As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff. The place was nice and clean, and they had music playing, which made it feel really welcoming. I also noticed they have a little area where you can scoop candy into a bag, which I thought was such a fun touch. They had SO many ice cream flavors, even 21+ flavors to choose from! I went with a regular strawberry, and it was really fresh and tasted great. I feel like they actually use real strawberries because I could see the little strawberry seeds in the ice cream. Overall, we had a really good experience, and I'd definitely come back when I'm in town again!

I looked over at her as we were leaving Dollar General nearby, "wanna get some ice cream"? I asked her. She replied in her soft voice "yeah" and asked "from where tho?" I replied, "anywhere, how about DQ?" She responded "hmm, how about we try the paleta place?" We weren't even 2 min away from La Michoacana, and at first I thought they probably only had popsicles so not in the mood for popsicles, I was a tad bit resistant but my niece gets what she wants and she always has the very best ideas so I relented and off we were! This place is perfect! Plenty of parking. SUPER friggin cute with the best photo ops! Bright, sparkly clean and smells amazing inside. When we went 2 gentlemen where working and they were very kind and helpful. The older gentleman even gave me a second sample of the spicy strawberry bc he wanted me to try a scoop with more tamarindo. I ended up getting a spicy strawberry scoop and a helado Dubai scoop in a cup. What cool selections right? And both so delicious. The spicy strawberry was definitely my favorite. My niece got a scoop of her fave flavor, gansito and a scoop of Ferraro Roche on a cone. They have so many great dessert options. Concha ice cream sandwiches, drinks/shakes, brownies, cookies. I look forward to returning and will likely visit every single time I'm in Odessa. This place is dangerously delicious in the very best way.
