Finished lunch across the street and seen Sugar Bees Bakery so we walked in to check it out. We were greeted by friendly employees when we walked in and the establishment was not overly busy for a saturday around lunch. One of the employees was putting Biscoff Cookie Butter Cinnamon Rolls back into the display as I walked in, and we both laughed because she put them right in front of my face and I couldn't say no!! That's how good they looked. It was my first time ever, and within less than one minute I knew what I was walking out with. I snagged a cinnamon roll for $5, it was very large, delicious looking, and shareable for two. We devoured it when we got home and it was PERFECT. I wish I had the photo evidence, but sometimes you gotta eat first before the phone! We will be telling our friends about Sugar Bees and also be back :) read more

"Croissant of the week" gives us a huge variety of croissant options throughout the year. Some of the these specials are the Roasted tomato basil pesto and fresh mozzarella cheese 5/5, Figs caramelized onions and goat cheese 3/5, 3 cheese - feta, cheddar and parmesan 4/5, Artichoke, leeks and Boursin cheese 3/5, spinach and feta 3/5, apricot pistachio fresh rosemary and brie cheese 3/5, homemade date jam almonds and blue cheese 3/5, mushroom and Manchego cheese 4/5, garlic thyme cheddar 3/5...to name some we have tried. Hole in the wall bakeshop only open a few days a week. If you eat bread, you should be buying it here. It's a nice place to drop in, grab a pastry, and be on with your Saturday morning, too. The bakery is takeout only so plan to grab goodies for later. Or you could accidentally devour entire croissants in your car before driving away because they are too good to wait. They have a large selection for a small bakery. They have a variety of breads, croissants, scones, cookies, French macarons, cake slices, and brownies. They have at least half a dozen different types of breads, about a dozen flavors of macarons, and several types of croissants. The croissants are my favorite item here. They are flaky and buttery delights. Each week they have a special flavor like Gouda, thyme, and garlic. These specials are always crazy good. Their basic and almond croissants are also excellent. The French macaron flavors range from basic like vanilla to more interesting ones like creme brûlée and guava. They are all good! Not just flavorful, but they nail that perfect macaron texture. A little crunch on the outside with a perfect chewiness on the inside. They have oatmeal butterscotch cookies too! I love butterscotch, but it's not a common flavor. I always get one of these and it's delicious. I like that their baked goods have that homemade taste. Follow them on Instagram to check their hours because they are limited. They are usually only open Thursday-Saturday, but they do open as early as 7am! During the holidays they added Wednesdays to the schedule. I've tried more than once to visit Sugar Bee's in the past, but it's my own fault for always coming by when they are closed. (Currently, they are open Thursday through Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm.) I finally made it there during their opening hours. I was able to try their mini sourdough loaf, three different flavors of macarons, a slice of cake, and three different croissants. When I swung by in the afternoon, pickings were slim so I highly recommend everyone to visit in the mornings! They do require masks (as all places will require them tomorrow anyway) and they limit three customers at a time. The mini sourdough loaf is the perfect size to take on a picnic. I sliced mine up and took it camping that weekend. We toasted it a bit and added some eggs and we were eating gourmet out there. The three macarons I tried were the Salted Caramel, Passion Fruit, and Guava Lime. Our favorites were the fruit-flavored ones and the Little Gal barely let them breathe. The Salted Caramel was our least favorite. The cake slice was Creme Brulee and it was yummy! I also noticed they offer a croissant flavor of the week and this week's was Artichoke, Leeks and Boursin Cheese. I was able to grab the last one they had! I also picked up a Guava and Almond croissant too. Our favorite of the three was the Artichoke, Leeks and Boursin Cheese one and the Guava one. I usually only see fruit forward croissants, so it was nice to see a savory one and it was good and smelled great! Surprisingly, the almond croissant was our least favorite and usually it's my go-to flavor. It just wasn't to our liking. I went to find them on Facebook when I got home so I could follow them and see what future croissant flavors of the week would be. They also feature Macaron Monday, and I was really surprised with all the flavors they offered. Some