Always a good selection of produce, baked goods and meats. Also, recently, they upgraded that pesky elevator that used to be out of order all the time! Parking is free for an hour (lot off Cedarvale). The nicety is, you can probably do a lot of errands at once at this location. There are 4 different banks at the corner of Woodbine and Danforth and a variety of other stores as well. They carry a good selection of President's Choice products, including the Premium line. In spring/summer, they have a great garden centre in the parking lot mentioned above.

It's also good for drivers as they have a little parking lots around the back, then you can go into the store through a back entrance instead of w3alking all the way around the block. Bonus. My go-to location that has hot drinks is in Scarborough by Malvern Town Centre. However, I did a search and found this location that is just south of ZeeV's Nutrition Studio, which I frequent regularly. Perfect! This Circle K is located in a large plaza. Shoppers Drug Mart and KFC anchor it. I backed into a spot and walked over. I found the hot beverage machine. The man behind the counter was extremely attentive. "Are you redeeming a coupon?" he asked me. "Yes," I replied in front of the machine. "Let's scan it first. Sometimes, it doesn't work," he added. I headed to the counter. He scanned my digital coupon. It worked! I got a hot chocolate. He watched me fill my small cup up with chocolately goodness that smelled divine. l didn't spill. I was looking for a lid. He let me know where it was. I thanked him. Some may feel that this guy monitoring my moves was borderline creepy. Frankly, he was extremely helpful that I didn't mind it. I went to look at the cold beverages. I found A&W diet root beer. I got two bottles of it. I paid for my drinks with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I wished him a good evening and headed out with my goodies. The hot chocolate was delicious. I have a weakness for hot chocolate. Luckily, I don't have it regularly. The small size hit the spot. I love root beer The fact that they were A&W and diet made my day. I loved it. I had a great experience. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area again. (135)

One of the prizes includes free or $1 coffee, but can be redeemed for a tea, specialty coffee or hot chocolate. Many of the Circle K locations have Tim Hortons built within them. This location is a free standing convenience store, which has a coffee machine available. The staffer was friendly and asked us to scan our barcode before redeeming our free beverage. My nephew was with us, so he opted for the hot chocolate. It's pretty standard machine hot water-based hot chocolate but you could add creamer or milk if you wanted to make the drink creamier and less sweet. I also discovered that they carry Circle K branded spicy dill rippled chips, which is something I haven't seen at the other Circle K locations that I frequent. This store seems to be pretty well stocked and offers some refrigerated food options, unlike some of the gas station affiliated locations.

Tip: The tiramisu is awesome!…read more The first Whole Foods Market that I ever visited was this one in Yorkville. It's kind of funny to me that I had a couple of job interviews in the area and then decided to grab lunch at a supermarket that doesn't exactly scream discounts. I need a job to support my love for organic avocados and croissants! Before I got my current job, I was looking for work. I had interviews that spanned a couple of months. I drove down to Yorkville both times and parked in a lot. I went to each interview. Afterwards, I was hungry and hit this Whole Foods. The salad bar had my name all over it. There was also tiramisu and I got a box for my rectangular slab. I then went to pay for everything. For some reason, I didn't dine there. I ate in my car instead, which has been my usual thing for years. I remember how happy I was that the interview was over and I could indulge in fresh mixed greens, some salad dressing that had the best citrusy flavours, crispy cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and sweet corn kernels. I also remember stuffing by face with the best tiramisu. The mascarpone was heavenly with the lady fingers, cocoa, and more. I was so happy. I should have bought an entire tray of it just for me. I returned after my second interview and had an egg salad sandwich. Simple. Yummy. Perfect. The bread was seedy. It was so good. It hit the spot. I haven't been back here since I landed my current job. It may be a good thing. I still love Whole Foods. Markham has been graced with its own and I frequent it often. Coincidentally, I was there this evening. I'm glad that this store is still alive and kicking. It'll always have fond memories of post-interviews and yummy eats. (462)
