You can find this place in the strip mall with Dollar tree, Wingstop and a few other places. On a Friday and Saturday parking to get a parking spot maybe a little hard to find. I have visited this spot before when it first opened over here and the food was tastey, and not that many people knew about the location in Katy. They have an online system to order but that was slow at the time. I ordered the the Duo Delight which consist of 1 crab cluster, headless shrimp, potatoes and corn. Sausage and egg is extra. We got mild 7 Spice season, it was ok, not a wow factor for me. What really turned me off was that I had several shrimps that weren't deveined which was a turn off. This place was wonderful until it got busy. Seems Covid has really helped the business so now they can't seem to do things right. My last 7 orders on door dash have come cold, missing items, and imagine calling and having them casually tell you they just "overlooked" items that you paid extra for. Today is just too bad that I had to post. My family orders from here at least once a week. The etoufee came with some sticky stuff, super watery(might as well be gumbo) and they stuck the styrofoam ON TOP of my rice for another order(like how is this sanitary during corona?) Arrived @9:35pm we were greeted with the front desk cashier saying "aww hell naa" @9:45 they turned off the lights, the tv and the soda machine while another employee shouted to everyone IT's TIME TO GO!! Well I came across their Instagram page and the food looked so good. After trying it I am completely let down and disappointed. I got the 6 piece shrimp meal with fries 3 out of the 6 shrimp weren't cleaned properly and had poop in them, but they were split down the back which is confusing why cut the shrimp to clean it but then NOT clean it???? Also the fries were bland and unseasoned. We tried the Crawfish fried rice and it had no flavor whatsoever. I'm not one to leave reviews often but this one here whewww I had to. These people honestly deserve "NO STARS"...... There's nothing Cajun about this place at all.... I got the crab boil and all I can say about that is "Terrible"! No seasoning on the crabs. In fact the shells stuck to every piece of crab meat leaving me with very little or none at all and last but not least the potatoes were so mushy that you were literally eating mash potatoes. We ordered a fish and chicken tender w cajun fried rice. I, a crawfish poboy. First the fish, chix platter. Both looked like they came out of a box. Both w dark coarse breading. Both chicken strip amd so called catfish was dry and flavorless. The rice Looked just as bad w no flavor.Taste matched the appearance. The crawfish poboy was ok at best. The bread was great and toasted perfect. Crawfish were drenched in a what was supposed a remulade. But didnt look like what came w it. Overall not too bad bit differently lacking in flavor also. As per usual, messing up the orders, taking forever, not answering phone for to go orders or letting ring forever then going to pick up the phone to hang it up. Then have the nerve to be joking around whole customers sit here watching closing time come to an end as if we work here. Poor training usually young kids who aren't washing hands and in an out like they have no supervision... there are a different group if employees that I've seen in previous visits but same tune different day. Alright, so this was 1st time eating at this place. Let me start off by saying I was extremely annoyed when I got there bc my food was not ready. I placed my order online 28 minutes before I got there, and the young guy was like ion know why your order not ready. He said it looks like someone opened your order but never made it, so im standing there looking stupid hungry and mad. It was several young kids there working but no manager. ‍‍. This tiny little 'fast food' style restaurant surprised me by how delicious the food was! I was expecting more of a restaurant style, but the small space was nice, clean and intimate. I had fried catfish, chicken tenders & fried shrimp. They were all delicious and well seasoned. Not greasy. My sister had a boil bag of crab & shrimp which was amazing! Checkout was quick and easy! The food is good but the young lady with the burgundy braids had a horrible attitude and was very rude to customers. She even tried to deter people from ordering by telling them there would be a ridiculously long wait for their order. When one customer said ok that's fine, she rudely took her order with a mad look on her face. The ultimate disrespect was when she said, " Everybody in here is getting on my nerves." Disclaimer: My review is based on a takeout order. I called in advance to order the Shrimp Étouffée. I was told that it would take 10 minutes. About the time I jumped in my car and arrived, my order was ready and still hot. For $10, I received a small order of shrimp etouffee with 2 slices of bread. The etouffee sauce was on one side and the rice was on the other. This is the best seasoned etouffee I have ever had. I've been to New Orleans 5 times and tried different etouffees but nothing compared to this. I just wished that they would have placed my bread outside of my container. My bread was soggy due to the rue and steam. I deducted a star because the shrimp were not all peeled. Some shells were left on the shrimp. But trust me, the seasoning of the etouffee rue would make you forget about it AND slap your momma. I would order from this place again! read more

I went on a week night around 7p. I ordered the shrimp and tender combo with cajun fried rice as a side. I added 3 boudin balls. The shrimp was fried well and was really good. The tenders were even better. I could tell they were marinated bc they were really really tender and the crispy crust made them hard to put down. The boudin balls had a cornmealy crusty on the outside and was fluffy soft on the inside. They had a light dirty rice flavor. Not bad at all. I will say they did it up on the cajun rice. They do not skimp on the rice. I appreciate that bc some places will give you a spoonful and put it in a cup. The rice was plentiful. I did wish it had more flavor and maybe some veggies but I had enough to do my own fried rice later. I did get the remoulade sauce which kinda tasted like a creamy honey mustard but I was missing a kick. But it was still good. I will be back. read more

Also, the fried rice was really greasy and looked like mush instead of rice, with some little bitty shrimp.