of the prettiest macarons around, perfect for party trays! We celebrate our birthdays with Sugar Bee's cakes, hubby is obsessed with their scones, the littles love their perfect(fun flavored!) macarons, and I love their menu that has a few favorites every week, but, changes to add interesting and comforting items every single week! I wish I knew how long this bakery has been around, I can tell you I have been a patron since at least 2016. Their raspberry almond cakes have had me hooked since. I already knew this place had amazing sourdough (only served the first week of every month), other items though had not inspired me before to give this spot a full fledge 5 star review...until now. Dear god their creme brulee cake and their passion fruit, lime, strawberry cake are so amazing that I was like, that's it! These people will be the ones to make my cake the day I get married. The cake was so moist that you don't even need to let them sit out at room temp for them to soften. It appears the outer frosting is Italian meringue buttercream, which is the best butter cream ever because its so smooth and not overly sweet. The crème brulee filling is so creamy and totally captures the flavor it describes. The other cake has that wonderful acidity that you would hope for in those flavors. In addition to these two amazing cake slices, I feel the last time I tried their hazelnut crunch cake it had improved although it still doesn't have the same flavor explosion that these two pack. Also, I have not tried their macarons again after the last time when I decided that they ran a bit dry, and at times sweet for me. I did try their chocolate chip cookie though, and wow! It is so soft, and the chocolate was still all melty on the inside. I am so in love with this place, and their limited hours they are open during the week will keep my waist line from expanding to much. I do wish they did sour dough every week though. I can't believe I've lived in Vegas for 8 years (over half of that time in the Southwest), without ever stepping foot in this bakery! The bakery is very small and cute but provides all the necessities you'd need from a bakery. Staff is very nice, and they are definitely mindful of COVID. All COVID precautions in place. Good for them. Here's what we tried: Macarons - we got salted caramel, cherry vanilla, and guava lime. The texture was perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy gooey in the center. The cool temperature of the macarons really elevated the taste. Each was very distinct in its flavor profile. While they tasted good, I've had many better macarons on the strip. These were a tad too sweet to my preference. Cake - we had a slice of creme brulee. Omg that was the best slice of cake I had all week. The quality was that of a wedding cake. The flavor of the homemade caramel sauce and cream frosting was sooooo good. The cake was very moist. My husband and I were very impressed. Now that I know this place exists I would definitely buy a cake for special occasions from here. Bread - sourdough bread. This was probably the most surprising out of everything. The bread looked deceiving simplistic but was really high quality. Nice and crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy and flavorful on the inside. It made really nice sandwiches and toasts. All in all, this is a pretty good bakery. We stopped in to Sugar Bee's for a Yelp Elite Perk last week, and I can honestly tell you that I plan to go back again SOON! In addition to the goodies we got with the Elite perk (cake, bread, and 3 macarons), I purchased 2 of their croissant of the week (Artichoke, leek, and Boursin garlic and herb cheese) and 2 macarons. The macarons we purchased were: Yuzu: lemony, sweet, light, airy. Our absolute favorite macaron. Tiramisu: Incredible coffee flavor. Not overly sweet. Light, airy: perfection. The croissants were incredible. I can tell you, I waffled a little about buying two, I thought maybe my husband and I might split one...I'm so glad I bought two. I didn't want to share a single bite of this amazing, buttery, cheese, flakey croissant. I can't wait to go back to try more of their breads and sweets! I'm always in this shopping center and I always wondered about this bakery but it was never open when I passed by. Finally, I did some investigation and notice that they are open typically on the weekends. Knowing this, I finally walked in on a weekend and ordered some delicious croissants as well as a scone. For Thanksgiving we ordered a couple pies and everything that we have ordered from here has been delicious. We are proud to support this local business! read more

