Finally, a boba place that is open early in the morning so I can get my coffee and boba fix on when I want it. They have a nice inside area with seating as well as a drive thru. Nice to have the options. Service is friendly. Shop is clean. And the drinks are delicious. They also sell macaroons (I have not tried those yet). I've been to this location a few times and I've always had consistent service and drinks. It's a small cafe that offers indoor seating in a very casual setting. The menu has a variety of drink options from coffee, tea, milk tea, and matcha. My husband always orders the Oolong milk tea and I went with the Taro milk tea. It's never too busy when we come here, so our drinks are usually made pretty fast. The Oolong milk tea has always been one of our favorite drinks. It's very smooth and creamy with a complex flavor profile that's slightly nutty. I absolutely love taro flavored drinks and desserts so I was really excited to try this milk tea out. It tasted like a very sweet cereal milk that had tiny white bits floating around that were texturally off-putting. They just updated their app so this is a review in terms to their new 7 Leaves 2.0. There's still a lot of flaws with this app. I originally had troubles with redeeming rewards and leaves and it's more straightforward with this newer app. However, I've noticed that you are not able to order ahead for a pick up time at a later set point you only can do it for immediately. My go to is the black and tan on their secret menu and add on extra shots. I do feel like this is on the sweeter side, but it's definitely not as strong as the typical Vietnamese iced coffee on the menu. The milk tea balances out the coffee pretty well with this one. Prices are about reasonable for a small size and a good option if you're looking for coffee with Boba combination. I noticed that a lot of Vietnamese coffee places don't offer toppings or Boba but this place gives you all the toppings available. This specific location's phone was not working so I had to call another location in order to relay the message and the message did go through so I appreciate the follow up. read more

We had a craving for boba late one evening, and this establishment was open. The interior is fairly spacious, and they do have several tables and complimentary WiFi. They have a variety of tea and coffee-based beverages on their menu along with small sweets like macarons. I sadly didn't see my favorite almond milk tea on the menu, but I settled for their iced "house coffee" which is a Vietnamese style coffee with a creamy and nutty flavor. They did not seem to offer any customization choices like are offered at other tea/boba places (e.g., ice level, sweetness level). The drink itself was quite tasty and creamy with a nutty flavor just as described. It was moderately sweet; I would've preferred the option to customize the sweetness. You can add things like boba, pudding, etc. to the drink, but I just took it as is. Loveee 7 leaves. As I'm from the Bay Area, I'm very familiar with this café chain. I was so happy to find out that Vegas has a few locations too! This one in particular is my favorite since it has a drive-thru! Inside is modern and clean. Service is always friendly too. This review is for the Durango Location. The drinks at the 7 Leaves Cafe chain are decent (like overall 4/5), but l'm giving 5/5 for the convenience and service of this location. The menu is fairly simple and the company promotes quality and freshness, which I do find to be fairly true. I love how they have a drive-through window and open at 6 AM. I usually stop by on the way to work and the employees are always super nice and perky even at such an early hour. The drinks can be quite sweet, and for some drinks it's difficult to adjust the sweetness level without affecting the actual flavor. When you order "easy sweet" they sometimes just add more milk or less drink mix powder depending on the drink. So yes, it's less sweet but it also tastes more diluted. I believe with the non-milk teas, just the sugar level can be adjusted. The milk teas here are on the "thinner" side of creaminess of milk teas I've had, if you know what I mean (but not in a bad way). My go-to's are the house coffee and mung bean milk tea. I've tried most, but not all the drinks over the years, and haven't tried the macarons. I don't usually get toppings either. Here's my review for the drinks if you'd like to read: House Coffee and Vietnamese Coffee -- 5/5 * House is like an elevated and more decadent Vietnamese style coffee -- extra creamy and rich. Has a thick whipped cream-like cap and tastes sweet and nutty, still with a strong coffee flavor and slight bitterness. The normal version is a typical Vietnamese coffee -- strong, bold, and pleasantly sweet. Maybe a little more on the milky side. Mung Bean Milk Tea -- 5/5 * Has a nice pandan and mung beany flavor, with a slight grittiness which I like. Thai Milk Tea & Thai Green Tea -- 5/5 * Regular version is a solid classic Thai tea. The green version is pleasantly floral. Both have a strong tea flavor. Jasmine Sea Cream -- 5/5 * A lighter drink, not as rich as a milk tea. Has a good balance of saltiness. More tea forward than cream/milk. Summer Mint -- 5/5 * Fruity but you can still taste the green tea flavor with a hint of fresh mint, almost like a mojito, orangey and passion fruity, very refreshing. Sunset Passion 5/5 * I like the added salted plum which makes it very pretty with an ombré effect. Similar to the Summer Mint in terms of fruitiness but more like a juice. This one has fresh passion fruit seed pieces which adds a nice crunch. Oolong, Jasmine, and Taro Milk Teas -- 4/5 * Decent milk teas but nothing too special. Tastes like what you'd expect. The taro does not have fresh taro but does have some grittiness which I like. Japanese Matcha Soy -- 3/5 * Matcha flavor isn't that strong. It's one of those drinks where you can't adjust the sweetness without adding less matcha. Assam Milk Tea -- 3/5 * I want to like this one but something doesn't quite hit for me. If you want classic milk tea, I would personally go somewhere else. Secret Menu/Seasonal Drinks Black and Tan -- 4/5 * House coffee and jasmine milk tea mixed. Tastes like Chinese yuenyeung. You can tell there's both coffee and tea mixed, but the jasmine flavor is subtle and was quite sweet. Tea-Rex 3/5 * Mung bean and matcha mix. Similar to the Black and Tan -- you can taste both of the drinks in the mix, but they don't necessarily blend well for me. It was also pretty sweet and I'd just stick with one or the other. Strawberry Rio Rosa -- 5/5 * Zesty, fresh, and tangy. Good fresh strawberry flavor with a nice creaminess. A great summer drink and very pretty. read more

