Saw this place on IG. I thought I had in mind what I wanted but changed my mind when I saw the menu. Something I've never seen before. Iced Orange chiffon latte - orange, rose, honey topped with house cream and coriander. I wouldn't say it's my favorite. A but watered down. If you give it a second, you could taste all the ingredients and spice bits of orange bitters.

Yum!! Just discovered the banana cold brew latte. 10/10. This place is such a vibe and the staff are so nice. Please stop by and try all the lattes they have to offer. Such good quality!

Ordered this on DoorDash, and wow. I'm in my sea salt era right now, and the Second Breakfast Latte was delicious. It's a maple-cinnamon latte topped with house-made sea salt cream, and I got mine with almond milk and light ice. It's sweet, salty, and creamy. The cinnamon really comes through (I like a lot of cinnamon in...well, damn near everything). This drink is definitely on the sweeter side, so I think it's more of a cozy-day latte than an every day one. But it's unique, memorable, and comforting.

We love the avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, blueberry muffin, Pour Over and mocha.

This is our go to coffee place when we visit Las Vegas. Brandon was our server this time and he was so friendly and helpful. He also makes an amazing pour over. So many places don't use quite enough coffee, but this pour over was the best we've had! Besides the Pour Over, we also enjoyed a lovely mocha, delicious breakfast sandwich, and avocado toast. We might both get avocado toast next time, but I would have to ask them to leave off the red peppers. We also bought a blueberry muffin, which was very good and tried the little Beignet with berries. I think beignets have to be served really hot right out of the frying pan so we'll pass on those next time. We left with a bag of beans for our road trip. We'll see you in six months.

Banana Latte - Flavored with ripened bananas and topped with cream and crunchy banana chips, it is a sweet treat!

This was our second time at this coffeeshop. The drive-thru is convenient, and the wait was not too bad on a sleepy, hot afternoon of Vegas heat. Thoughts below: Roasted Almond Latte - Crunchy almond bits and a strong coffee made this drink a tasty choice. My husband drank it up fairly quickly. We both liked that it wasn't overly sweet and the almond flavor was not overpowering but complementary. Banana Latte - This tasted like an adult's version of a Korean banana milk drink. You could taste the rich coffee flavor that was infused with ripened bananas. The cream and crunchy banana bits on top made for an overall tasty and lightly sweetened latte. Ube Spanish Latte - This was purchased for my mother and was bright purple in hue as expected. She drank it up, and she usually loves Spanish lattes, so I assume it was good! Would persomally like to try this one next time since I love anything-ube and Spanish lattes. We will probably visit again for coffee when we are in the area!

Great customer service and strong coffee. The breakfast burrito was tasty and filling. Highly recommend this establishment. They also have dairy free options, including oat and lots of barista created options

This place was really cute. When I walked inside. It is decently sized and the Wi-Fi is clearly displayed! This was my first time here so the staff were really helpful in providing recommendations. We got the breakfast sandwich with spam on brioche I love spam and was a little bit disappointed with the thin slice of it, but it tasted very good. I also ordered the breakfast burrito which came with a very lime forward salsa it added a very interesting texture, but I think the salsa was needed in the burrito. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area and sit and work or grab a coffee with a friend.

Had the avocado toast and it was alright. I've definitely had better but I should have added an egg to boost the flavor. Service was great! The gentleman at the counter was very knowledgeable about the menu and all the drink options. Cute, quaint spot. There are high "tables" where you can just chill and work on your laptop

I come here every time I visit Vegas to buy some beans to take home and to get a latte. Today I chose a biscoff latte with oatmilk and it was delicious as usual. My absolute favorite beans to get was Sweet Venom (bought it for years) but unfortunately they don't have that anymore. I was told Sweet Antidote was similar is flavor so I will be trying those. Crossing fingers it's just as delicious. I like the Harry Potter vibe in this shop too.

Came here for bookclub! I ordered the strawberry matcha which was delicious, perfect amount of strawberry. Still cute inside even though they didn't have Halloween decorations.

After an unsuccessful try to get a nearby coffee shop, I really needed coffee for my class that day, so I found Bad Owl and glad I did. I got my usual order of Mocha with breve. It was earthy, a bit sweet but creamy and delicious. I think Bad Owl is now my new favorite neighborhood coffee place. The gentleman at the cashier was very nice. The chocolate muffin was not as good as the mocha. So I would come back for the coffee but not the muffin.

Ok so I'm here all the time. If they don't know me by now... I don't know what I'll say. I'll probably feel a bit hurt, not gonna lie. But I've somehow not reviewed this place... ever? Howww? Fixing this now. So let's talk about their Classic Flight featuring some bold choices: house espresso, cortado, banana cold brew latte (already a fav of mine), and Bad Owl's Brew. From not-sweet-at-all to the sweetest-of-them-all, this was a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth while also caffeinating to the max. Try it, try their avocado toast, and you'll thank me later.

Naughty Hedwig popped into my mind! Given the ambiance that included the audio music genre-specific playlist, I felt like I was sitting in a coffee shop that inspires a Harry Potter, D&D & modern vampire atmosphere. I ordered a breakfast croissant with no mayo with a side choice of yogurt and a dry cappuccino. The yogurt cup included a bit of sweetened oatmeal topping. The croissant was beautifully buttery, light, and flaky. I'm not a fan of American cheese, but in the sandwich, it was still complimentary. They also offer mozzarella cheese as an option. I would have loved a smoky cheese option (ex. smoked Gouda). Still, the croissant sandwich was very good. The dry cappuccino was very good as well. A distinct flavor to the coffee being used was fascinating and well received. There are two distinct restroom signs, which was fascinating, as I expected gender neutral signage, considering it's one stall restrooms and not multi- stall, and the environment feels all welcoming. The clientele was diverse; the age range varied. A few people with laptops gave a college student hangout vibe. A calm and inviting atmosphere. Coffee bean aroma testers! So cool! I've never experienced these. This was the first coffee shop ever having them and my first experience ever using them. Fun! Customer service was excellent. They were nice, efficient, and professional. I enjoyed the experience! I hope a Bad Owl flies over to the West Summerlin area of the city soon, as this location is not near my typical shopping area.

Is this a good place to study? If so is there a good amount of outlets?

It was empty when we were there although lots of drive-thru activity. Seemed to have plenty of tables for studying. Not sure about the outlets though.

Their webpage looks like all the other coffee roastery web pages I have looked at, and not in a good way. Can anyone tell me whether they sell fresh roasted light roasted coffee beans to bring home?

Although they're a little kitschy with the Harry Potter references, their beans are pretty decent. They do sell fresh roasted beans that are roasted in their facilities. They have only four types of beans they sell (some blends, some single-origin);… Read more

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!