This is a hidden gem!. We discovered this thanks to Yelp. We received a sample box of macarons and of course bought a few extras. They had many different flavors it was hard to choose. We bought the Créme Brûlée, birthday cake, pineapple Mojito, Black cherry vanilla a few other flavors (my husband loves macarons). They were made with perfection. They had that slight crisp shell and the crème brûlée was my favorite. On the outside of the shell it had some browned sugar on it. The Ham and cheese croissant was light and flakey. We warmed it in the microwave when we got home. I wish I would have bought a few more. They also do custom cakes. This is a must is you love macarons. read more

So I've Passed by this bakery many times but have never gone in. Only because I'm always with my 4 kids and I don't often like coralling them out of the car, into a place, keep them quiet while we're out, and gather them up to leave. It's a chore. Anyway, when Sugar Bee's teamed up Yelp to host that was a win in my book! I have a major major sweet tooth, but I also am very busy (again, mom of 4) so I stick to my usual spots. But from now on, moving forward this place is at the top of my list! With our Yelp package I got a pack of 3 macarons. The peach was very refreshing, sweet and fruity. Very much like a real peach would taste like. They captured this flavor perfectly. The salted caramel had a gooey Center. All of us - kids included, had a bite of each and this one was everyone's favorite. The chocolate ganache was creamy and had a very subtle chocolate flavor so it was more my fiancé's fave. I will definitely make a conscious decision to order more macarons from here. I can't say no to a fancy French cookie. With the sourdough bread, we sliced it up for our toast to eat during breakfast and lunch. It was such a beautiful loaf I almost didn't want to eat it! It was a nice crisp outside and chewy inside. A very nice but not overpowering flavor. It was great with everything - avocado and bacon, cream cheese with fruit on top, and we even broke it apart and used it as a topping on corn chowder. The Yelp packaged included a slice of cake. I chose the creme brûlée but I actually didn't even get to try it. My mom is visiting and she ate the whole thing alone haha. So I assume that's an A+ on flavor! I also ordered the Nutella cake and the red velvet cake. The Nutella flavor didn't really pull through for me, but my kids loved it. It's honestly such a huge slice of cake that it took my kids about 3 days to eat the whole thing. The red velvet, ok the RED VELVET IS A MUST BUY!!! Every time you go here, you have to get it. I'm telling you, you won't regret it. I'm not trying to compare but if you've ever been to Cheesecake Factory, this cake is just as good and dare I say better. It doesn't have the white chocolate shavings as CF does but this cake is stacked and has the cream cheese filling. It does the job to hit the spot. I'm still drooling and dreaming over it. I saw that they do cake customizations so we'll go and pick up a cake from here for our next family birthday. I'm so very happy to have a bakery so close to home. We went to sugar bee's bakery yesterday for one of the Elite event and we received so many sweet and yummy goodies: 1. Sourdough bread: is perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Beside going to whole food to get this perfect bread, I will come here instead. 2. Macaroons: we got the Caramel, passion fruit and taro. They are quietly big and a lot of filling. However, they were really sweet for my taste, I wish they were little less sweet which will be perfect. However, if you like sweet treats, these are perfect. 3. Strawberry cake: it was light and creamy with nice tough of chocolate chips. 4. Croissant: butter and big. Also, they are warm and toasted. Yummy. I visited sugar bees bakery today for a yelp elite experience. I received a package filled with various Sweet treats. The first item was a few macaroons that I can't really say anything good about because I'm not a fan of macaroons in general. The other item was a loaf of sourdough bread that Paired well with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup that I had for lunch (Soup sold elsewhere). The last item was a slice of strawberry chocolate chip cake which was really different but in a good way. They also had nice size chocolate chip cookies that caught my eye. Tried this place out because of a yelp elite event and once I tried their creme brulee marble cake, I KNEW, that this was where I was going to order my birthday cake... and the rest of my family's - LOL. Came in during their limited hours and explained to them the type of cake I wanted a couple weeks before my pickup date. The lady taking my order wrote down my order details -- I left the design open and just explained that I wanted a flowers and a caramel drip. The flowers were extra cost but I didn't mind.
