I don't know why I haven't eaten here sooner! It's within a mile of my house. We went for family breakfast, due to word of mouth that they have great food. They're known for their walleye song ordered the Blackened Walleye and eggs. The walleye was FANTASTIC, my over easy eggs were done PERFECTLY. My hubs had the huevos rancheros and they were the best I've ever had. My hubby said he's going back for it!! I had a Bloody Mary which in my opinion is the best one in town. My son had the French toast made with a thick sliced cinnamon bread and it wAs delicious! I can't wait to try lunch and dinner!

I'm sitting at home eating my cold dinner because there were two large parties tonight and the kitchen couldn't handle..... Ordered 45 minutes after arriving. Salads 1 hour 30 minutes later... The waitress was so nice to bring our kids a little extra to hold them off.. hubby and kids got their food but kids didn't want to eat now cause they filled up on bread. My food never came till hubby was done eating and I asked it to be packed to go. Really felt bad for the staff but this place should have delt with these large parties different! Give them a minimised menu, not booked two at a time. Have the kitchen staff to accommodate the restaurant capacity or stop seating. They were also out of ceaser dressing, a bunch of potatoes sides. And my veggies were raw. We sat down at 5:10, eating this at home at 7:15.

Best hidden gem in Wisconsin. Stopped in this place while working in Minnesota and looking for a nice lil brunch and Bloody Mary spot. Best Bloody Mary ever and the freaking potatoes could make me fly back out from Colorado if my money is right;) If you are ever in the Twin City it's worth the drive over the state line to Wisconsin. Order anything on the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Plesant atmosphere, if a bit busy! Very good food and service. Our group of seven was served in a reasonable time frame.

There's really no redeeming value to be associated with this place other than it being a cool place to have a beer during the hot summer months. And downright freezing during the winter! Me finding myself tethered to John (a local gadabout) who drags me to a seemingly endless line of beverage intakes of an alcohol nature, and I not being use to the effects of cold and ice. The ice in the parking lot can be treacherous, and the inside is like aging beef in cold storage! Ahhh but that only adds to its charm. Tie that in with the warm hearts sharing the bar and it makes for a memorable experience. But not one that I would frequent on a daily basis. I heard stories about there being caves associated with Nova. Who knows, maybe someday John will get me an invite to explore and I'll come across Injun' Joe just like Tom Sawyer. My luck though it'll be a rabid bat I find. A memory ever associated with the bowels of the dive which is Nova. Honestly speaking, I had fun at Nova, cold and all. We would have stayed longer but alas, a dinner engagement loomed which would provide us the opportunity to indulge once more, and more importantly, thaw out! Quick Tip: After you've had your fill at Nova you can walk down to the corner for ice cream at the Dairy Queen. You'll find that novelty warmer than what you had to endure at Hudsons finest dive.

We've tried a lot on the menu, but we always come back to our favorites: the roasted tomato nachos (don't skip the extra aioli) and the chicken chile penne, both packed with flavor and so satisfying. A trip to San Pedro in the winter makes you feel like you're on vacation and their beautiful patio in the back is perfect for summer weather. There isn't a bad thing on the menu and their mojitos are delish. Plus, it's in WI so you can always get Spotted Cow beer. The restaurant is small overall so make sure to put your name on the waitlist (access on their website) before you get there. Seriously, why don't more restaurants have this option?!?? Their chicken nachos are our favorite with the legendary habanero aioli. Their servers and bartenders are great. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant and paid street parking as well. This is a must try!!!
