The ambiance is great here! I was greeted immediately as I walked inside. I was told I could sit anywhere. It was just me today so I chose the bar. Closed captioned tvs playing MLB and I'm able to watch the expeditor get the food out, but place a close eye on orders as they go out. I love this because she is on point and I even heard her say to the kitchen, "Guys, this cheesesteak has been sitting too long for me! Re-Fire!! My type of lady and I love how they made the quick re-fire. Everyone seems happy from the staff to the customers! I found this place on YELP and while I'm drinking a few beers, I already know what I am going to order--Large Garden salad, no tomatoes or cucumbers, and add a crab cake! The crab cakes that I've have seen coming out the kitchen look authentic and not made with fillers! I'm excited! They have pickle spears so you already know that I need at least 4. I'm a happy camper hanging out at the bar! I'm here for a week but it's already looking like I'll be back before I leave! Great job Two Guys!! I just went to get a salad for lunch and to be honest $18 for the salad I got was a bit disappointing. The owner was there and I asked would you pay $20 (tip included for a pickup order) for this, he said let me dank you up another salad on top of this one. I asked to buy a beer while I waited and he would not let me pay for that either. That is what you call good business and a good owner of the company. Thank you! My parents go here at least once a week and we love it this makes our experience even better. read more

The place was decently full for a Saturday night around 5:30. We sat inside since it was a bit warm and we had a baby with the group. They had 8 or so beers on tap, and a couple more choices in cans. For food, I chose a bacon ranch sandwich in hopes of finding something that wouldn't bother my stomach later. When it was brought out I was surprised to find shredded chicken and not a chicken breast, so that was a little weird. Honestly it tasted more like a Philly cheesesteak in some ways than bacon ranch chicken. It was a little greasy...which did irritate my stomach later. My friends enjoyed their sandwiches/burgers. We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night and thankfully not too busy. We sat at a high top table, which was ok, but I prefer a booth or regular table. We were near the bar and the bathroom which I don't love either but, we try to be easygoing and not ask to be moved elsewhere. This is good American style food and the menu had a lot of good options. We tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and the Mahi Tacos with a broccoli side, for an extra charge. The portions were really big and food was tasty. The side of broccoli was only $3 and very shareable. It was a garlicky broccoli and really good. This was a very convenient spot to eat, right across the street from my hotel, and had good service. I would certainlycome here again to try more of the menu. read more

Great food and great customer service! We will be back! I got the buffalo chicken Philly and it was awesome.

The restaurant was full when we arrived, but a waitress came up and said the wait would only be 15 to 20 minutes. They got us in quick and the food came out quick as well. My husband could not stop raving about the chicken Philly bowl. I had the Fried Pickle black bean burger and my son had the blackened mahi tacos. Everything was delicious and portions were great. Great burger find in the area! First visit and I ordered takeout. This was near Harris Teeter in Porters Neck, just before you get to the 40/140 split to Topsail. They were quick and helpful with the menu. I like to try new things so I went for the bacon and bleuberry burger and it was delicious! I love the sweet spicy funky blend of the jalapeños with the blueberry sauce and bleu cheese, with caramelized onions (chopped). Greasy and a good thick burger... ask for extra napkins because she's a drip down your face and hands kind of burger ;) lol They cooked it pretty close to well done but it was still juicy. I love the option of skinny or fat fries! The skinny fries are great and they make a darn good fry sauce. Excited to try more! read more

