Specialty Iced matcha
Vivian C.

I had been passing by the big sign outside The Gramercy for Couve Specialty Coffee for at least a few weeks before finally making it in. It's right off the I-215 Russell exit and I always saw that huge sign when we were in the area for appointments. It was a matter of time I'd finally try this place out! The parking is convenient and right outside the coffee place within a spacious lot. You can also access the coffee shop from the inside courtyard area on the opposite side. Upon walking inside, the first thing I noticed was that the vibe is very sleek and minimal, almost industrial, and they're always playing music that complements the look well. Service is great! Questions are always happily answered and I've always felt welcome in there, even with both my kids. The first couple times I tried this place, I thought the iced matcha was pretty good but not my favorite. It had too much going on with a cream foam and whatnot. I prefer a standard plain matcha where the quality of the matcha powder carries itself. No need for extra distractions. I thought this specialty matcha was the only matcha they had for a bit and actually decided I wouldn't go there anymore because of it. I figured since it was so expensive and I actually preferred cheaper versions elsewhere that were simpler, it didn't make sense. But I found out later, when I decided to try the place out again after a while when I was in a time crunch because of its convenient location, that this was actually their speciality matcha! The person who took my order this time I returned clarified that there was both a standard and specialty option. I was actually super happy to hear that. Not only did it taste way better to me, but it also saved me money. I will note that since they charge extra for the oat milk and sweetener, it all adds up, and the matcha still ends up being on the pricier side here. But I do actually like to come here more often now that I know I don't have to get all that sweet foam and stuff in my drinks anymore! Something else I must highlight aside from the matchas are the scones! They are amazing! Buttery, flaky-crisp edges, soft but perfectly firm insides. I've tried some of the other baked goods there like the banana bread. And those are good. But the scones are standout!

We found this place online and decided to make the drive. Zero regrets. What really stood out was how much the owner and staff genuinely care about what they're making. You can tell they're not just going through the motions. We tried both a mocha iced latte and a matcha iced latte, and honestly? These are the real deal. No artificial syrupy sweetness, no weird aftertaste. Just clean, authentic flavors that actually taste like what they're supposed to be. The mocha had this rich depth without being overly sweet, and the matcha was earthy in the best way possible. The space itself is really well done. Open, modern, minimalist vibes but still feels welcoming. Perfect whether you need to knock out some work or just want a chill spot to meet up with someone. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for quality coffee that doesn't cut corners.

Excellent. I mean excellent Tahitian vanilla latte

Couve!!! Wowser excellent coffee shop. First off the place is beautiful. Just enough design but quality materials. Details. Everything done right The machine was so nice. Special proprietary machine done for them Tahitian vanilla latte with vanilla cream top. Not too sweet. So balanced. You can really taste the quality. Nice lingering vanilla flavor. This place is just too good. And house made syrups. If you love coffee and love quality. Couve is a must stop. Might be more pricey but definitely worth it Might be one of my new fav coffee shops

Clean minimalist restroom; 1 of 2 gender neutral on site.

Finally tried Couve earlier today and we were very pleased with our experience. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the beautiful aroma of coffee they roast on site and the barista offered us a friendly welcome. Since it was our first visit, she walked us through the menu and even shared some details about how everything on the menu is made in house, with the exception of the milk options. My husband chose a macchiato, which he said had a nice subtle flavor and low acidity. I opted for the signature Couve Matcha which is made with a specialty rice milk, their house-made french vanilla syrup, and topped with a sea salt cold foam. I don't typically order vanilla matcha lattes since I make a pretty great one myself at home, but Couve's matcha was lovely. The rice milk added a unique flavor and the quality of matcha they use is of high grade and offered a subtle sweetness to counteract the bitterness matcha typically has. They do also offer house made cookies & scones, but we didn't try any this visit. I loved the very minimalist and clean décor. It felt upscale, yet welcoming. Seating was comfortable. There are also 2 gender neutral restrooms, both minimalistic, including lack of a mirror which I kind of liked. Parking was also ample. I'm sad this is 30 minutes from my house, otherwise we'd likely be regulars here. Looking forward to our next visit :)

This is not your average coffee shop! Upon entering, the space is simple, clean, and modern. There's no menu board, only a sheet on the counter with some samples of the day's cookie & scone offerings. The bar and barista prep areas are so simple, with only the espresso machine and a few odds and ends sitting out. It feels so mellow compared to the chaos behind the counter at most coffee spots in town. Service was friendly, and we were given a quick rundown of the menu and offerings as it was our first visit. I opted for the macchiato, which was great, while my wife picked the signature Couve Matcha which she quite enjoyed. I look forward to trying their signature Vietnamese coffee next visit. If you're looking for a no-frills, quality cup of coffee or matcha, this is one of the best spots in the Southwest Vegas valley.

