When the drink was handed to us, we were told it was allergen-free. Within 20 minutes of drinking it, my daughter experienced a severe allergic reaction. We had to administer an EpiPen and seek medical care. Afterward, I tasted the smoothie myself and it was clearly made with peanut. When we contacted the store, we were told they were aware of the incident and that a report had been filed, but there was little acknowledgment of the seriousness of what occurred. This was not a preference or dietary request--it was a clearly communicated, life-threatening allergy. This was not a minor mistake--this was a life-threatening situation that could have ended very differently. I am incredibly disappointed. What should have been a simple visit turned into a medical emergency. I hope this serves as a serious reminder of the responsibility that comes with preparing food for customers with allergies.

When asked for a receipt, which I did not have, the manager, Lorraine Cobos (GM09), informed me it couldn't be their mistake because everything is labeled Copy uested the last four digits of my credit ca. -,. provided them. She then claimed that my last visit was in March, despite my visit the previous day. I showed her my bank statement to prove otherwise. Which she saw and then scoffed at. Despite all of this, she refused to replace my tea and berated me in front of her staff, using me as a learning opportunity by saying it was my responsibility to check if I received the correct tea and that's why they label them like they do. I know what | ordered. I only ever order watermelon tea. You have a great product and concept, and I am confident in your success. However, I strongly recommend reviewing the customer service skills of your general managers. As a GM myself, I was appalled by Ms. Cobos' actions and believe her treatment of guest warrants serious consideration and perhaps additional training.

But the owner and her employee balanced customers' needs for speedy and efficient service with their need to also pay by card.
