Service was amazing! Loved the bartenders!! They were so fun, very friendly, made a great atmosphere, and made great drinks!!

I ordered the combo fajitas. Best I've ever had. Flavorful and a lot of food! Wish I had that marinade recipe! I'm a stickler on service. Jose, our server was amazing. Very attentive and saw our needs before we knew we had them. Fifth visit and they keep getting better! read more

Came for Mother's Day lunch waited at a table for more than 20 minutes while the table two over from us was helped, drinks delivered, chips brought over and their order taken. My husband got up to tell the waitress we were at the corner table by the door entrance (kind of hidden) waitress proceeded to tell him they are short staff gave him menus and told him when we decided we could come back up and place our order at the register. Honestly I felt that was horrible customer service no one else was placing their order like that and what was the point at sitting at a table she did not take a drink order nor was she even pleasant. After multiple lunch visits good food I will not be back! read more

Danny provided amazing service! He was friendly, attentive, and took the time to personalize my drink exactly the way I wanted it. The drinks were delicious, and you can tell he really cares about making sure his customers have a great experience. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Danny! read more

I went for Toys for Tots and I will go back for the tacos! We were greeted as soon as we entered and ordered quickly. My carnitas tacos were so good and the rice and beans tasted like homemade. And I can't forget to mention the marvelous mango margaritas! Yummy! The bar area has been redone and it's lovely. They have a large covered patio also. read more

Food was good. The food is always good when we come for a meal. The issue I see is being understaffed. Tables were dirty and only one girl taking orders and running orders out to tables. We asked for salsa on the side just in case it was too spicy and it wasn't communicated to the kitchen staff. The gentleman helping the woman upfront was so apologetic since the woman became so upset for the mistake that was made. He made our visit worth it today. read more

559 Taqueria - Tacos Near Me - Clovis, California

Food is real good and they got my favorite bartender in fresno here at 559 Danny the man!

Food was great, our server was the best! Marzena god bless you! authentic flavors and spicy salsas! Fire!

We had a great experience at 559 Taquería in Clovis. The service was excellent, and our waitress Marzena, was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout our meal. Our food came out quickly, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The asada tacos were delicious, and the chips and salsa were a great start to the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we'd definitely come back! read more

10 stars if I could. Without a doubt, best Mexican food in Clovis. Amazing margaritas, many flavors to choose from. Great service.

Danny was amazing! He was very helpful when going over the menu and the drink list. Would recommend this place visit again!

Last Tuesday (7/72026) the tacos were still good but not the same as my first time in June. The shrimp ceviche was overly salty--I couldn't finish. Maybe an off day or a salt-forward cook? Definitely different from my first phenomenal experience there. read more

On Tuesdays they have 2 dollar tacos. You get to chose from meats such as asada, chicken, adobada and beef. The tacos come with cilantro and onion. Their salsas and margaritas are good too. I don't really like their rice it's kind of dry. The deals and drinks keep me coming back. read more

Avoided coming here because of the yelp reviews. I'm so glad I finally came in and for those that left bad reviews, my experience was much better. Great tacos and chips / guacamole. Danny was fantastic at bartending and placing food orders. I will not trust Clovis / Fresno reviews moving forward and will be back soon! read more

Finally decided to give this place a try. Not real busy on a Thursday night. Walk up ordering, they bring it out to you. Lots of to-go orders. Clean inside. Outside was a bit dirty. The Quesataco (not the red) was the crispiest they have to offer, which was not what we were looking for. Beans were good. Rice was tasty but cold. If you like soft tacos, you might give it a try. I'm off to find more crunchy tacos. read more

559 Taqueria - Quesatacos - Chicken and Al Pastor with rice and beans - Tacos Near Me - Clovis, California

We went to try this place out yesterday, and it did not disappoint. We ordered 2 special plates included chili relleno & tostada with rice and beans plus another with a queso taco & tostado including the rice & beans plus an asada burrito. For an appetizer we tried the chips & guacamole. For the drinks we got the agua de piña. Everything was amazing. I'll be honest, Clovis isn't known for Mexican food so I was highly impressed at the flavors! We really enjoyed the ambience too. We are definitely coming back! read more

Visited 559 Tacos this past Sunday and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. We stood there for quite a while and were never acknowledged at all. The staff was focused on talking to their usual customers, and we just kept waiting with no greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. After giving it some time, we ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but the lack of basic customer service made it hard to even place an order. Hopefully they improve how they handle new customers, because first impressions matter. read more

Yeah this place is not my favorite... Let's start with the positives, the one positive... The quesatacos were good! I did 1 chicken and 2 asada. Very dry but the salsa and lime helped. And now the negatives, pretty much everything else... First of all, flies...everywhere...inside & outside. The only way to avoid is it being right next to a fan outside. The whole set up is strange - I'm confused why they make it seem like the cocktail lounge and taco shop are separate, they're in the same small space... You have to stand in line for food and then stand by the again for drinks, a lot of waiting and for what if you're in the same area? Don't waste your time on the drinks, I had a strawberry margarita that didn't even have a hint of tequila. The overall vibe is just not it. I feel like they threw it together to try to make it "aesthetic" but really it looks like they just tried to make it work. I've always heard this place was overhyped and wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, especially with their "casita lounge" addition, but nope I totally agree. read more