It was a girl's day out today (30 Jan 2022). Seven of us had lunch prior to going to an art class, so I searched for a place that was near the studio. It was a first time visit here for everyone. We were warmly greeted by a couple of the staff. It's not a large restaurant. It has the dining area, a bar area, and outside dining. We all ordered a variety of foods: Salads, Philly cheese steaks, a black and blueberry burger (with a bean burger), and other burgers. My friends were impressed with everything. Having read so many great reviews about their burgers, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger (with cheddar cheese). I was disappointed. Good flavors, a good size burger, but it was very dry and tense in texture. It wasn't juicy at all; and not your typical juicy, messy burger. Cutting into the burger (when I decided to skip the bun on the second half) was a struggle. I skipped the rest of the burger and ate the fries. I would normally have asked the waitress for a new burger (and I'm sure it would have been much better) but we had an art class to attend. One of my friends ordered the Tarheel burger and she agreed with me about the density/dryness of the burger. She did like the spicy mustard and the other toppings. Everyone that ordered the skinny fries (we all laughed at the name while wondering ,"how can you make fries skinny?") Our waitress explained they were thin like the ones at McDonald's. We think they are the best fries in Wilmington! Throughout the visit, we felt pampered. Someone was always checking on us, giving us new glasses of water, and just making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We were very impressed with the staff. As we left, one of the staff thanked us for coming and stated they appreciated our business. I don't think I've been to a place where the entire staff treats you special. While having our lunch, the place filled up quickly. As we left, there were people waiting to get in. Overall, an excellent place with outstanding service. Despite the dry burgers, I'm giving this place 5 stars. read more

Again, this place is always consistent. The prices are good, the staff is solid, and the food is above average for this type of burger/grill joint. I think their Buffalo chicken burger is their best burger...but they make a solid basic hamburger as well. Its a spot u wanna go to have a beer and a burger and relax. They've improved the atmosphere a lot over the years...a lot of tvs, updated bathrooms, etc...and the fries are great!! I dont go for sweet potato fries although people like theirs, I like their plain thin, nothing but potato and salt, French fries...they need nothing else and the portions are great. I found this restaurant doing a yelp search in Porter Neck and was surprised I'd never been here. We came in before 6pm on a Wednesday and were happily greeted by staff. A bartender/manager gave us a run down of the beers and offered some great selections! Right off the bat this place had a good vibe. We sat outside as the inside is smaller and was filling up. Our waitress was polite and checked in on us as it took awhile for us to decide - everything sounded good. We got the Fried pickle burger and Firecracker chicken sandwich. They have fat fries and skinny fries so we had to try both to compare. Both were crispy and came with a special fry sauce. I'll have to get the sweet potato fries next time. The food was hot, fresh and was a good portion. I definitely enjoyed our dinner and wish I found it sooner. read more

Like Diogenes I'm on a quest to find a good cheese steak. This one brings me closer to the promised land. The meat and cheese were nicely melded to create a nice chewy gooey mass. Added to that peppers, mushrooms and jalapeños made it delightful. The lagniappe though was the toasted bun! Most cheesesteaks I've had are just plain hoagie buns which tend to get soggy while eating. This toasted bun made the bun hold up longer! My side was shoestring fries nicely fried with a perfect crispness. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Me likes!! read more

Well, they screwed up, and I commented on it. After a few trips , good trips, service was bad on my 3rd or 4th trip. They got a bad review. I went back for a redemption chance. They blew it out of the park. I was greeted as soon as I sat down at the bar, and was recognized as the offended party. Comp'd my beer, apologized for the previous service, and the to go order came out before I was half way done with my beer. When someone screws up, I will call them on it. Went to Two Guys Grille again while staying at the beach for the weekend. Amazing service! It was very busy and we had to wait a bit but we were updated several times on our table and were able to get a beer while we waited. I finally tried the blueberry bacon burger and it was out of bounds good! The fry sauce is one of my favorites and the ranch was also very good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered immensely! I was here in town at Harris teeter decided to grab lunch before heading back to jacksonville nc..I was so happy I did.. the menu had lots to offer from burgers to tacos to seafood. I got gala apple chicken salad and one side crab cake. I do not like blue cheese so I asked if they could put shredded cheese instead and they had no problem with that. The salad and crab cake came out pretty fast and my server was so sweet and attentive!! That salad was huge and the chicken was tender and full of flavor.. grilled chicken perfectly cooked I have to say!! I ended up taking half of it home! The crab cake was not thick but it was well put together with more crab than breading and pressed.. so good omg!! I sat outside in a really cool shaded table with umbrellas.. nice wind blowing and not terrible hot out.. perfect meal perfect place and made my day. Great start to my week..
