Sweet Potato Bun, Taro Bun, Green Bean Bun
    Michelle Z.

Cute little bakery with attentive workers and a huge selection of Asian/Korean breads! Came at 9pm and there was still a large selection of items left. Paris Baguette and 85C nearby were mostly sold out of items at this point so i was super happy seeing the items still available here! If you come late at night you won't be disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are also super affordable - around $2-3 per bun. I got the sweet potato bun, green bean bun, and taro bun. Favorite was the green bean.

    So many buns!

My 600th review! Only wonderful things to say about this quaint family-owned bakery! Located on the second floor of the Chinatown Plaza, it's a bit tough to spot from the street, but their promising ratings on Yelp drew us in. The scent of fresh pastries hit us as we entered and saw a wide selection of breads and buns laid out on the tables. Cakes and other desserts were also stored in the chilled glass case. The gentleman (who I believe was the owner) was super friendly and told customers that he could box up some of the warm buns still cooling on the racks rather than just leaving us to select from the ones already packaged. Since we weren't going to eat them immediately, we did not need them to be warm, but truly appreciated the offer. He said that the breads and buns are of course best to enjoy the same day, but the quality would still be fine over the next day or two. With everything looking so tempting, we filled our tray and left with a variety of treats. + TARO BUN & MATCHA BUN: These two were my favorites! A generous amount of taro and matcha cream filled the soft pillowy buns. The cream had a rich milky flavor that I found so delightful. I tried to take small bites to make them last as long as possible, haha. The only thing that would have made them better would be pairing them with a cup of coffee or tea. + COFFEE BUN: A simple airy bun with a coffee flavored crust on top. This was okay, but became a bit dry on the second day, especially since it didn't contain a filling. + SWEET CREAM BUN: A long soft bun with pipes of cream sandwiched inside. There was not much filling, but it was enough, tasting like a natural buttercream... slightly sweet with a touch of salt. + RED BEAN BUN: A generous red bean filling was perfectly sweet, pasty and included some small pieces of walnut. I don't love walnuts, but they added a nice element of crunch. + CHOCOLATE MOCHI MUFFIN: I don't normally go for muffins at an Asian bakery, but the mochi aspect of it had me sold. With the mochi baked into the dough, the muffin had an elasticity and chew while still being light overall. Chocolate chips added pops of sweetness and the deep flavor of cocoa. You really can't go wrong with anything from here. Even if I made my selections blindly, I'm confident I'd still be happy with my picks. Thanks, Crown Bakery, for the scrumptious treats!

We stopped by this bakery before leaving Las Vegas to California, purchased $70 things for ourselves and friends. The pastries are very yummy and unique. I really enjoyed the blueberry Ube bun, and the strawberry cake is nice as well, it tastes like my childhood memories. My husband has a meaty pastry and he enjoyed it. The only thing I wanna complain is the staff seems new and didn't know how to make the drink I ordered, he mixed the espresso coffee bean powder inside the drink, it tastes like earth... so I changed another one. He also didn't know where's the packing box for the cake, takes like 10 minutes and then I said no need to pack. But overall, the store has nice space, the food tastes good and the staff were trying hard to help.

Owner was so kind and chatted with me as she made my coffee about being from Beijing. Selection was plentiful and the milk breads were classic. Open and clean space that is very inviting.

it was not busy at all when i came in, i love the variety of yummy pastries, sweets, and drinks. definitely a hole in the wall bakery !! macaroons are $2.50 each and pastries and bread prices range from $1.50 - $5.00. they do have unique cakes on display, which looked pretty cool. tables were clean, it seems like staff takes pride in cleaning their work area. i love the decor and staff was kind to me. cannot wait to come back !!

