The staff was usually very friendly and fast. Of late I have noticed that there are many different employees and they don't seem to like their job. This also reflects in the quality of the product. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this location has messed up my order too many times recently. They did not make my to go order correctly, and they did not include the side. I tried contacting corporate customer service, only to have the website stall on me on both the computer and mobile version. I hate writing bad reviews, but I got food poisoning from here which is especially disappointing as I am a regular customer at this location and have never experienced anything negative until now. I've done takeout and delivery from here twice in the last three days. For takeout, I got the Bahama Mama smoothie and jerk chicken bowl. The smoothie was great and my chicken bowl was also flavorful. Just wish it was packed with more meat throughout. For delivery, I got the Beach Bum smoothie and liked it very much in addition to the chicken caprese sandwich which was excellent. The only reason I gave this place a three and not a four is because when I did takeout and got home, I saw a small ant or some other small bug in my chicken bowl. Honestly, so many great things to say about this place, from the food and environment down to the staff. 1) The food here at Tropical Smoothie is extremely healthy, tastes really good, and leaves you feeling energized. (As opposed to a place like "Cava" which might be healthy but tastes like cardboard). I usually get the Supergreen chicken wrap and a smoothie with whey protein added from here. 2) The atmosphere here is upbeat, friendly and chill. The staff actually said thank you when I left a tip, which is really nice to hear since a lot of places don't really show customer service anymore. Every worker here was friendly and the manager said hi to everyone. 3) I got an important call and accidentally left my wallet here, with $2100 inside- when I realized and came back, the staff had the wallet waiting for me and all $2100 was inside, untouched, along with my wallet and cards. My credit card company confirmed they had immediately called my card to let them know the wallet was lost (they couldn't call me only because I didn't have a phone number inside my wallet). So SUPER TRUSTWORTHY staff. Can't say enough good things Bottom line, really healthy, great tasting food that you can literally eat every lunchtime and still be in shape. Friendly staff. Very trustworthy and appreciates your business. Everyone should come here often! To the other person who was implying they'd get his order wrong or not fix the issue- I honestly don't believe that at all. They returned $2100 to me. There's no way they wouldn't correct a mistaken order, there's no way they'd leave a client unhappy over $10 bucks. And chances are, they didn't get your order wrong- Uber Eats drivers are notorious for stealing food, that isn't the restaurant's fault. My favorite smoothie is the sunrise sunset, I have yet to try anything else because it's sooooo good . I like to substitute the orange juice for a different juice depending on what they have and it's always delicious. This location tends to have really good morning specials from I believe 7-10 am throughout the work week. My only issue with this is that it's not valid if you place a curbside order which sucks because with the pandemic I take full advantage of curbside orders. It's only for inside purchases. read more

UPDATE: The next day 23/JAN/2022 we did get a call from a manager who was not tracking why he was calling or what the issue was. After clearing up why we had an issue, he then stated he would review the security footage later to see if the food was placed in the bag. So not only is this location not bothering to correct a simple mistake, they are implying that we must be lying. So we are waiting for a call back after they review the security cameras. Either way, they didn't put the food in the bag or the drivers they contracted to deliver their food stole it...why is that my problem? Will he next want to see my credit score, my debt to income ratio and my medical history to determine if I am a thief or a liar? We ordered food from this place through their application and they made a mistake, we paid money and they took it and are not willing to make things right. This is the way it is now I guess. So I will inform others through my writing and take my money to other businesses. No big deal. This was a simple mistake to correct, getting in the habit of taking money from customers and not providing what they paid for is not a recipe for success in fast food or any other business. They will post comments like the one below, that is standard procedure for online customer support, which is really just the normal smoke screen provided to the public to hopefully not lose customers over a mistake they made. I don't encourage anyone to order online from this location, take your own chances and risk wasting your own money. I am the idiot in this case, I choose to shop again at a place that didn't get it right the first time. 1 star for the lack of customer service and common sense, I ordered 2 smothies using the app while I'm driving, when choosing curbside pick up the app asks for the type of car and the color, when I arrived to the restaurant I parked right in front of the restaurant, so maybe someone could see me and come to ask me if I needed to order or had already ordered, well the owner and the 2 employees were very entertaining talking, I had to go in and get my order, and tell them that there was no point of setting the type and color of car since they did not have the disposition to serve, I went to my car with my order, and 1 minute later the owner came out in person with a ticket in his hand claiming that It was my mistake, oh yes!!
