Visited Foxtail Coffee Co. on Russell Road on September 12, 2026, around 10:16 AM. I really wanted to like this place because visually, it is a very cute coffee shop. The rustic decor, wood finishes, open layout, and overall design are inviting. Unfortunately, the actual customer experience did not match the presentation. There were only a handful of customers inside and three employees working. When I approached the counter, I said hello first. The cashier eventually responded, but there was no welcome, no introduction, no explanation of the menu, and no attempt to make the interaction feel personal. I ordered a regular Southern Peach Tea and a caffè macchiato, specifically asking for the macchiato iced with a small amount of coconut milk. Another issue was that I was never asked for a name. That might sound minor, but it became important because drinks were being placed out and announced only by what they were. At one point, multiple customers were looking around trying to figure out whose drinks were whose. There did not appear to be much coordination between the three employees, and the entire operation felt surprisingly disorganized considering how few customers were inside. My receipt shows the order was placed at 10:16 AM. By the time everything was finally sorted out, it was around 10:28. The Southern Peach Tea came out first. When it was handed to me, I immediately noticed it was in a large cup even though I ordered a regular. I asked about it and was told they were out of the medium cups, so they had simply given me the larger size with some extra tea. I appreciated the extra product, but that is something I would have preferred to be told before or during the transaction instead of discovering it afterward. Then came the macchiato. I had clearly ordered it iced. What I received was a tiny hot macchiato in a hot cup. I brought it back and explained that it was supposed to be iced. They said no problem, took it back, and after another wait, I received what appeared to be the same espresso transferred into a large plastic cup with ice and the milk added afterward. It did not feel like the drink had been remade properly from the beginning, it felt corrected as quickly as possible. That also raised a bigger concern for me. I specifically requested coconut milk. About 30 minutes after drinking it, my stomach became upset in a way that I personally associate with dairy. I cannot prove what milk was used, so I am not stating that they definitely gave me dairy. However, considering the original drink was already made incorrectly and the overall lack of communication I witnessed, it left me questioning whether my milk request was followed correctly. That is not something I should have to wonder about when ordering a beverage. For someone with a serious allergy, that type of uncertainty could become much more significant. The one thing keeping this from being a complete zero for me was the Southern Peach Tea. That was genuinely excellent. Smooth, flavorful, refreshing, and easily the best part of the visit. I would gladly drink that again if the rest of the experience had matched it. What stood out most was simply how low-energy and disconnected the entire shop felt. I watched another order have an issue as well. Nobody seemed coordinated with one another, and the staff appeared to be operating independently instead of as a team. Coffee shops normally have a certain rhythm to them, even when they are busy. This did not. I stayed polite, kept smiling, and simply wanted to get my drinks and leave. I am reviewing the experience exactly as it happened. A simple order was made incorrectly, communication was poor, there was no clear system for identifying orders, and I ultimately left questioning whether my specific milk request had even been followed. The Peach Tea deserves credit. Unfortunately, everything surrounding it does not. For me, this is a one-star experience, and I will not be returning. Las Vegas has far too many coffee shops to choose from for me to take another chance on having the same experience twice. read more

This is a medium sized shop in Summerlin. It is in a strip mall so plenty of parking and seating. Medium level music plays so you might be ok to work or study. They have small bites and of course coffee. I had my usual latte at it was ok. The milk was textured relatively well but it was slight too hot and the resulting flavor from the coffee was a little bitter. They only serve them in to go cups which is not my fav. This Foxtail Coffee is a cozy spot with a friendly staff. I just met up with a group of ladies for our book club, and there was plenty of seating available for us. I like the decor, especially the mural on the wall with the desert scene, reminiscent of Red Rock. I only had a decaf oat milk latte when I was there, and it was just fine. They have a wide array of espresso drinks, cold brew, as well as teas on the menu. They also offer pastries and some food options (bagels, oatmeal yogurt, sandwiches, egg bites) to accompany your drink. Overall, this is a good spot to grab a drink and meet up or work on this side of town. read more

We tried going to Couve coffee but it got flooded and was closed for maintenance. The next nearest coffee shop was this one and we were desperate for coffee. First I will say I thought they had a good list of food from the pictures but they have an extremely limited menu. All their food is prepackaged and so there are no modifications allowed. They were out of the egg bites and so I got a banana bread loaf and a triple shot iced latte. The banana bread was extremely cold and sticky. Like a laffy taffy. The coffee was burnt and all I could taste was bitter coffee. My husband got a sandwich and it was partially cold and it had nothing else but meat, cheese, and the bread. No guac, no sauce, etc. The decor is pretty dated to early 2010s. The upside is that if you need to work or study, this would be your place. Overall just not good, sadly. read more

