The pre-cut, pre-packaged bread was a little dry, but it was a good buy at $3. The cannolis were pretty good. I shell had a little bit of a brittleness to it, but it wasn't dry. The filling was quite good. I couldn't quite tell what it was, but the one with the orange-ish filling was my favorite. The cannolis are $2.50 each.

This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. While we were waiting for our drinks we sat at this really cute window nook and just took in the peacefulness. The server was very helpful with tea selections and knew which teas paired with what flavours. I got the non caffeinated tea (picture) with honey, no sugar, with grassy, and no ice. My wife had a mango tea with foam. Our drinks were perfect. I love that it was zero fuss. Surprisingly not very busy but we did just have a killer snowstorm. This bakery is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I had no problem finding a parking spot coming from work. Sadly, all the Portuguese egg tarts (natas) were sold out when I had arrived at 5:30 pm. However, I did manage to get a pistachio loaf that looked yummy and ended up taking it home. I have had the following items at this place: - Iced latte - Portuguese vanilla custard-filled donut - Ham and cheese croissant My iced latte was awesome. The woman at the counter asked whether I wanted sugar. I declined it, which made this drink perfect. It was cold. The coffee was smooth. It had the perfect amount of milk. I loved it. My vanilla custard-filled donut came out next. It was cut in half, so I admired all the custard in it. It had sugar around it that was the only sweetness that I got from it. The custard had a mild vanilla flavour and had little sugar, which I appreciated. The donut was more on the egg side of things. If you don't like that eggy taste, it may not be for you. I personally loved how different it was compared to regular overly sweet donuts. My ham and cheese croissant had arrived. When you order a croissant warmed up, it gets pressed in a panini machine. It was different, but it worked. There was a single slice of ham and another slice of cheese in this croissant. It was yummy, but I was yearning for more filling. The croissant had a different type of flakiness when it was pressed to death. I used the washroom before I headed home. Staff here were constantly cleaning tables, chairs, and the washrooms during my visit. The women's washroom is a single stall and it was super clean. My pistachio loaf came up to $8. I paid with a debit card. I tipped and tapped. Done! There are nuts on top of the pistachio loaf, but not in the loaf itself. The loaf was closer to a pound cake, but without a whole lot of moisture. It also had a hint of vanilla or some other extract in it. It wasn't sweet, but it did require downing it with a drink. I ended up taking half of the loaf and making French toast out of it. When I inquired about a return policy, she contacted John (I believe the owner) to clarify my question. I originally purchased a Pixie Nespresso (with milk frother) and decided a few hours later to change it to a different model after visiting the Nespresso website. This was handled efficiently and without any issues. Good selection of coffee makers from differing manufacturers (Saeco, Illy, etc) and Teresa knew the merits of each. She was not pushy in any way and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted......even offered me an espresso so I could compare quality between different companies. Friends (who live out of town and who own a Keurig coffee maker) always make a point of stopping here (when in town) to pick up assorted coffee (they sell individual cups rather than having to purchase a whole package). They say the price cannot be beat and the selection is huge. Location is in the back of a plaza and not visible from the street...but it's worth looking for.
