My issue with visiting a 7-Eleven is that there isn't one close by where I live. Markham no longer has a store. The closest one by my home is in Pickering. It's not exactly five minutes away! On weekends, I often travel along Rutherford Road. There are two 7-Eleven stores on this road that bookend Highway 400. I decided to try the first one that I hit after work going eastbound last Thursday night, which was this one. There is plenty of parking. I managed to back into a spot. This store has a gas station. Prices are cheaper in this area than the GTA in general. There were lots of pumps available at 7:30 pm. I walked in and looked at the beverages in the fridge. There were great deals on pop, which I love. There's a new orange sorbet Coke. I stood there looking longingly and happily at the bottles. A orange Coke float in a bottle was a dream to me. I snapped out of my trance and got two. The cashier at the counter was great. I paid and had my 7Rewards barcode scanned on my app. Points earned and preserved. Mission accomplished! I grabbed my cold bottles of pop and cheerfully headed back to my car. The chicken wings and nuggets smelled so good. Had I not had dinner, I would have bought some. The hot foods are pretty good at 7-Eleven if you're in a rush and need to get rid of your hunger pangs. I'd come back here again. I like this 7-Eleven. Traffic does get crazy in this area, as there are box stores five minutes away. It's also roughly ten minutes away from Vaughan Mills and Canada's Wonderland. (364)

I was driving along the latter and turned right into the Esso gas station. This Circle K is a part of it. I had no problem finding a parking spot in front of the store. I backed my car into an available spot and walked in. You see a Tim Hortons on the left when you walk in. It was doing steady business at around 8 pm. The Froster selection was decent. I was able to choose from eight flavours. I ultimately got a small orange Crush Lite and Mountain Dew Spark Froster. The Polar Pop machine also had an impressive assortment of flavours. It's a good store for beverages, including bottled and canned ones. I also got a package of peanuts. Free items make me happy. I had a nice man at the counter who helped me scan my coupons. Done! In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

The carwash is awesome. Touch-less and except for the back of the van gets the cars clean. I try to use this feature every time I fill up in the winter. There can be huge lines so timing can be important. I never eat or drink at these places. so I cant speak to that. But if you need some chips or a hot coffee this place has got that for you. Lastly, I like the EasyPay system. no fuss no muss. Shell's system works really well, including things like the car wash. Just don't loose the FOB. Now... should we start a complaint around this ethanol as additive? 10% added? this is a sham. At least shell tells you the percentage of each grade of fuel.

Markham doesn't have any. I have to venture out to either Vaughan or Pickering to find one. On my way home from work, there are two 7-Eleven stores that I can drop by. Sadly, they both didn't have Japanese-style egg sandwiches when I was last on a quest to get one. They were introduced recently and I wanted to get a sandwich to enjoy. I walked into this store after fuelling my car and paying for gas at the pump. I wanted to check it out. I saw frozen treats in a long fridge. The 7-Select churro cookie ice cream sandwich caught my attention. It sounded amazing and deadly! I was mesmerized by the fresh fruit next to baked goods. It's nice to have options, whether you feel like crunching on an apple or getting an apple fritter. It seemed like a mirage seeing many Japanese-style egg sandwiches above the subs and wraps. They were real. I picked one up and headed to the counter, beaming that I got an elusive egg sandwich. I got a cheerful woman who scanned my sandwich. She asked me if I had 7Rewards. I did. I pulled up the barcode from my 7-Eleven app and had it scanned. Done! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I thanked her and left with my sandwich. I had the sandwich at home. The crusts were cut off. The filling was generous. It was yummy, but I felt that it was missing something. Maybe it's because I make fancy egg salad at home with green onions. Another petrol station that is usually less than average price…read more I found this place on my way to Monarch Park one day and their regular price was 116.9 while all the other petrol stations I drove by was at 123.9 This station is super small though, and with its prime location at the southeast corner of Danforth and Greenwood, traffic comes from both streets and it can get a little bit crazy like it was for me when I stopped by. If you're in the area and you see this station is cheap, you just need to get in!
