I used the ATM often until it was removed. Now I rarely go inside the market. The interior of the store is clean but the aisles are tightly spaced. So it felt cramped during the time I often frequented it. There is an adjacent Dunkin as a part of the building. I'm sure that's a draw for many & increases their volume of gasoline & market sales from those who like the one stop convenience. It's a draw for me if my Dunkin Iced Tea loving son is in town. Miller's Neighborhood Market is located on the west side of Independence Boulevard north of its intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard & south of the Haygood shopping area. The market will continue to be an emergency stop for both gasoline and my son's Iced Tea.

Needing an item that I had researched where to best locate, I stopped at the Walgreens at Town Center. The building isn't the typical Walgreens style. It's built more in the architectural design of Town Center. Located on the northwest corner of Constitution & Virginia Beach Boulevard, it sits on an out parcel of Pembroke Square. Parking is plentiful. Handicapped parking spaces aren't adjacent to the building. The store is spacious with wide clean aisles perpendicular to the large pharmacy in the back. It was relatively easy to find my item because of the excellent signs in the aisles and each section of product. Great news. The supplement I take was "buy one, get 50% off a second". That works for me. I didn't expect there to be a large crowd in the store. But when I got to the front there was a relatively long line at the photo section. Only one employee was working the Photo section and checkout. It was rather awkward that she went back and forth between each trying to decide which customer should be waited on next. I didn't see any other employee in the store itself. I'm certain the pharmacy was staffed. I would go back to this Walgreens again. It's a much better layout with better aisle spacing than the Walgreens closest to me.

No fuel offered. I found the area and walk up clean. I was surprised for Saturday morning at 730 AM they had a line at checkout with two staff. I just needed to grab a few protein bars and be on my way. The aisle of candy and bars was neat. My checkout was smooth with no issue of using a credit card. The clerk was all business, no smile or pleasantries. A receipt was offered. I would return.

I call it a gem because I have never been to a gas pump anywhere and they have television screens. How neat is this? Very!! I am not sure what programs they show, but it seems as though pertinent matter is shown. And screens are located at each pump (on both sides). Upon arrival I could see the weather displayed. As minutes went by current headlines were flashing across the screen. I guess this is a great way to pass the time away and to keep you from leaving the pump unattended while in use. I mean it definitely held my attention. I was in awe! The area isn't so hot, but hey I needed gas and the prices weren't outrageous. Next time I will Breeze on In! I loved the cozy atmosphere here, especially the cute mismatched plates, mugs, and saucers. It feels like you're stepping into someone's chic and welcoming home. The cheese danish & leek and parmesan were absolutely delightful. My husband loved his vanilla cinnamon horchata and I loved my house coffee. Definitely the best hot coffee I've had in VB.