I've been to this location before, but this experience was way better than the first. This time around the customer service went over and beyond, which was so refreshing, especially since I really enjoy their coffees. My friend was asking a few questions regarding items on the menu because she's gluten-free and the cashier was so helpful in picking out what to order. She went with the Original Cold Brew and I got one of their seasonal drinks which was the Gingerbread Banana Iced Latte. Both of our drinks came out really fast, thanks to their speedy service. We decided to hang out on the patio due to the nice weather, but I could definitely see myself hanging out indoors due to its cozy and very casual atmosphere. Both of our coffees were absolutely delicious, especially the seasonal one. My friend said that her cold brew was perfectly sweetened, not too bitter, and it had a nice rich flavor. My drink on the other hand, brought out all of my pre-holiday joy. All of the flavors mingled so well together and I honestly couldn't stop drinking it. I've never waited so long for a lavender latte! wanted to try the banana bread but they were out so I asked for a cinnamon roll and they were out as well. We're new to town and have been on a quest to try many different coffee shops. We love Vesta and Mothership and we were excited to try Foxtail. We arrived at 8:20 and almost drove away because it looks closed from the outside. We opened the door, but there was no one inside. It looked abandoned! Cool decor though.After a few minutes the solo barista came out of the back room- no greeting and went about her business, making some coffee for others apparently in the drive-through. It took about five minutes for her to take our order and then about 25 minutes to deliver our drinks. There was a man in line behind us who just wanted a cup of coffee and he waited just as long!!! Another patron came in and was looking around like what's going on! We all waited in silence. He did wait for his coffee, but it took about 15 minutes for him. Around 9ish another employee arrived. BTW I ordered a 24 ounce lavender latte and I'm not sure there was more than two shots of espresso in it. I truly hope they can adjust so their business can succeed but at this point many adjustments are needed. As we were leaving a patron who had ordered ahead walked in and her drinks weren't ready. A friend and I met up for coffee and lunch at Foxtail yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness and brightness of the shop given it's placement in a strip mall/ shopping center that looks like so many across the valley. The shop was clean, the staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered, and the food was delicious. I kept seeing this place as we drive by frequently. One day we decided to try it on a whim. I was looking on their app and noticed they had a ton of options on the app to customize with. Thats what reeled me in to go. I'm glad I finally got that yearning to give it a shot, because now I know I will not be coming back. We were drive thru customers. We ordered a mocha latte and an ice chai, we decided to give their pastries a try so we also ordered a chocolate croissant, cookie, and a muffin. The pastries (most especially the croissant) were served to me ice cold and rock hard. Not to mention the chocolate croissant was fruity tasting. The drinks were okay, nothing special. So as a first impression, I believe they will have a hard time competing with other coffee joints in the area. I, myself, was Foxtail's one time customer. We stopped by Foxtail Coffee on a quiet Sunday morning, and it was the perfect way to start our day. There was only one other customer when we arrived, so the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and added caramel drizzle, while my boyfriend tried the vanilla caramel cold brew. We also shared a matcha cookie. Our drinks came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. My latte may have just become my new favorite coffee drink in town! My boyfriend enjoyed his cold brew as well, although he thought it would have been even better with a splash of milk. We sat at the coffee bar and played a game while waiting, which made for a fun and cozy experience. The only small hiccup was that we had to remind the staff about our cookie, but once it arrived, it was worth the wait. Me and my friends came in so hungover and she could definitely read our vibe because she just knew I needed two shots in my dirty chai and my friend didn't know how to order a drink correctly and heather helped us out with getting her a good drink. I truly continuously try to give this place more than one try the last time was maybe like a year year and a half ago it was a horrible experience to grow so rude called my dog ugly and I told her that's a pot calling the kettle black, she got offended, so whatever. The person I was with that London fog, I asked them for it to be sweet. They didn't listen. It wasn't sweet at all and then obviously to each their own, but it wasn't even the definition of sweet. I got a vanilla caramel iced coffee. I don't know why it taste like it's been sitting there the coffee like all day. I don't know. I think it's odd or the day before. It just doesn't taste fresh. Tried this place today. Looked nice so I went inside to have a coffee and work on my laptop. No other customers ordering. After 15 minutes, I still didn't have my drink, so I went back up to the counter. The workers were goofing around on their headsets, and had totally forgot about my order. I'm disappointed to have to write this review because I really like Foxtail Coffee and prefer it to mainstream coffee shops like Starbucks. However, this location needs some improvements in staffing/training. The drive-thru doesn't seem well-managed, and it would be the first thing to fix--I waited about 5-10 minutes before circling and going inside. Once inside, it took another few minutes standing at the register before someone acknowledged me. I ordered two drinks: a "dirty" chai latte (16 oz) and a large ice latte. I left with a large chai, not "dirty," with no shot of espresso, and my husband got a burnt shot of espresso in his large ice latte, but it had no ice in it. I'm not sure what happened with this location, as the one in Summerlin is always consistent, but the one next to our house can't seem to get our basic order right--this isn't the first time, so I unfortunately had to come here to voice my concern on Yelp. We'll have to take a break from coming here, but we might try again in a few months to see if this review has made any improvements. My last call to action: please hire more staff and ensure your current employees are well-trained in both making drinks and customer service. read more