This is a favorite of ours. We recently brought some family from out of town and they fell in love with the food. Additionally, our server, Marzena, really went above and beyond. She was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. My family is already asking to go again! read more

559 Taqueria - I was so excited too -never had a dry taco in my life #immexican - Tacos Near Me - Clovis, California

Delish. We walked over from a nearby spot to get some food and it did not disappoint. The serving size was big, the toppings were not skimpy at all and the tastes were everything you want in a nacho and tacos. The prices were not bad either and they served it in proper time, didn't wait too long even though they were busy. Will come again for sure. read more

559 Taqueria - The first time I took a friend for his birthday, second time I brought my family and absolutely loved the food. Just mouthwatering! - Tacos Near Me - Clovis, California

My husband and I are Mexican food connoisseurs, and on our way home from a road trip we decided to take a chance on 559 Taqueria because the reviews were mixed.. First and foremost, we were greeted by a wonderful server named Marzena, who was super friendly. My husband and I both ordered a chili relleno and two chicken enchiladas which came with rice and beans. We were eagerly excited to dig in. Our excitement soon disappeared after we both took a bite of our rice, which was both dry and cold. We both looked at each other and thought "oh no"!! The beans were lukewarm. Come on now, It shouldn't be that hard to mess up on rice and beans. The chicken enchiladas had some sort of weird lime taste to them and a smokiness that was unfamiliar to us. There was hardly any meat in the enchiladas,... also lukewarm. The chili relleno was a greasy overcooked mess and was full of a greasy blob of cheese. Overall, the whole plate was swimming in sauces and barely edible. It's not very often that we have bad Mexican food, but honestly, this place left us leaving with upset stomachs. The best part about the whole meal was the wonderful waitress who was top notch. We wanted to give a good recommendation so badly, but the only good thing about 559 Taqueria was our waitress. Date of Visit: Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Time: 6:40 PM First visit to the restaurant. Upon stepping in, we were lost for a few second. Didnt know if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for the waitress to seat us so we went straight to the cash register to kindly announce our presence. Seating was available indoor and patio. The atmosphere was loud, but fun. However, we decided to sit in the room by the entrance. It was warm but we were comfortable; however, eating their delicious housemade salsa made it even warmer, unfortunately. Where we sat felt like 90°. Outside temperature was 104°. We had a sweet server, Marzena who recommended which dish to get and she was not wrong. They were delicious! Will definitely return! read more

Short staff with large party at the last minute, staff work really well as a team to get us the excellent food!

This was our first time eating at 559. I ordered the 3 taco plate with asada and my husband ordered the surf and turf burrito. The food was really good! Everything was seasoned well and the meat had no fat, which is a big deal for me and will absolutely ruin my meal. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. It really feels like a family-like environment. We'd definitely eat here again! read more

really good customer service nice bar good atmosphere The tacos were very good. The only thing I wasn't used to is the flower tortilla. Besides that everything's good seasoning is good. I'm usually the corn tortilla definitely would come back to try Michelada with my tacos read more

I tried this place for the first time based on a recommendation, and I was genuinely excited to try something new. The restaurant had clearly been remodeled and looked amazing inside--the bar, the patio, and the entire vibe were on point. However, the layout was confusing. You enter through the patio, and to get to the bathrooms, you have to walk behind the counter and almost into the back kitchen, which felt odd. When we walked in, there was no greeting or guidance, which made the experience confusing, especially since it was our first visit. We weren't sure if we should wait to be seated or order at the counter, so we ended up just figuring it out ourselves. It turns out you order at the counter, get a number, and then find a seat, but it would've been nice to know that up front. When the food came out, it was disappointingly cold. I'm not one to usually complain about temperature, but this was just unappetizing. I finished my meal, but it really didn't live up to expectations, and I didn't enjoy it. Overall, while the space looked great, the lack of organization and the food left me underwhelmed. I don't think I'd return. read more

I had passed by many times and wanted to see if the food was good , from the moment I walked in I noticed the place was unorganized and very messy by the grill, not looking very clean at all and unorganized, but I didn't want to be rude and turn around and walk out by the looks of the place so I was in a pinch and I just ordered. I ordered two Carne Asada tacos and a Carne Asada the burrito to go. I was told that the salsa bar was outside. I went outside and noticed that it was out there and not covered and unattended with a side gate open where either insects or any type of outdoor animal could have access to it, I was handed my order outside, and I noticed after taking one bite that the corn tortillas were raw and hard at the same time if that makes sense and had a weird taste to them , the meat was way too salty like they dumped a bunch of seasoning all over the meat. The salsa was actually not too bad. I went back to my hotel to try the burrito and the tortilla was not fully cooked. The rice in the burrito was kind of mushy and it was supposed to be Carne Asada, but almost tasted like Carnitas so I'm not sure what was actually in the burrito. It was not very good. I would honesty probably never!go back to this place again definitely not worth $24 for a burrito and a couple salty tacos.worst 4$ taco Iv ever had . Trial and error Mostly error on this one. read more