Usually, when I hit go to 7Leaves, I'm greeted with super cheerful, upbeat staff but that's when I've gone inside in person. But this time... not exactly. It wasn't terrible, just a little, "meh" compared to my usual experiences. Now, onto the drinks. Sadly, both of mine didn't hit the mark like they usually do. The Toro drink was definitely off--not as authentic or flavorful as I remember it being. And the soy Matcha I ordered? It just didn't have the same magic as it used to. But the real kicker was the ice situation--one drink had so much ice, it was pretty much gone by the time I got to it, and the other had barely any, so the bottom was like warm tea soup. Not ideal. I'm bummed, honestly. I wanted to love this trip, especially since I've been a huge fan of 7Leaves in the past. I'm not sure I'll be coming back to this location, though--I'd probably still give the other locations a try (RIP to the one that closed though ). I ordered the sea cream jasmine tea. It seems like they may use the same machine to brew coffee because it tasted like coffee water like when you'd use a keurig to brew coffee then put a tea pod in. She knows exactly which drinks have more caffeine and if the sea cream carries a more savory taste so those who prefer sweets should have less cream in their drinks, all of which I love. The tradition continues. 7 Leaves Cafe is a SoCal success story that now boasts over 40 locations in 5 states. I first tried and loved them almost a decade ago at their original spot in Garden Grove when I was visiting family. Today, I was out at IKEA and noticed that their newest Las Vegas shop was just down the street, so I had to swing by. 7 Leaves is Vietnamese-owned, and one of their menu item that represents that heritage is Mung Bean Milk Tea ($4.75, 20 oz). Along with the namesake ingredient, pandan leaves and a jasmine tea base form a sweet blend with a unique character which you'll recognize if you've had Southeast Asian desserts. There's some grainy character from the bean, but it's not an unpleasant mouthfeel. My one critique was actually with the honey boba ($0.75). The boba is a little soft for my liking, but it's not actually too mushy. Even though I prefer my tapioca pearls more al dente, I'll let it slide since most milk tea shops unfortunately seem to cook their boba to this doneness. Parking is fine at this location since it's in a large plaza. The seating area has a few tables and was half-full but quiet (but not library-esque) when I was there. I'm always happy to stop at any 7 Leaves Cafe when I can, and I'm still hoping that they'll decide to expand to somewhere in or at least closer to Henderson. read more

I've moved on from Starbucks to 7 Leaves. Ever since this Durango location opened down the street from my work, I go to this location at least twice a week. I've only used the drive thru, so I don't know how it looks inside but the workers are always quick and friendly. My go to drink is the House Coffee. It's SO good and well balanced.
