But they do have sales and sale prices are good. If you have shopper card, there are discounts. The vegetables looked fresh. I picked up what I needed. They had a great selection of funny greeting cards, I picked up a couple. I didn't get bread because I would have had to take out a loan. Check out is easy and clerks were friendly. Parking is tight as there are a bunch of stores in the same strip mall. I did find fairly close parking.

It was this latter where Texas stands out: they can fill it with a variety of fillings using a machine on every stoners wish list: it injects the donut with flavors. I got two chocolate glazed filled with Bavarian, and whitw creme, and a long john of Bavarian. The cream fillings were great, no trouble there. The donuts were.. different. Donuts have that progression, from air filled Krispy Kreme, to dense cake donuts, and used hockey pucks left over from 1987 Duncan Donuts. I like the airy kind, not so much as Krispy because that's too thin, but something with heft, but air pockets. Texas rides the line between pockets of air and density, and what it tasted like is that they had been airy at one point, but those pockets collapsed on themselves creating a hybrid airy/dense donut. Tasty, but not top of my list. That spot still belongs to Duck Donuts. It's possible the Texas donuts I had were sitting out a bit, or the creme filling caused a collapse of the internal donut structure. I'm not sure but I will go back to try the denser varieties to be sure. Very nice employees, calm and clean interior. Parking is tough, on a hill in tight spots, or down around the hill and climb some stairs.

I feel like phones can be used during downtime, but a customer deserves undivided attention. I feel like that's asking for the bare minimum.

It's very yummy when paired with whole milk. I also learned they have a new matcha mix and a new way of preparing the matchas, blended and whipped versus shaken for cold beverages. I added a chocolate cold foam to try the viral Dubai chocolate bar dupe and it was super good. I think in that recipe people usually add pistachio pumps but since the powder mix already has a sweetener I didn't do that. Highly recommend both beverages!

I spunned the wheel and won an Lidl key chain. While shopping, I brought 3 pastires, a case of bottle water. There were cherries on sale for $2.49 a pound. I had a healthy portion which came to almost $8.00. Lastly, I got coke zero. I used the self check out but could not use cash. Also, you need your own bag or buy a bag to take your groceries home for 15 cents. The check out guy was friendly and was going to have me go in the long line for cash customers. I quickly got my debit card out and swiped and left. Lidl is a huge store but I might be back before we leave to head back to Florida!

I recently moved to Manassas. today (07/14 around 1 pm) I stopped by with my 2 years old twins. It is already hard to manage them and the lady at the cashier was not helpful at all. She refused to accept my membership card or phone number when I asked where can I scan my membership. It was just after she finished scanning, before my payment. She said it is too late to scan and I should have scanned before she scan the items. I have never seen that before at any lidle. Even I shop there all the time. I said that is fine and scanned my credit card and left. Probably, she just don't even want to deal with my card because of her laziness. She needs re training. I don't think I will be nice to her next time if she does that again. I would have called her manager but my twins does not give a chance.

Be aware that this store is very deceptive when it comes to promotional coupons. We received a…read morecoupon in the mail for sweet frog; among the coupons, one states "buy one, get one free (of equal or lesser value)". We went in and filled two cups, one was a blue cup (large) and one was a green cup (medium). When we got to the counter, the cashier said "this coupon is only for pink cups (small)". The coupon states nothing about this rule; had we known, we would have filled up two pink cups. The other thing to note is that the store didn't state that they weren't participating in the promotion, just that it was for pink cups only. This feels deceptive because the coupon itself implies that you can have any size as long as the free size is of equal or lesser value (as stated on the coupon). It also seems a bit unfair because we already got to the front with our cups by the time we found out that the coupon was "only for pink cups". We don't go to sweet frog often, but we were excited to go for such a good deal. Now we feel deceived and discouraged to come back.
