I've been driving and running by this place for a while now and my only regret is I didn't stop in sooner! Literally has everything from bottom shelf beer and lays chips to plant based cake slices! Local made products, imported spices, rice, beans, stuff I've never even heard of but want to try! We settled for a case of Liquid Death sparkling water (for cheaper than other places even on sale!), snack mix, slim Jim, sardines in hot sauce, a slice of vegan plant based carrot cake, local cold brew coffee and local hydration drink. Oh and of course some Dole Whip WATERMELON! We'll be back soon! Owner was awesome as well! Sean (I apologize if I didn't spell that correctly) was very nice and even talked to the kids too!

The shopping center appears to be thriving with grocery anchor Harris Teeter. Spaces are nearby, but not directly in front. Curbside is offered by arranging ahead. The store is on the smaller floor plan and very compact. The bourbon area takes up a full wall. The selection was 5 star with several hard to find rare bourbons such as EH Taylor, Blanton's and Blade & Bow 22 year that's a whopping $470 bottle. Three checkouts are up front with two operational. They had an orderly line when opening. No issues with my card being processed and the cashier was friendly enough but busy with a line 10 back. This store is not close to my home, so I most likely will not return here for my booze. Otherwise it's ok, nothing special. An A-OK from me. 3.5 rounding down as the store floor space is limited.

I've been looking for something similar without any luck so I definitely got excited when I saw it. This was my third and last stop without any luck. The previous two locations just said they didn't have it and went about their business. When I asked at this location, the manager said she would go on the computer to see if she could find it. When she returned she said she researched December, January and all ads available to her. Then she reached out to other managers for help. Unfortunately she couldn't find the item but I truly appreciated her efforts in trying to locate the item for me. This is not my usual Aldi's but may have to rethink that. Outside, it doesn't seem like much. I figured it was just a local convenience store. Inside, it's actually a decent sized space. A separate space on the left with random arcade games and what looked like slot machines. The main store area were shelves of everyday items and snacks and there were a few fridges of canned and bottled drinks. They also had beer and bottles of wine available too. On the right side, they have a kitchen, where you can order chicken sandwiches and I saw a display of fried chicken. So I got 6 pieces to go and some cajun fries. Honestly, the fried chicken tasted decent. Very crispy, meat wasn't dry though they could've seasoned it better. I would say their fried chicken is on par with the fried chicken you find at Royal Farms gas stations. Overall, not a bad place to stop and get some essentials, especially considering the extremely remote part of Chesapeake you're in; there ain't s**t around for many miles...lol
