Their price hands down is the best around. $2.99lb, you can purchase by the sack or per pound. $4.99lb for boiled, but they offer a deal for 3lbs, 5lbs, and 10lbs. We got ours medium spicy, crawfish was huge!! Nice little kick, but I'll probably get it spicier next time. They do their boudin several ways, in a wrap (eggroll form), hot boiled, and fried boudin balls. The hot boiled way were my favorite, there was a nice mixture of spices, and a little kick. The cracklins were good, definitely fried extra hard if you like it that way. They're much different than Mexican style chicharons with a crispy layer on the outside, and tender on the inside, this is crispy all throughout. They have dine in at the moment, but with a limited menu. Place is spacious and clean. Once you're done eating, head over next door to their seafood market! They carry a variety of specialty meat, seasonings, and ready to cook items from Louisiana! They're still in the process of getting everything in, so the market is about 1/3 full at the moment. I spy with my little eye a hot food bar in the market area, that would be great for anyone on the go that wants a quick snack. Included the menus for yall. What's on the white board is what they're currently offering, and the paper menu is for what's to come. BTW the owners are from the heart of Louisiana County cajun seafood market and boudin BTW my Samsung phone cracked yesterday, so these pics were taken with my backup Samsung phone, sorry it's not super clear.

This place was such a treat. Biggest regret...we forgot our beer...'cause a cold beer to wash down this good food would've been perfect. So from the outside it looks like a shack...an extended shack...but its actually a really cool, clean spot. There are two lines...one for carry out and then one for those looking to eat at the location. Most of the seating is outside...but there is a small room for indoor seating. Decor is very southern with sports and various music albums. The menu is simple with shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, several combination plate offers, and tamales (which has to be purchased by half dozen). My table ordered the pound of shrimp, half pound of shrimp and the crawfish. All of us were satisfied. The corn that we ordered (it doesn't come with corn or sausage and must be ordered seperately) was amazing and went well with our food. The seasoning was on point. This is definitely a worthwhile spot to visit while in Jackson.

Long benches await with built-in paper towel holders in each table. I ordered the Who Dat Special, which came with a pound of shrimp, two potatoes and one ear of corn. Shrimp were a nice size, and well seasoned. Corn was good too. Potatoes could have been better if the seasoning was stronger. Everything was good and I was told by someone in my party to check out the turkey necks next time I come.

I give one star because of the terribly unprofessional, disrespectful treatment I received from…read morestaff today. I called in my order of two bowls of steamed white rice, a half a pound of sausage, and 3 corn on the Cobb. The corn on the Cobb is currently advertised at $3.00 on the website. However the agent informed me that the price has changed and it was now $3.50 and she said this was an incredible amount of anger and attitude. I informed her that the restaurant was suppose to sell at the advertised price but that I would speak to someone about it later and as soon as I said that it sounded like she slammed down the phone. I heard nothing. I ended up calling back and she answered and before I could say anything she said someone else 'would deal with me'. When the other woman came to the phone I started to give my order and I mentioned the advertised price showed $3.00 and she cut me off and said 'no one would be honoring the price on the website'. As I was speaking to her the other female was in the background yelling and insulting me. I could hear her very well. I mentioned to the woman that I could hear her and she cut me off again and told me in so many words she 'didnt have time to address that and for me to continue with the order". I finished my order and she said one of the part owners was inside the restaurant but that the owners 'never spoke with customers' and "he's not going to discount anything for you'. WOW... Talk about being incredibly rude. I like the food here but the way they handled the price being different on the website was just to ignore it and go off on the customer who brought it to their attention.

TX paid, but honey I'm definitely MISSISSIPPI raised…read more I was too busy eating for pictures !! Went to Berry's for the lunch buffet and ate good! I ate so much food for a reasonable price. I've had the dinner buffet before and it is really good as well!! Everything was seasoned well. I didn't eat anything that I didn't enjoy. I love how my drink was still cold because of the cup to they serve the drinks in. The ambiance is very family style and it is good for big groups. We had a group of 20 and we were accommodated well. Now here's for the breakdown of the buffet that I can remember. Meats: catfish, pork chops, chicken, blackened catfish, fried liver, bbq chicken, fried shrimp, and pot roast Sides and veggies: greens, black eyed peas, fried okra corn, fried green tomatoes, rice (sorta like a dirty rice), mashed potatoes, yams, hush puppies, mac &cheese, Mexican corn bread, regular corn bread, corn salad, salad bar, pasta salad, etc Desserts: plenty were available. I got the banana pudding and it was tasty Listen, check out Berry's seafood the next time you are in this part of Mississippi!!! They have crab legs during dinner hoursp

Why can't you just hit me out one of these tables? Oh, we only have three service if you ask me, I think that's the real reason with all the bullshit but anyway never actually got inside chose not to wait because I just felt like I was gonna have a horrible experience going forward and the manager if you really was, the manager should technically be working at Wendy's.

It just so happens that I was in New Orleans a few months ago and partook of same at that time. So this will be a direct comparison to Felix's. Bar has a nice setup with a couple TVs showing live sports, but no sound. I was able to connect my phone to get the sound via the Tunity app. Bartender was knowledgeable and easy going. I started with the gumbo and the oysters were served while I was about halfway through the bowl. The gumbo was pretty good and I would definitely get it again. The oysters were super hot and I actually had to wait a few moments before starting in on them. The chargrilled oysters were very good and if I had not had them in New Orleans I would have been most pleased. Of course, these were not as good as Felix's. But if you are staying at the Hilton, you absolutely need to walk over to Drago's. Check the portrait of Drago in the entryway ( he passed a few years ago).
