Unfortunately, the business practices of the owners have given me serious pause about returning. I had a nail and pedicure appointment scheduled and arrived about 45 minutes early because I wanted my existing nail set soaked off. Upon arrival, I was told that my nail tech had called out sick. I completely understood and had no issue rescheduling my nail appointment for the following day (Saturday). Since I was already there, I proceeded with my pedicure and, thinking logically and proactively, requested to have my nails removed so I wouldn't need to do it the next day. A man named Stephen, who I believe is one of the owners, agreed and sent a tech over to remove them. At no point was I told there would be an additional or different charge. When it was time to pay, my bill was significantly higher. I was then informed that nail removal is $15 if done separately, but only $5 if done the same day as a nail service. Essentially, I was penalized because their employee called out sick -- something completely outside of my control. This was never disclosed upfront, even though I made it clear I would be returning within 24 hours. Fast forward to Saturday, and I received another call stating that once again, the tech would be out. While I understand people get sick, the lack of communication, transparency, and consideration for the customer is unacceptable. Instead of absorbing reasonable inconveniences as a business, the cost and frustration are passed directly onto the consumer. To add insult to injury, I was also charged $20 for gel polish that I personally supplied because they didn't carry the color I use. What I've learned is that this establishment will nickel-and-dime customers at every opportunity, regardless of circumstances. The service consistency and communication are a hit or miss, and unfortunately, honesty and fairness seem to be lacking at the management level. If you enjoy gambling with service inconsistencies and unexpected charges, this may be the place for you. However, if you value quality work, transparency, and reasonable business practices -- especially when issues are beyond the customer's control -- I highly recommend avoiding this establishment.

Before, you would have to sign in at the Clipboard. A petite Vitnamese woman, who spoke hardly any English, did my Pedicure. She rocked a beautiful Green Christmas Pedicure. She was so nice, she gave me a nice Leg Massage and Foot Massage. I was totally relaxed and she noticed. Lol I decided to get Christmas Colors of Red and White on my Toe Nails. When I told the Nail Tech what I wanted, she seemed confused but she got it right. I was pleased with the result. They also have nice Christmas Decor. See my Pictures. I noticed, when I was heading out, the Kiosk was ready for me to check out. That was a nice gesture. I also got clarification on the Stamp Card. It's one stamp no matter how many services you get in one visit. So, hurry to the Galaxy. I mean the Galaxy Nail Bar to get your Pedi just in time for the Christmas Holidays.

She seemed surprised that I asked, but then fixed things, to some extent. The color was fine, and the massage was the usual 30-second massage most places give you with a gel manicure. Overall, worst gel manicure I've received in a long, long time. The gel pedicure was much better than the manicure, though not good enough to make me return to this nail salon. It was pretty empty inside--lots of chairs, but not a lot of clients. It's got an elegant appearance, though. On a positive note, they were able to take me on short notice.

I said yes I have had darker pink by DND that comes in regular polish. But she yelled and said you can't do that and I said ok let me see other options I do not like the one you picked it's too nude. And she got up all angry and said something to the lady doing my nails in their native language with a tone. Then she came back with more options and I picked a darker pink. So why the attitude? These are my nails that I'm paying for so yes if I don't like it I will speak up and what I'm asking for is reasonable and I was nice about it. Then the lady doing my manicure got mad when I told her I wanted a darker pink to match my toes as my base and they both started being very rough with me and talking about me in their native language and slamming their instruments and stuff to make it known they were mad. They were very rough on my hands and feet after I said I desire a certain type of pink for my pink and white French instead of what they picked. I will never come back here again. Absolutely terrible service.

She always asks what my choices are for the day. She follows through. I am glad that she is working in this lovely, clean, well appointed and upscale salon. Golden Moon seems able to make any special request look easy. They have all of the basics and also all of the fancies that one might want. I frequently see both senior folks and little ones getting their treatments done. Staff are courteous, work well together, have a positive attitude, and they are talented!!! The pedicure chairs look so relaxing! The manicure stations are clean, updated, and sparkly. I feel like someone special when ever I walk in the door. I am offered a beverage, and given a pillow for my back. The array of treatment options seem endless. I enjoy watching other clients, and seeing the smile on their faces as they interact with staff, and as they leave pleased with the artistic result of their treatments.