A really intimate experience! Baristas explained the origins of each ingredient and brought the drinks to us. The coffee was significantly better than the matcha. Coffee: smooth, creamy, perfectly sweet. Matcha: kinda watery

The drinks were definitely worth the price. Everything felt intentional. The employee helped us pick our drinks and he explained everything great! We got the couve matcha, couve hojicha, and strawberry latte. The matcha was definitely a great treat. The cookie was thick like a brownie and was great to share.

Met a friend here and ordered the strawberry matcha with the matcha macadamia nut cookie. The strawberry matcha was great but hard to stir with no straw. The matcha cookie was overcooked in my opinion and tough to eat. This could be a personal preference but I like my cookies softer, not hard. I really appreciate that they don't use seed oils and gums in their products. The ambiance is odd in the store, but it makes the place unique. My friend accidentally spilled some of her drink and they didn't have napkins so we had to sit there until they had a chance to use a towel to clean up the spill. I think having some necessities would be helpful for customer service.

Viet Coffee tasted great! I really enjoyed the flavor and you can count on that this cafe will make equality beverages. Although very minimal coffee shop. Not your typical coffee on the go. Small menu, limited seating, long wait time for your beverage if it gets busy. Over priced beverages- It didn't feel inviting and almost felt like they weren't ready to open since it was so empty inside but that was the style. It was great to try once. Will I be back? Probably not. $9 for a Viet Coffee was a good one time shot for me. It doesn't help when Starbucks is right there. Small location, Lots of parking. Check it out if you are in the area.

They serve solid drinks here. I really enjoyed the foster latte, which is their take on bananas foster. My husband ordered the tiramisu and really liked it! Apparently they made it incorrectly the first time, but we couldn't even tell the difference! The barista came over with a brand new one without us even noticing. Now that is attentive service I can get behind! I would like to come back to try some of their matcha drinks. The space is also large and clean, but it wouldn't hurt to have some more organic touches, perhaps a weekly floral arrangement to liven up the space? Holding back on one star because of the steep price point for a latte, it was rather expensive.

I saw this new cafe on social media and was excited to try it but ended up being disappointed. The drinks are overpriced and the quality was just alright. $1 for a splash of syrup is very pricey as well. We got the Couve matcha and hojicha which were $9/each. The matcha has a cream top and their house made Tahitian vanilla syrup. Simple syrup isn't an option here. They serve it in a 16oz cup and all I tasted was milk and vanilla. It definitely needs more matcha for this big cup. The cream top goes away after a few mixes so I couldn't really taste it. The hojicha was too milky as well. It wasn't as roasty as I expected and this drink was just okay. This is probably the most I've paid for a matcha and hojicha latte. This place was a little hard to find cause they don't have a signage in the front. Just look out for #170.

tiramisu latte, couve matcha, chocolate chip walnut cookie

stopped by in the beginning of december. very minimalistic setting, not a lot of seats. service was very friendly, an employee walked us through the menu. we got the tiramisu latte, couve matcha, and the chocolate chip walnut cookie. i thought the drinks were just okay. a bit pricey for the size they come in but they use a lot of quality ingredients. the latte was on the stronger side (which my friend liked) and the matcha was lacking matcha flavor. the cookie was really good! unfortunately don't see myself coming back, however.