Very open space! The food they offered also smelt really good but I didn't grab any this time but next time I will have to try their famous Chicken Sandwich. The barista (Wilson?) I believe was very nice and accommodating after I told them it was my first they gave me space to look through the menu and decide what I want. I opted to get a iced latte with condensed milk and coconut. My friend for the special shaken tea, the apple vanilla spiced chai with almond milk! Iced Latte with condensed milk and coconut 9/10! The condensed milk helped with adding some sweetness, the first sip I got a good hit of caffeine. The coffee taste was strong and it was good, the coconut could be stronger for my taste but it was there. Apple vanilla spiced chai 0/10 - My friend said it just tasted like milk and no spice and no chai in it at all, which is grealy disappointing hopefully the other tea they offer can make up for it. read more

Foxtail is a coffee shop, less than 5 minutes from my home and a few days ago I got a chance to come check it out. I ordered the snickerdoodle cappuccino and my oldest son had the peppermint cold brew. We also got an order of fries to share (you can order food from the neighbor restaurant "Swine & Sons"). Our fries actually came out quicker than our coffees. Curly, seasoned and served piping hot -- delicious! Big box of them too for only being a side order. The drinks took a while due to how busy the shop was! Definitely seems to draw a younger, trendy type crowd...lots of students with their laptops set up working away. I enjoyed the vibes and decor a lot. My snickerdoodle cappuccino finally came out about 15 minutes after ordering -- so good! Tasted just like a warm, spiced cookie in liquid form. My son enjoyed his peppermint cold brew. The only flaw to my experience was the lack of room between tables to move about...even the spaces by the sales counter/line were extremely tight...very difficult for me to push my youngest in his stroller through the shop...seems like this could also cause problems for those in wheelchairs etc...so, if I have my baby, next time I will likely be using the drive through instead... read more

Idk if they changed management or got complacent but definitely miss the old Foxtail. My review yesterday ^^ Today just went to Foxtail again cause it's the closest. Been waiting in front of this guy for 20mins. And it's not his fault I saw he's giving back all the drinks they gave him same thing happened yesterday because paying for $7/$8 coffee and it being watery/milky is just not it. I was excited to try (and possibly buy a bag of) a light roast Ethiopian Guji pour-over, known for its bright, fruity notes, especially since they had several bags of it displayed on the shelves. After placing my order, I was told they didn't actually have it stocked to serve and was offered a substitute instead, which I accepted. I took the Colombian reluctantly since it was a medium roast and I wanted something light. Despite the store being empty, I watched the employees take 20 minutes to prepare the pour-over (something that should take less than 5 minutes in a coffee shop like this). While my coffee was brewing I saw the employees just banter around and honestly I was looking over every couple minutes because I have never waited this long for a coffee to be made. I mean honestly I could've marinated a steak and cooked it by the time my pourover arrived. I appreciate the care that went into this but it may have been excessive. When it finally arrived, the coffee was super burnt and overextracted. I don't think anyone taught the employees how to make this brew based on how this all went down. Why is it on the menu? On the plus side, the festive decor gave the space a cozy, inviting feel, but overall, the experience fell short. TLDR; don't get the pourover. This spot has a very cute farmhouse rustic vibe. I came with my husband he ordered a Rose Lemonade and I got the Ginger Turmeric tea both were very fresh tasting & the lemonade was not too sweet, just right imo! I also got a Blueberry Muffin, and despite looking like it had been sitting out was soft and fresh! Service was friendly. There were a lot of seats and folks who were there on their laptops, so this is a great place to work/study. My friend and I each ordered an Iced Maple Brew Coffee, a Lemon Slice, and a Falafel Wrap just for myself. We were given a number to take to our table. Our order was messed up at first when they gave us the wrong drinks, and when I checked the receipt, it turns out the employee misunderstood and put in one of their other seasonal drinks. I confirmed with my friend that I said the right thing when I ordered and he said he heard me say "two iced maple brew lattes." Nonetheless, they apologized and gave us the drink free of charge and correct the drink orders. My Falafel wrap came in 10 minutes and was pretty loaded with sliced beets, large pieces of falafel, and hummus, and chickpeas pieces. It was actually pretty darn good! I originally wanted to order their Kale & Apple salad but they were out, so I resorted to the Falafel Wrap and was not disappointed. The coffee shop is clean and has a great open aesthetic. The cold brew is absolutely delicious and the inside of this joint is set up in a way that provides a warm/inviting ambiance. They have bagels and breakfast sandwiches which are all solid. The ham and cheese sando is the fam favorite. The drive through helps for sure and offers flexibility. The one item here is the price is a tad high... but its a solid joint to hit up. read more