Mmm, Heavenly Baked Goods [Las Vegas NV] This bakery was one of my bookmarked places to visit in Las Vegas. We came on a Sunday morning. The bakery is located on the second floor. I'm not sure if this shopping plaza has an elevator (I'm pretty sure there is) but we parked close to the stairs which was to the left if facing the building. This is no ordinary bakery. The baked goods looked pretty and laid out nice and neat individually wrapped in shelves and baskets. I chose a Mocha Butter Bun while my hubby got something similar to a chocolate croissant. The sweetness of the cream inside my mocha bun was just right, not too sweet. They sold customized cake and macarons too. We came back a second time to purchase more goodies to bring home. The seating area in front includes long tables and a couple of cushioned chairs. I've seen guests relaxing while reading a book over a coffee drink and others enjoying breakfast while working on their laptops. Private lot with ample parking. Could be challenging during peak meal times. Lots of other restaurants and dessert places here. Review #3093

This cute little bakery on the second floor has amazing treats. Make the walk upstairs and make room for the delicious pastries and cake slices available to accompany with some good coffee. The service is kind, and they enjoy describing each individual item. I come here for birthday cakes all the time since they are not overly sweet like most American bakeries. TRY THE MOCHA SLICE! I'm telling you, you'll thank me later. There are many individually wrapped packages that are baked right there for you to take home and share the love. Hands down one of the best bakeries in town, they have been open for more than a decade so they continue to do things right.

Our pastry selection for the day. Strawberry Cream Saboro, Strawberry Custard with Fresh Strawberry, Salted Butter, Salted butter cream

Pastries are great and service is excellent, Selection is big with a lot of pastries to chooses from and drinks.

    Wide selection of baked items

Great selection of baked items - good prices - friendly and helpful staff that will explain any items you aren't familiar with.

I was really excited to finally check out this family-owned Korean bakery that's been sitting in the heart of Chinatown, Las Vegas since 2005! It's a hidden gem tucked away on the second level of a small strip mall (same plaza as Mochinut and Mr.Tofu). Right up the stairs and it's right there! My friend and I picked out a handful of baked goods to try, also because there's a card fee for totals under $10. Pecan Tart (4/5): The pecan topping was a little too sticky for my mouth, but I did really like the shell. Only thing is that it was a bit too crumbly and got all over my clothes. Sponge Cake (3/5): It was a little dry for my liking. Felt like it could use some butter and be fluffier/spongier. Butter Bread (4/5): Probably my favorite of everything I tried. The creamy filling was just right and not too sweet. A warm and crispy pastry is everything for me and it was perfect after popping it in the oven for a few minutes. Cookie Crumb Mochi Bread (4/5): While I really enjoyed this one, the red bean filling caught me by surprise. I took a second look at the ingredients and realized "red bean" was the first one listed, although I think it'd be helpful for "red bean" to be in the name and not just the description. Reading through reviews and flipping through photos, it seems like this is a common encounter for many others. Another thing is that the crumby topping is great, but after I put it in the toaster, it actually got softer. The warm and welcoming customer service was my favorite of all. They're super sweet and ready to help you the moment you step in!

Great for a first coffee or tea date. Was cozy and quiet.

Crown Bakery was the perfect spot for an after work meet up with a friend. We were initially going to meet at another popular coffee, tea and bakery venue but it was extremely crowded and loud so we decided to search for something else. After walking over to this plaza we found a few cafes with interesting options that looked worth visiting. We selected Crown Bakery because the drinks and pastries looked delicious and it was much calmer with a mellow vibe. I selected and purchased about 6 varieties of pastries to go and a matcha green tea with oat milk to enjoy with my friend during our visit . All pastries but one were yummy and the matcha was delicious . Bottom line, the pastries are delicious and fresh and the staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to order.

