    Tuna salad

Formerly Temptations, same location, same menu, better execution of the food and layout on the inside is much better. Had the tuna salad today and it was phenomenal. They also have daily specials that change daily. Must stop location for lunch.

Fantastic establishment! They have quickly become a favorite in Porters Neck when in town. Great selection of soups and salads and the sandwiches are outstanding. Such unique flavor still with a traditional southern taste. They offer take out and a nice selection of desserts and wines.

We(5 of us) traveled down to NC to help with the cleanup of hurricane Florence. We heard about this place from other volunteers and decided to try it. We called ahead for reservations and were greeted by the owner when we arrived. We started with the pimento cheese and crostini. I had the red drum with asparagus and couscous. Excellent. Others in our group had the veal meatballs and pasta, the burger special and the crab cake. All were excellent. Dessert was great also. I had the caramel chocolate pecan cake and I sampled my neighbors salted caramel Creme Brûlée. Both were excellent. Good reviews on the Key lime pie also. We liked our dinners so much, we went back 2 days later. This time I had the rib-eye special with asparagus and cheddar mashed potatoes. The ravioli was great and my friend raves about the shepherds pie. Dessert was pear bread pudding and was delicious. Everyone in our group had a great meal and the service was attentive. I will definitely go back there again if/when I return to NC.

Love this restaurant! Every meal I get is very flavorful with great portions. Had the Monte Cristo and hubby had Asian wrap. Appetizer was amazing and recommend Duck/bacon wontons. Great food never a miss so giving a 5.

A little overpriced for what you get. Food was cold as we ordered ahead for a certain time. We may try again.

While our first two experiences left us wondering what all the fuss was about, this latest dinner proved that sometimes good things really do come to those who wait (and keep making reservations). Our party of four settled in with high hopes and rumbling stomachs. Three of us couldn't resist the siren call of the crab cakes, while our fourth companion went rogue with the shrimp and grits. The crab cakes delivered everything you want from this coastal classic--generously packed with sweet crab meat and impossibly light, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that provided the perfect canvas. The shrimp and grits, while delicious, couldn't quite dethrone our reigning champion (Cape Fear Seafood still holds that crown), but they put up an admirable fight. The real showstoppers, however, were the appetizers. My half-dozen Sneads Ferry oysters arrived like little ocean jewels--impeccably fresh, properly briny, with just enough natural sweetness to make you close your eyes and sigh. The mussels swam in a sauce so good I considered asking for a straw, and the calamari managed that rare feat of being both smoky and completely free of any "low tide" funk that plagues lesser versions. Our Sauvignon Blanc proved the ideal supporting actor, crisp and bright enough to complement without competing. The service struck that sweet spot between professional and personable--attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious. The atmosphere isn't quite my cup of tea, but word on the street is they're relocating, so here's hoping the new digs will match the elevated kitchen performance. Sometimes the third time really is the charm. Catch has finally caught up to its reputation.

We had a large group and the server was very attentive to us. My soda cup was super super dirty which was gross. We ordered the Brussels and shrimp for the appetizer and those were PHENOMENAL. Shrimp were so flavorful and the Brussels were some of the best I've had. I got the swordfish as my main and it really wasn't hot. Kind of warm but not really as hot as it should have been. I thought the flavor was good but the portion was a little disappointing for the price. We got some coconut cake for dessert which was super tasty and moist. Mixed feelings but I'd give them another shot!

Once entering I had to wait to be seated as the hostess was overwhelmed with the couple before me. She was very nice once it came my turn. I opted to sit on the patio since it was a beautiful evening. The bar seemed crowded with what appeared to be locals. There were only a few of us on the patio but it filled up as I was leaving after a delightful meal. Love the mix of old seaside decor and the memorabilia. This place has history. Now for the food. I had to have the She crab soup as that is one of the things the place is known for. It was tasty. Not a lot of experience with this style soup but I enjoyed it almost as much as I would have a nice bisque. The side salad was a bit small but typical mix and the blue cheese was good but needed more of it. (More on that later) I opted for water tonight as I was trying to behave but they do have a full bar and a good wine list. The waitress was very knowledgeable and when I told her I was going to try one of the fresh catches Carolina style she recommended the Drum. It was very tasty. I would have loved to have more of the Carolina topping to sop up with the nice biscuits they brought out. The Mac and Cheese was also tasty. The vegetable tonight was green beans so that didn't sound very exciting so opted for the Mac. Probably not the healthiest choice but was tastier in my humble opinion. Great experience food wise and my poor server needs a medal or something. She was attempting to cover the bar area and the patio by herself. She was literally running trying to make it all work. She was great but it does appear they need to hire a few more folks to help.