Located between Karved and Komi. Suite #170

Couve offers drinks made with high quality ingredients and much attention to detail, however the outcome is an expensive product with average taste. I've tried two of the lattes over two separate visits. The Foster and the Tiramisu Latte. The coffee is quite smooth with low acidity and no harsh bitterness. But the drink is very milky and does not have a strong coffee flavor, and just tastes watered down once the ice starts melting. I'm sure it's high quality coffee, but it's hard to tell as the coffee flavor is diluted by the milk. Service is very attentive. They'll take the time to explain the menu and background of roasting coffee and meticulously make your drink (which can make the wait time quite long if it's busy). They personally walk and deliver the drink to you which is a nice touch making it feel very craft or artisan. The employees are friendly overall, however it somehow feels a little ingenuine and comes off a little forced. Not so much welcoming coffeehouse vibes and more like art gallery. This somewhat aligns with the decor of the place. It had a very modern aesthetic, very white, clean, and minimal. Their coffee roaster is on display and they have a couple seats. The drinks are quite expensive, which I don't mind paying if the product justifies itself. They use high quality cow milk (or substitute koji oat milk), roast the coffee fresh and use a good espresso pulling technique, use nice ice cubes and house made syrups, however I guess the execution is not quite there flavor-wise. I really want to like this place and will probably give it one more try to get their matcha or hojicha or even try the coffee black and scones. The Foster Latte -- 3/5 * Supposed to taste like a bananas foster, but the flavor is extremely light, just a whisper of banana essence with some sort of cold foam topping and overall not much flavor of anything else characteristic of the dessert, like caramelized sugar. The banana lattes at Asian-inspired coffee shops are much better if you're looking for this type of drink as they usually use homemade banana milk. Tiramisu Latte -- 3.5/5 * Mostly just tastes like a vanilla latte, with a very light natural vanilla flavor. There is some sort of tiramisu cold foam or cream topping which adds some creamy richness but does not taste like much. Very milk-forward. It's topped with cocoa powder and ladyfinger cookie powder, but the ladyfinger powder also is quite flavorless and doesn't add much to the drink other than some texture. The place can be a little hard to find. It's Suite #170, between Karved Rotisserie and Komi Hair Salon. You can enter from the front or back.

I was confused, so I asked, "So the scrambled eggs aren't real eggs?" She replied that they're "not shelled eggs" and that "everyone else does this." At this point I'm confused as hell. I asked if the $2 meant I was getting the regular scrambled eggs plus over easy eggs. She said no. So I told her, "Okay, just make it the way you normally make it." When I got my food, I asked about getting the $2 upcharge back since I ended up getting the burrito exactly the way it normally comes. She told me they had already made it and she wasn't giving me my $2 back. I politely said, "Not a problem, have a good day," and left. And to be clear, this is NOT about the $2. It's about the principle and the customer service. For a $15 burrito, refusing to refund a $2 upcharge for something I didn't even receive makes absolutely no sense. I'd heard about this place for years but never had the time to go inside and enjoy their coffee…read morewhich was how I wanted to experience it for the first time. I could have stopped in and gotten coffee to go anytime but I had heard from so many people it was a great place for enjoying your coffee and the atmosphere. I've been to a LOT of coffee spots in Vegas. I LOVE coffee and discovering new spots that check all the boxes is one of my favorite Yelper things to do! Here's the breakdown. Dining-Seating Area: pretty status quo as far as coffee houses go. Combo of tables for 2, high top seating and a cozy couch-chair combo with a coffee table towards the back. I chose to sit at a table with 2 large leather chairs. When I sat down my chair sunk quite a bit. The seat cushion was pretty worn out. Not uncomfortable necessarily, but "worn in" for sure. The table was in good shape and very sturdy. Cleanliness: The area and overall seating area was clean. I used the restroom also which was clean and well stocked with all you would need. Vibe: There was your standard coffee house music in the background. Liked that. It was day time and there was a lot of natural light coming in from the many floor to ceiling windows lining half of the room. There was soft lighting throughout and the decor was warm with a cool floating shelves situation above the counter where the baked goods display is. Customer Service: This is where this place really shined. The young lady who took my order was friendly and polite. She took my order and delivered it to my table. She even brought me a little extra almond milk for my Americano in case I need more. When I was leaving I wanted to order a coffee to go and she kindly offered me a refill to go free of charge. Very kind of her. Coffee: Of course the most important part right? On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 8. It wasn't too bitter & it was served hot (not lukewarm) which is an absolute must for me! The oversized cup was filled to brim with the delicious brew! I don't get fancy drinks. My standard is a hot Americano with almond and sugar vanilla and this was exactly what I got and it was delicious. Areas to improve on: No Wifi. I guess it was not working. I had planned on answering work emails on my laptop while I enjoyed my coffee which wasn't possible. Uncomfortably warm inside. I'm not a hot blooded person by nature. Usually freezing indoors when the AC is on overdrive during the summer. It was really warm inside. If I was warm, I know others must have found it uncomfortable. Would I come back? Yes! I enjoyed my Americano & the customer service very much. I would come back with a friend to enjoy hanging out but I wouldn't stop here to catch up on work due to the lack of wifi. No biggie
