went up to the server to ask for some and they told us that the garnishes had gone bad but offered me one leaf each of mint and i think the only good basil they had, the amount was amusing but come on... we're obviously sharing a bowl of pho and needed way more than that. we're also sharing the bowl because the price for what we were served was just not worth it, kinda glad we didn't get a bowl each. overall the soup was just okay, nothing more surprising than a homemade bowl at someones house without the price tag. the pork filling in the eggrolls were also just not flavorful and the skin on them were not a good texture, we didn't finish them. we let the server know about that and she insist we tried the other eggrolls but we just wanted to perhaps get the eggrolls returned and pay for the pho only but nothing like that was offered. we won't be returning cause there are other pho restaurants that are better and cheaper, we only just wanted to try and get a good first impression. EDIT: didn't expect such a passive response from management but had to include that in other reviews people had also complained about the flavorless filling in the egg rolls as well as the chewy texture from not fully frying it through like i get from other places, hope you guys take the advice if you want to succeed! :) read more

The service is really good, got checked on and filled up water cup by Sue. We ordered Pho, egg rolls, and bahn mi. The pho broth was really good and flavorful, considering some restaurants broth are very bland. I like how they have different style of food. For egg rolls you can choose whether you like it north or south style Vietnamese egg rolls. They have different varieties of sauces. The restaurants had nice lighting and very cozy, super clean. The food here is absolutely amazing, I highly recommend any of the coffee products. I tried both the Vietnamese coffee and the salted cream coffee and they were fantastic. For food I had both southern and northern style egg rolls and the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (Pork Vermicelli with egg roll). Yes, I got extra egg rolls because they are that good. My wife ordered the beef Pho and I tried her broth. The broth was amazing, and almost made me reconsider what I had ordered, almost. You can tell that the owners and staff truly care about their restaurant based on the service provided. We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in and were quickly seated at the table. They have both physical menus and a QR code for mobile friendliness. The staff was very attentive and quick to respond with any questions. The restaurant was also spotless which was much appreciated. The one criticism that I would have is that food did take a little longer to get out after ordering. Which was understandable given that it was the grand opening. Overall it was a great experience and I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

I was really looking forward to the fried rolls made with rice paper. It was a Saturday evening, and I arrived at 6:54. There were only 2 occupied tables (parties of 2). I was glad I was there to support them on a slow night. 2 other people showed up and ordered take-out. I was seated, and I placed my order a little before 7pm, for the "North style" fried rolls, and grilled pork-Saigon style "bun thit nuong". It was a nice space. I liked the ambiance and the jazz that was playing. There were 3 people working on the floor. I overheard the other 4 diners were very happy with their food. I would say that, at most casual Vietnamese eateries, the food would've been ready in 5-10 minutes, even with a full house. 10-15 minutes went by, and the couple ordering takeout got their food. I thought, hmm, they ordered after me, but ok. A few minutes later, the other 2 couples finished their meals, paid, and left. I was the only customer left. So, now what? At about 7:20, one of the staff members came over to apologize, saying the printer didn't print, and so my order never went through to the kitchen. She said they didn't realize and they were very sorry. She offered me a drink on the house, and that if I preferred, they would pack up the food as takeout. I asked how long it would take them to prepare the food. She said probably 15 min. At this point, I just wanted to leave, so I canceled my order. Another staff member came to apologize, once again saying they didn't know the order didn't go through to the kitchen. I said it shouldn't take them 20 min to realize that. I guess none of them noticed I was sitting there without my food while they chatted among themselves. Maybe I should've asked about my food sooner, but I didn't want to be one of those impatient customers. The staff seemed nice and friendly; I think it was simply inexperience that led to my less than ideal experience. Too bad. 2 stars for the ambiance and cleanliness. read more

It was a light dish - not enough for dinner, but OK for lunch. This was the only dish that I found passable.
