This is a very small 7-11. Their medicine aisle is actually behind the counter. The line moves very quickly so that was nice. Because it's in downtown LA there was a lot of sidewalk traffic. Seems to have all the basics. read more

I haven't walked into a 7-11 in years, but I just wanted some bottled water and this was convenient. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! The store was neat, clean, well lit, and things were easy to find. The line moved quickly and the customer service was pleasant. It seems to have all the basics plus it's right near the 7th St Metro. I'm glad I gave this place a chance, and will definitely use them again when I'm in the area. I had to write this review since this location has changed my view on this chain as my past experiences with the chain were not the best. Makes me wonder if 7-11 is having a comeback? I might go check out the one near me to see if this is the case. Perhaps I will say, "Thank heaven for 7-11". read more

From the view point of tourists. This 7-Eleven is cｌose to Hotel Sheraton Grand LA we'd stayed. My family stayed in LA for 5days. Since we ate Cracker Jack at 1st time in the Dodger Stadium in the 1st day in LA, we ware dying for Cracker Jack. We couldn't purchased Cracker Jack in the other convenience store or the Target. When we were giving up , and after eating dinner in the restaurant close to this 7-Eleven , we walked in this 7-eleven to buy some sweet buns& bottled water for next breakfast. Finally we could find Cracker Jack in this 7-Eleven. The store clerks were very friendly for us Japanese tourists. Chat with the store clerks and the other customers included police officer looked so fun. If I could, I wished I was in them. I think If there had been 7-Eleven many years ago, police officer's typical snack should have not been doughnuts. Hot Foods looked yummy. And actually ,sweet buns were more delicious than we expected. We walked in twice during 5days in LA. Another day, the other store clerk kindly greeted my 12 years old daughter " Hi ! For such a busy store they have the most slowest cashier !!! Had to repeat myself three times what items I need it. Then had to show her what I need it. Then she wanted to charge me 25 cents for a bag I had not request or need it for my items. I asked her twice to scan the 7/11 app, after I had placed my phone on the counter at the beginning of my purchase. She didn't scan the app, therefore to accountability for my purchases. WORST 7-11...EVER. I say this because of the "Manager" (or whoever she is). I work in the area and have gone in several times. This "lady" ALWAYS seems to have an attitude...ALWAYS. NEVER about the customer service. She is AWFUL. It has gotten to the point that I would rather pay $5.00 for coffee at an establishment that is courteous and appreciates my business than $2.00 at a place that is rude and unappreciative. I have been to other 7-11 stores with MUCH better customer service. The others working in the store seem to be friendly - on another occasion when I was there, the straw supply was empty and a customer asked for a straw. A young lady stopped what she was doing to get the straws and very kindly returned with the supply handing the customer one before walking over to refill the empty container. I went in with a co-worker who wanted to use the CitiBank ATM machine. He tried the machine a few times with no success. When he asked this same AWFUL Manager about it, she shrugged her shoulders as if not to care. We understand that the machine is not under responsibility, but there was a clear lack of customer care or concern. The woman at the register snatched the bag from my sister's hand hurting my sisters hand, while I was paying (keep in mind I am not a confrontational person), but when I asked her why did she do that, she mumbled something in her native language and kept saying things which I could not understand. Listing says that this store is open 24 hours, however it is frequently still closed at 6:30 a.m. I'm not going to criticize the store for things that are outside their control, like the panhandlers who congregate outside and think that opening the door entitles them to the customer's change, but they don't seem able to open as advertised. Diet Coke syrup is frequently out, as is ice. The name may be "Seven-Eleven", does that mean the opening hours too? Also, if an item is 99 cents, that means 99 cents. That doesn't mean $1. Steer clear from this particular 7-Eleven. They do not listen to paying customers. They overcharged me when they should not have. I have called corporate just now. I bought a 7-Eleven coffee mug on Monday afternoon. It was hot so I did not need a hot coffee at that particular moment. I paid $2.49 for the mug. Any new coffee mug you purchase from 7-Eleven has a coupon for your first fill free. Fast forward to yesterday, I was in Downtown again. I had to view my results on an exam at LACCD. I did not have my coffee yet, so I decided to walk to 7th & Figueroa. I fill my mug with the pumpkin spice coffee. I prepare to checkout and hand the cashier the coupon that was inside the mug for the first fill of coffee being free. She asks me what it is. She says that they do not accept it and rips the coupon in front of me. Then she asks me if I bought the mug today. I say no. She is going to charge me $2.49 again. I was like technically you should not charge me anything because of the promotion that 7-Eleven has going with the coupon that you conveniently ripped apart. She did not believe me and asks her manager. So the manager tells her to ring me up for a $1. Still should not have been charged folks. I went back to the store an hour later. I found my receipt and I politely asked for a refund. All I got were excuses. I have called Customer Service for 7-Eleven. read more
