Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. Matcha quality was decent but for $8, there are much better quality options in the South Bay for the same high price. I also ordered the house margherita pizza, more emphasis on the house rather than the margherita since it was very much their own rendition with arugula, diced tomatoes, and would looked to be shredded cheese. It wasnt bad but also wasn't special. It's moreso caprese pizza sans vinegar, which honestly might be a good addition. The inside is also very cold, and I know it wasn't just me because I heard a couple other tables around me noting the same thing. If you're coming here to work for a while, bring a jacket. Overall, decent but not great for the price you pay.

He explained that they are a small batch bakery. All the pastries, behind the glass, looked amazing and were decorated so beautifully. I decided to get one Lemon-Raspberry Meringue Tart and one Mix Berry Vanilla Creme Tart. Mr. Manaois boxed up my selections and helped me at the register. They also gave many varieties of hot beverages, sweet and savory scones and sweet and savory croissants. There are also a lot of different pastries. This would be a great place to have a small relaxing breakfast. There are several places inside to enjoy your goodies. Both desserts, that I purchased, were so delicious. My favorite was the lemon raspberry meringue tart. The tartness of the lemon-raspberry filling worked so perfectly with the delicious sweet meringue. I wasn't expecting it to be part of a church, and I certainly wasn't expecting the entire area to be under construction when I arrived haha. Although it was a little tricky to find the entrance due to that construction, it most certainly was worth it. The latte iced latte I ordered was delicious, the space was beautiful, the seating was ample, and the biggest surprise of the whole experience... the brownie might be one of the best I've eaten in my life. I will certainly be coming back. Can't recommend this spot enough.

I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. The cake still uses dairy, but my friend was more cautious of the original cream cheese icing. This cake tasted amazing with this substitute, and I can't wait to try the original cream cheese icing one day! I am also interested in exploring any of their cheesecakes, as I am a cheesecake enjoyer. The red velvet cake's texture was sort of bouncy, which I enjoyed. I went back for another slice. It is also not too sweet, which I know is ideal for the asian community, so I think more people from that community should give Paris Avenue a try!

They have a free self-serve water pitcher. They also sell bags of "day-olds" that are a better deal -- a mixed bag of 3 scones or croissants for $7.50. They didn't mind us hanging out to talk for almost 3 hours.