I missed out on their coffee though. I didn't realize til later that Gabi is Korean for coffee! Salmon brioche: This is a salmon toast. The salmon tasted very fresh and was lightly smoked. The ricotta cream cheese was light. Brioche was toasted perfectly to hold everything together. It was very good. Potato chowder: This was topped with bacon and shredded cheese. It was perfectly seasoned and not too salty like I've had elsewhere. As creamy as it was, it wasn't heavy. Ube cheesecake: This was delicious! Great ube flavor! The ube cheesecake was very smooth and creamy. There's a layer of ube cake on top of the cheesecake. So good! Butterfly latte: I paid extra for oat milk. What is butterfly anyway? It was pretty complex. It tasted like cotton candy and was slightly minty. I liked it. Yuzu omija: I think this was like a lemonade, or yuzumade. It was refreshing and also not overly sweet. I'm not usually a fan of yuzu, but this I can get behind.

Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it. Parking is easy and straightforward, and the café itself is absolutely adorable. If you have time, sit down and enjoy the experience.

I wish I'd bought four my last day in Vegas because Dad accidentally ate the one for Mom instead of his apple pastry ... and he said there wasn't any filling. Yes, there wasn't supposed to be filling in the crispy, flaky, cinnamon sugar dusted DKA! I first had Cronuts at Paris Baguette so I knew what I was about to experience back at the Grove in 2019. I ordered one here in Vegas and this month's flavor was coconut creme. Very light in flavor, same heaviness I've gotten used to from croissant donuts. They were also offering milk chocolate flavor this month that I wasn't aware of when ordering. I wanted to try the madeleines after gifting a friend the new IOTA hand cream made in partnership with DA himself. I ordered the lemon madeleines instead and was confused since they were coated in this earl grey white chocolate. The madeleine was drenched in maybe milk so it was so soft like tres leches with a lemon custard center. I went back the next day and ordered fresh, piped and baked to order mini madeleines-- twenty pieces for ~$12?! I should've bought at least two orders! And they smell just like the hand cream! So I went and bought myself the cream from ULTA to remember my DA Vegas breakfast runs while staying at Caesar's Palace. Also, my sister LOVES the pain au chocolat! She had it twice and probably should've bought more. It's pricey at $10 but worth the splurge. DKAs also run at $10 each. Get a nice four piece box as a gift for about $41. Oh! I forgot I bought three canelés. Ended up eating two of them. Opt for the bag instead of the box to save money. Custardy center with a chewy exterior, tastes a bit like slightly burnt brown sugar, in the best way possible. Finally tried the infamous chocolate chip cookie shot with steamed Madagascar vanilla milk! The cookie is warmed in their oven for ultimate melty chocolate-ness. I'm glad I shared this. Maybe I'll try the torched marshmallow ice cream bar one day. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Line goes by quickly. They have a few tables to sit at for a quick snack or breakfast.

I had also tried their butter squash soup (it's a seasonal item) and I also enjoyed it very much, it was rich and creamy and I wanted to drink a gallon of it. I like the concept of the egg sandos however it was difficult to eat and then became quite messy. So I'll pass on those in the future. I actually haven't tried their chocolate cake but my boyfriends manager loved it the first time I got it for her so I've gotten it a couple more times for her bcs she said it's the best cake she's ever had. Parking in this shopping center is crazy. I think a lot of ppl park across the street at the 99 Ranch Market and walk over. If you are dining in, they have outdoor seating as well. They do have a server but I believe there's only one so they are bringing out the food, grabbing stuff, cleaning off tables... but there's still some self service aspect as well so it might be more helpful if they either hire more servers or make it all self service and ppl go pick up their own food when it's ready. When I dined in, my mom and I had to wait quite a bit to flag the lady working to ask for boxes and stuff. All in all I enjoy this place and I like how they do seasonal items.

We first visited Moignet last year and really enjoyed it, especially the mango mochi with cream…read more The moignets themselves were good too, though not necessarily something that completely wowed me. We ended up coming back during our most recent trip because we were craving the mango mochi again, but this visit left me a little disappointed compared to our first experience. It felt like there was less cream this time, and the mangos were noticeably more sour than before. I personally think using Asian mangos would make a huge difference since they tend to be much sweeter and more flavorful. The shop itself is still cute and worth trying at least once, but I do hope the consistency improves because I know how good it can be!
