The restaurant is located between the…read morenorthbound I-35 service road and Mays St. just south of Old Settler's Blvd. There's plenty of nearby parking on 2 sides of the restaurant's corner location. Ramen Tatsu-ya is a local chain where ordering and payment are done as you enter and food is brought to your table. The atmosphere is clean and spare, but you're not likely to linger in the hard, flat wood seats, many of which are backless. Obviously, the main attraction is Ramen, and theirs is excellent. I've found the full size bowls (which currently start at $13.50) to be too much food for lunch. Today I ordered a chashu rice bowl, which worked out just right given my daughter and I shared a portion of edamame. I also tried their Kagoshima Sakura sweet tea. While it was good, I thought the tea was a bit weak and it was hard to justify the price. Even with its limited menu and less than comfortable seating, this is a place I could eat at several times a week and still enjoy the experience.

The restaurant itself has a really cool atmosphere, and it's always clean and inviting. Every employee I've interacted with has been genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes me want to keep coming back. If you're looking for great ramen, especially if you're vegetarian, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Sushi was incredibly fresh, the service was engaging , fast and friendly... it's a smaller restaurant but the atmosphere was perfect! We ordered 2 rolls , sashimi, shashito peppers and I loved every bite !! The ex-wife and ex-husband rolls were so delicious and you can order 6 pieces or the full roll (which I love) and the salmon sashimi was buttery and perfectly melted in my mouth!! Absolutely recommend and have found my new sushi spot close 10 min from our house !! Great job

Ingredients tasted extremely fresh and were enjoyable to eat. My avocado roll was freshness with a good size portion. Also, Sushi Koehn offers a variety of options including bento boxes and hot dishes. The restaurant has clean architectural lines with an understated feel. While the restaurant is small and charming, the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. My server was super friendly and welcoming. As an added bonus, I visited during their happy hour. I did not realize it until I saw a lower amount than I was expecting. Overall, very good dining experience. Will definitely return to try more of their menu items.

Upon arriving it was a ghost town now my own fault i should of realized they were closing in 45min for lunch but being solo didn't feel I would be to long n it being empty I should of read the room n left but I heard some voices in the back n utensil clattering so i thought ok im not the only one (Yes my bad) no one greeted me , just standing awkward there was a worker at the bar (didn't work there, he greeted me lol n I was approached by a server eventually asking how many , now this would of been a perfect time for them to tell me they closing , kitchen is closed , no longer taking people n it would of been perfectly fine , I kick myself for just not taking the initiative and saying no thank you I can come back another day but I was so quickly seated didn't have the chance . I didn't feel welcome To the food ,.. looked as mold of some sort in the water glass (quickly fixed no fault on anyone) Beautiful spread of Banchans My fav were the braised potatoes n the Pajeon Soo good ! Now the bulgogi,.. Burt. at least the hot plate it was on Which ultimately make the food taste bitter n Burt as well,.. so as soon as I finished my banchan n rice I paid n left all with in 15 min . unfortunately this wasn't the me day experience I wanted again I take accountability on them almost closing but if ur going to seat me then I at least want to feel welcomed not a bother n food to be good , unfortunately this wasn't the case n I really wanted to love this place since I love Korean food -Prices were good for amount of food -Lots of options to pick from -Parking is plenty they even have no gym parking signs around incase I go at peak times - inside is super cute n open

I picked up a menu and sat down to look it over. I decided on #2 Sho-Yu Ramen or noodles, with pork belly and an egg. The broth was thick and creamy and tasted like the pork belly. A little sweet and not too salty. The noodles needed a little more cooked but the broth was hot and within a few minutes they were fine. I also got the pan fried Gyoza. I actually liked that better, however both were delicious. The counter cashier was nice taking my order and offering a glass of ice for water. The food came out in about 10 minutes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It was set up like a Japanese soba restaurant. It was clean and kind of cool looking. Thanks Ramen Tatsu-ya for providing another option for us locals to eat.

The ramen noodles were tender and really complimented the broth. I would definitely recommend trying this spot when you want to get some ramen.
