I went up to the counter and got my soda scanned. After paying, I noticed that the price was higher that what I anticipated. Before the employee logged out of the computer, I noticed that there was an extra dollar charge on my purchase. I confronted the employee about it and he acted like he didn't purposely did it. After looking over a lot of the past reviews, I want to conclude that this in fact was not an accident and he will definitely continue to charge people more than what they should. A busy corner and a small parking lot seem a dangerous combination. Got here after taking some time around the bridges and a stop in Mill Valley. Service was not rude, but also not friendly. Store was well stocked and reasonably neat. Restroom was also reasonably neat. It's not far from the freeway, and thankfully, not that difficult to return to the freeway from this location. read more

I came to this neighborhood 7-Eleven to stock up on food/kitchen supplies right before our Bay Area Shelter-In-Place went into effect. I first tried Safeway and a few other supermarkets, and it was absolute chaos (damn you, Coronavirus!). I was delightfully surprised that I could do quite a lot of shopping here. Canned goods, ice, bottled water, candy/snacks, beer, and toilet paper (I kid you not). I'm essentially all set for a week of house arrest! And I didn't have to deal with any long lines or surly customers or crying babies. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Easy peasy. In this bizarre time of social distancing and limited "essential" businesses, this convenience store is most definitely convenient. read more

The man put the hot dog on this bun (see posted photo) and told my nephew who picked it up for me that he couldn't change this broken bun that my nephew observed the clerk putting the dog on and that he couldn't put it on a proper unbroken bun because, "one customer, one bun". Driving to work at about 6:45am I was in urgent need of coffee. Seeing the 7-11 I had to stop. I got the medium-large (red cup) coffee which is about $1.50 I don't know if the register guy was in a good mood or just likes to flirt early in the morning but he only told me to pay 1 dollar. I didn't know what to say. What a deal, what a discount? What should I do to thank him for doing this for me?? I paid him one dollar and have never returned since. That is how I returned the favor. I do not like getting special treatment for no reason at such an early hour in the morning. Is this guy trying to butter me up for something bigger he's going to ask me later? Does he think that if he gives me this discount that I will continue to come in early in the morning and buy the coffee? Well little does he know, this evil plan of his backfired. I think that if I did return, again and again, I think our relationship would turn into something more (in his mind at least) and the last thing I want to do is cause some emotional, psychological, or mental damage to a guy that thinks he is getting somewhere with me by giving me some huge discount on columbian roast coffee with irish-cream. Went in tonight on my way home to get a soda and bag of chips and as I was checking out and paying the man behind the counter grabbed my hand in a very, very inapporpriate and pretty creepy manner, while trying to make very intense eye contact with me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe at an establishment in my own town. I STRONGLY recommend not going there in the evening. I will definitely NEVER shop here again. My neighbor is an 86 year old senior citizen that had a car stall at the intersection in front of the 7-Eleven. The man that works at the store looked at this sweet elderly man about to suffer from heat prostration and stress and told him: "You have 15 minutes to get your car moved and I am calling a tow company to get your car out of here!" I told the man in the turbin working at the store: "You need to treat this elderly man with the Same Respect You Would Treat Your Father With In Life! Do you hear me! And he needs help with his car not problems!" The other customers agreed with me. Every time I go to the store the man in the turbin is beyond rude to me and most all of the customers. I guess they can't find many committed people to work here. The owner is a very nice man and his employee at this location is just awful. Does not even say, "hello" or "thank you". I have to go in a lot and each time I go in, I promise myself, I am going to the Safeway next time just to Avoid this nasty, rude and poor businessman. It is beyond awful! The employ was playing loud annoying music off his phone when I walked in. Then he refused my U.S. passport card as an ID. I told him to put in my birthday and he didn't and passed the card back smiling "can't do anything". His friend and him worked there for years with a bad attitude and clearly doesn't know the point of an picture ID. You can buy Lottery and all of the Pharmaceuticals you could ask for at a convenience store. Be careful in this store. I went to buy a soda and gave the guy a $20. After some business about getting change from the other register, he only gave me change for a $10. No way to argue. Very expensive soda. Couldn't' tell if on purpose or if he just was not focused, but at any rate, will never go back to that store and will be very careful in any 7-Eleven. The $10 they made off me pales by comparison to the many years of future lost business. read more
