Horrible service!!!!! I placed an order through door dash , 2 pounds of crab clusters and red beans and rice . I spend 93$ not including tip or delivery fee. After waiting 40 min I got my order and it was wrong !! So I called immediately and was told no more orders are to be taken over the phone . Because they are closing early, I explained how I got the wrong order . The gentleman told me to give my name he checked and confirm it was their mistake but I would have to call Uber . I said no sir please I don't wanna call again I want to just place it with you and pick it up. I will pay for it and deal with Uber later. He told me he wasn't able to take any more orders again . I said but my order was messed up this was all I had to eat . So am I just suppose to be hungry. He told me he's sorry but yes. The store had 25 more minutes until closing and I stayed 10 minutes away . I thought about eating what they made me instead but it didn't look good at all.

Got some crawfish, crab, and shrimp delivered. It was delicious and arrived via Doordash sooner than expected. A little messy but good overall. They do not really provide any equipment to crack the crab which is why I'm docking one star. That being said, we ended up not needing any equipment for the crab. The shell broke fairly easily and the meat came out smoothly. However, if you have braces I hope you have someone with you who can either bite the crab for you or has a crab mallet at home. One person in our group couldn't do spicy food so we went with mild. The mild was in fact mild. For the price, I would recommend to others and would order again.

Also, you cannot go wrong with the mambo fried rice. It's literally the best. To make it extra special put some of that hot habanero sauce on it and man you're talking about you got a great meal. Also, the pricing here is great. Where can you get a meal for lunch for around $10? Such a great value in my opinion. Also, recently they started up a loyalty program, which I think is amazing I come here all the time and I will absolutely take advantage of this. The service is usually really fast too. They'll get you in and out of here in like 15 or 20 minutes. All of their locations are consistently really good. Easy five star review.

Cochinita & Co was... fine. But fine doesn't really cut it when you're paying these prices…read more The food itself isn't bad, it's just not interesting. It's the same dishes you've had at a dozen other Mexican restaurants around the city. Nothing on the plate made anyone at our table lean over and say "Okay, you have to try this." For what they're charging, you'd hope for at least one moment like that. Didn't happen. The one thing that genuinely bothered us was that we told them ahead of time that someone in our group had a spice allergy. Not a preference, an allergy. We were pretty explicit about it. It didn't seem to matter much. That's the kind of thing a restaurant really needs to get right, and they dropped the ball. Service was actually okay, though, to be fair. No real issues there, the staff were friendly and attentive enough. So there's that. But honestly? Houston has too many good options to settle for an overpriced average. If you're craving Mexican food, there are places in this city that will blow your mind for the same money or less. This just isn't one of them. We might swing by again someday if we're nearby, but we're not going out of our way.

The vibe is great, the decor is awesome, the food delivers consistently, and service rarely takes a day off -- it's just a solid place to go when you're up for some great southern comfort classics. Cocktails, delicious. The daily food specials make it refreshing. The oysters never disappoint. We've rarely had to wait long on any ordered items and servers are all top notch. My only minor complaint is some of the larger groups visiting can sometimes forget there are others in the restaurant. We don't need to hear your entire conversation about the latest office gossip.

*this review is only for crawfish, not their regular menu (which is amazing) *…read more We went here during crawfish season because they've been advertising their $8/lb crawfish, and we trusted that it would be great given the quality of their regular menu. We went on a Saturday for lunch. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but if you're looking for good Cajun boiled crawfish, this is not it. We started off with 6 lbs (group of 4) of their regular crawfish. First off, they put the Cajun seasoning on outside/shell (!!), which is a cardinal sin for Cajuns. They also minimally seasoned the boil, so the meat was lacking salt and flavor. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... Come on guys, I expect more from a Gulf Coast seafood restaurant!
