    Deluxe hot chocolate

This fortinos is amazing, especially after all their renovation. The food is super fresh and the customer service has been nothing but good. Just got a chance to try their deluxe hot chocolate recently, and that was a pleasure. Honestly, loving coming here to shop and especially for buying flowers!

I spotted this new supermarket as I made a left turn from Highway 27 onto Finch Avenue West. I was…read moreheading to Wok of Asia to have some dinner. I needed to pick up a few grocery items, so dropping by Food World Supermarket afterwards was perfect. This building used to Rose Garden Banquet and Convention. I'm guessing that due to the pandemic, this business suffered and shut down. There is plenty of parking in front and around this supermarket. I backed into a spot and walked in. The doors automatically open, which is wonderful. This supermarket is located across from Burger King. I often frequent it when I crave a flame-broiled burger. Both are in the same plaza as Wok of Asia. It's clean and cheerful when you first walk in. You see cases of pop and sparking water. The produce section then greets you. I needed avocados and celery. Prices are either comparable to what you see at grocery stores like No Frills, but the quality is better. Both produce items that I grabbed were fresh and in great condition. This grocery store carries halal items. It features a lot of South Asian products, such as Parle-G and paratha. You also see ramen and Ribena, both of which made me love shopping at this store even more. I saw everything from custard to paneer. It does sell corned beef in cans and rose water in glass bottles. Cool! The meat section is impressive. It's huge with every cut of meat that you can possibly think of. You can get food to go. There's a stall within the supermarket where you can get pizza, shawarma, and more. I paid for my produce. The woman at the checkout was extremely pleasant and nice. I paid with my debit card. This store gives you a plastic bag. I thanked her and headed to the exit. Just before you exit, there's a stall that sells desserts, ice cream, drinks, and more. I asked the woman behind the counter whether their drinks have added sugar. They don't. The store goes with the natural sweetness of their fruit or veggies. I wanted to get the sugar cane and coconut hydrating beverage. She had run out of coconut, so I got a large sugar cane drink. As she made my drink, I looked at the desserts display. There were individual portions of chocolate mousse cake and sponge cakes. You can also get milkshakes, ice cream, and more. She asked whether I wanted ice in my sugar cane drink. I said as much as the cup could fit the ice. It was perfect on a hot day. I asked the nice woman how long this supermarket has been open for. It opened on May 18th. I paid with my debit card. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my groceries and drink. The sugarcane was indeed the real deal. It was naturally sweet and yummy. I was happy with my drink. It was nice consuming it as I drove home. Whenever I was in the area to grab some dinner, there was never a supermarket close by to get a few grocery items. It's definitely more convenient now thanks to this Food World. (174)

I realized at home I forgot the Jaggery box at store as we looked for it in car, store room and house everywhere but didn't found it. Later I walked to store and told a lady at cash counter about it, I gave completely describition of the item and branding with price ( it's was om india brand white box and price was $9) lady took my details including credit card no. , name, phone no. And I have even showed her proof of transaction done with it. She told I have to check camera and will give you a call. After several days I never got there call I again went to store asked for tht lady, unfortunately I don't know her name but gave completely description about her, the sales girl told she doesn't work today and I cannot give her name and contact info. I was like fine I walked away I didn't care about it much, even after that I have been that place for multiple times as I liked the fresh vegetables from this store. Recently, on Tue I visited that place and luckily I found that lady in the store I told her do you remember about it, she is like no it's your duty to come and ask for it and all rubbish. I told her in $9 I will never became rich or poor. I didn't care abut that, but the point is these is what customer service you provide to loyal customer. I can show you transaction like how often I visit this place, I have met couple times the owner of the store but never bother about it as its not a big issuse for me. But I got pissed of from that lady as she wants to argue with me in rude manner that it's your mistake you have to come and see it's not my duty to call you then my question was why did u said I will check camera and will give you a call after that. Owner of the store Jayesh Patel this is what customer service you provide us and for $9 Jaggery box you won't me come and see for this lady everyday. Is this what you care for a customer...?? If you can look into it...??

Absurdly yes. Is it worth it? If it fits in your macros, then yes. This cake is delicious and cheap. I ain't gunna lie. It's like if Wonderful Pistachios married a twinkie. This cake was $28 + tax. Definitely great for parties and not for eating yourself . it's definitely on the sweeter side, so I wouldn't share with your Asian moms. They're going to complain it's too sweet. But overall pretty good if you're bulking or don't care about calories. Shoutout to the cake people. Their service is great and nice, and they even decorate the cake box with ribbons. The cashiers leave much to be desired, but I guess this isn't Costco lol. Ambiance feels like a European grocery store at the size of a warehouse store. Deli had hot food and cold salads but no protein based salads. Ended up getting a small premade pasta salad, a trio of hummus, and prepackaged grilled chicken breast strips. Nothing was great. Looks like they have a plentiful produce section and a bakery. Aside from that, less than optimal grocery store. I would not recommend stopping here if you shop at other places. If this is your usual spot, you already know what's good/bad about it. Bring your own bag or buy one when you check out. Bathrooms are near checkout, they're decent. Plenty of parking on both sides of the store.

The first two items were Yogurt and Five Alive. These were price matched without any problems because they were identical items. However, the head cashier (one who was doing the override) refused to price match the Armstrong cheese. The Walmart had the 500 grams marble brick for $3.94 and the No Frills had the 500 grams rectangular marble. According to the Head cashier, the shape of the packing was not the same. If No Frills is going to offer price match for groceries, then why didn't they price match the cheese. As a consumer, the cheese is identical ( company, weight and even the fat content etc.) except the shape. I would dare the Head cashier to tell the difference between the cheese besides the shape. If I get any type of response from the management, that the cashier didn't know. It will be totally unacceptable. The Head cashier was a 50 something lady. It was not a young Head cashier with a week on the job. In the future, I will not be going to No Frills. I will either go to Wal-Mart or Fresco. They price match policy is no questions asked. I wonder what will happen if I had to price match fresh produce. Then the reasoning for not price matching would be that the produce is not from the same country!!!!!
