It was just a really refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed at Starbucks. I got my usual decaf coffee with sugar and the husband tried a white chocolate latte (I forgot the name). The coffees were phenomenal. But the REALLY cool part was how they give you a free chocolate covered coffee bean on every single drink (even the smoothies, because, yes, we went back). We have also tried a muffin top, smoothie, and biscotti. I am serious when I say that everything is good here. I am just mad at myself that I had just bought more coffee for the house before discovering this wonderful place and buying it here instead! They were slow, talking (gossiping) and playing around behind the counter. The employee who wears glasses and black hair(not brown) is SLOW and the worse of the lot. Two customers who ordered after us got their orders b4 us. I told my finace' lets get a refund and to the other location next to HEB(Midkiff). Nooo he wanted to stay. (Which he regretted ;) 20 minutes later they called my name. I walk to the counter and was presented with what looked like 2 MILKSHAKES!! I was livid. When I asked for a refund the cashier gave me the refund then offered to make 2 new drinks for free. When we were given the 2 remakes, they were even whiter than the 1st two. They tasted like they put half a gallon of milk in them. I threw them in the trash and walked out. Never again. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Get it together Starbucks. You need to clean house with this current staff. Its a relatively new location...You will continue to loose business with them. Shame. Shame. SHAME!!!! Let me also mention I pass this location everyday and can count on 1 hand how many times Ive seen a line in drive-thru. Poor service and long wait times... for no reason.

Like many Midland businesses today, their POS card system was affected by internet outages. But the owner and her employee balanced customers' needs for speedy and efficient service with their need to also pay by card. If you are looking for business done the "old fashioned way" where the business truly does care about customer service while they also value their employees. It was hopping and full of staff and patrons. The check out counter is at the far end, so you have to squeeze by folks standing between the counter and the wall, it's a narrow passageway.
