Once I entered, I could see why there were so many people trickling in, they had so many drinks I wanted to try! But I went with the banana matcha and vietnamese egg coffee. Both were delicious. I'm not in Sac much but if I were to come by this way more often, this would definitely be a place I'd pop into each time as part of the itinerary. Ambiance isn't anything crazy, its definitely spacious and a cool place to link up with friends or even do some work on your laptop. I would absolutely make my way back, especially to try other drinks!

The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. Between the banana matcha and my daughter's excitement over the smoking elephant, this ended up being one of those unexpectedly memorable stops we'll be talking about for a while.

He got the egg cream coffee, I got the banana cream matcha, and she got the strawberry matcha. The banana cream had small bits of banana in it- not too large to mess with the texture, but still yummy and packing a bit of sweetness in each of them! The matcha itself was great, the taste was earthy and not bitter. I downed my drink faster than I'd care to admit. The egg cream coffee was unique and yummy, definitely strong! I decided on their banana phin latte! It's a cute store that has minimal decor from posters, a few mirrors, and low tables. It's a quiet space to work in laptop. Great experience and would love to be part of their caffeine society!

I wanted to give this place another try because the reviews were so good, I felt like I was missing something. This is a small cafe with only 3 -4 tables but it was very clean and the chairs were comfy! This time I ordered the sea salt cream matcha latte and my husband got the ice phin latte with matcha foam. There was only one staff working the counter who takes your order and makes your drinks. He was very nice and friendly with a sweet smile. Matcha is hand whisked to order and there was very little wait for our drinks. Now I know that the cream top is what makes the drink. Even though the matcha itself is mediocre, the cream top is so delicious and perfectly sweetened that you can kinda ignore the fact that you don't really taste the matcha. More importantly, the phin latte is the star. It can do without the matcha foam but it might be the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever tried in South Sac! Skip the matcha and get the phin latte! I'll definitely be back.

It's conveniently located…read morein South Sac close to other popular restaurants, so it's super easy to grab a drink after lunch should you crave some strong Vietnamese coffee (or other drinks they offer). Be warned, their Vietnamese coffee is very strong. I don't mind it though, and it's quite smooth. Most recently I had their ube cream coffee and that was delightful. There was plenty of ube cream, and once that was mixed in with the rest of the coffee, man was that delicious. I've taken my husband and a good friend of mine to Tram in the past and both of them enjoyed the drinks they chose as well. I have yet to try their matcha but my friend said it was great. If you're not keen on getting a Vietnamese coffee, their fruit teas are also nice and refreshing. I've had the Running Dragon in the past and that was really good. Even when they're busy, the staff have been able to get drinks out in a timely manner (at least that's my experience when I've gone). There also ample space to sit and enjoy your drinks, or hang out with friends. They even serve food here, but I have yet to try that too. Tram Cream Coffee is definitely in my rotation of favorite spots for an afternoon pick-me-up in the South Sac area, and I shall return.

DISCLAIMER: THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE DRINKS, NOT THE SERVICE…read more I've been to Tram Cream Coffee at-least 3 times now and every time I've gone I'm left feeling neither impressed nor satisfied. The drinks are great quality, don't get me wrong. The strength of their coffee alone is enough to make you feel like you can run for an hour straight without any breaks. My only gripe is the portion size. Every time I've gone my drinks are almost always never properly filled. If I am spending near $7-8 on average for a SMALL coffee, I expect to have my drink filled every time. There is zero excuse to not fill the gaps of my drinks when I pay extra for the foam/cream that is meant to be included in my drinks. In fact, every time I've gone it is always a problem with the portions. The drinks are never filled properly to the brim or it's just littered with 60-70% ice and you get maybe 30-40% of your actual drink on a good day. I really hope the owners take this review to heart and improve on the portion/presentation of their drinks. Having your drinks filled all the way with foam/cream when your customers pay for it goes a LONG way. It makes your customers feel as if they are paying for the drink they deserve. The quality and taste of the drinks are amazing, but the portions alone make me want to pursue other competitors that treat me right and give me what I pay for.

Double Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk + 50% Sweet - 8.7/10 They definitely use a higher quality of matcha which makes the latte itself not too bitter. Also, the oat milk definitely gives a creaminess to the drink. Even though I usually get 50% sweetness since I want to taste more of the matcha itself, it has the right amount of sweetness. The price is pretty on par with other matcha spots since it's $7.50 but it would've been a 10 if they filled the cup a little bit more. Mangonada Smoothie + Extra Sweet - 7.7/10 I didn't get this for myself but you can tell that they use actual mangos. It's definitely a refreshing drink to get and it didn't taste too sweet for me. Overall, I ordered my drinks through the kiosk so there wasn't much interaction w/ the staff but the guy who gave me my drinks was nice. The place is quite spacious and has a bunch of seats. It's also pretty clean and well organized. So I would definitely try this place again if I happen to be nearby.

Also, I've been craving for their banana matcha latte for a while ever since they came out with this item like a year ago so I had to come back when i saw that they're selling it again. Banana Matcha Latte - 8.2/10 I got this with soy milk and honestly it tastes really good although since their matcha is premade, you can't really adjust the sweetness and I wish the matcha a bit less sweet especially since the banana cream top is already sweet itself. Also, the soy milk gives the creaminess without overpowering the matcha too much. The banana cream top has a nice banana flavor (although kind of tastes artificial) but it's still very tasty especially with the Biscoff biscuits and fresh bananas on top. One thing to note is that they don't put a lot of ice in the drink so even when the drink is diluted, you can still taste the prominence of the matcha. The workers are pretty nice and they have really fast service even during rush hours. Also, this place is quite small so it's more of a to-go spot. I would mainly recommend coming to this spot if you're looking for high-quality matcha desserts since that's what they're really known for. I would definitely come back if I happen to be nearby.
