You'd have to call but as I've mentioned, it was tough getting in touch. However! The little chat function on the website worked pretty quick and they were responsive at first in helping. Then I got ghosted mid-convo bc I think whoever on the other side thought I was done with my questions/asks. - There is a 5% cancellation fee due to the company's bank? This is regardless of time before trip. There are other reputable car service companies that give full refunds for cancellations as long as it's at least an hour before reserved time. This company is cheaper than the ones I'm thinking of so there is balance there! But can get complicated, if like me, you're booking for business trip which is an expense but hard to expense a cancellation fee on top of a different res elsewhere. But also, I had one experience where there wasn't any issues with pick up other than the driver switch which had us confused momentarily. We got over it fast and was nothing but a hiccup! But again, if you're sensitive about things like that - just something to be aware of so that nobody is surprised.

Tien was our driver both ways. He was friendly, prompt, and a good driver. He texted to confirm our pickups both times, and when we were coming back, he had tracked our flight so he was ready to pick us up at the curb. Getting a rideshare pickup at the airport can be a big hassle, and you usually have to go to a separate area. Then you have to wait for your ride, which your driver may cancel for whatever reason. But with Tri Shuttle, you get picked up in Arrivals as if you're having a friend or family member pick you up. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent (if you use rideshare, you know those qualities can be REALLY hit-or-miss), giving us more peace of mind to enjoy our trip. For our roundtrip airport transport, we confirmed twice over the phone that we needed a rear-facing car seat and a vehicle that could fit five passengers with luggage. The driver showed up without the correct car seat, and the car was too small for our bags. When we brought this up, we were told the driver "forgot." This created a stressful and unsafe ride for our baby. On our return ride, the same driver was over 20 minutes late, joked on the phone that "no one's coming," and when we asked for an ETA, gave no clear answer. When my elderly father expressed frustration, the driver threatened to leave us at the airport. This was deeply unsettling--especially since the driver knew our home address. After the trip, I spoke with Rich (the manager), who acknowledged both incidents were unacceptable and promised a refund and a free ride to make it right. Neither happened. It's not about the money--it's the principle. The broken promises and continued lack of follow-through make me feel we were lied to just to de-escalate the situation. I don't take writing negative reviews lightly, but this experience was unacceptable. This company may have good ratings, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. Obtaining a quote and booking was easy. The cost seemed a bit high, but they did explain it after I inquired. They charged $2300 for 2 trips, arrival and departure to/from the airport and our hotel. Okay. 1 - They say they'll provide the cell number of the driver. They do not. I had to find someone at LAX to call Karmel. Our flight got in at 10:45am; AFTER I called that we got our bags and ready, it took 30+ minutes to get picked up. They said there was traffic. Umm... why on our invoice was the pickup time = flight arrival time? We paid for time that we did not receive because the bus wasn't ready. Waiting in the LA heat outside the airport, staring at every bus, wasn't the best welcome. 2 - The first leg was fine, although the driver played loud 90s hip hop and then took us to the *wrong hotel*. I went all the way into the front desk until I figured it out.. luggage had to be reloaded. Sigh. 3 - I worked with Heather all along the way via phone and email. I will say she was very responsive regardless of time, but I'm just not happy with the answers I received. 4 - For leg 2, the bus arrived early but we had no text (again). At this hotel there is no viewing to the entrance from the lobby. So we were sitting ducks for 30 minutes not knowing the driver was waiting outside. The MAJOR issue - on our trip to the airport, which should have been 30 minutes, the bus broke down THREE TIMES! Each time we had to wait for it to cool off on the side of the road. This caused ample stress - will we make our flight home?? It was already a late evening flight. At the 3rd breakdown, we all started panicking and checking in online via the group site. Finally, they sent another bus to us. And yet again, we had to unload luggage and re-load luggage. This is just exhausting. However, I've never seen my group move faster! Although we made our flight, we should not have been broken down and had to switch busses. Our group did not get dinner at the airport as planned, so students (under 18) were going hungry. Our driver said "This always happens" and seemed very upset. He got off the bus and spoke heatedly with someone on the phone. I don't blame him for the frustration. After all was said and done, I asked Karmel what they could do about the situation. I requested a partial refund. They offered me $100 for the stress it caused my students. One hundred dollars. So no, I cannot recommend Karmel and I will not be using them again.

I found Airport Rides and read the positive reviews, so I requested a quote. Within two minutes of sending my quote request, I received a phone call from a gentleman named Anthony. I provided Anthony with pertinent information, including the date, location, number of passengers, luggage information, and return transportation details. Within 15 seconds, Anthony provided me with a round-trip quote, tax, and tip for his drivers, which was hundreds of dollars less than what other shuttle companies had quoted me for one-way transportation. I had to confirm three times during our phone conversation whether there were any additional fees, since his price was sooo much better than anyone else's. Anthony advised me that he was the owner of his new shuttle company and that, as a new business, excellent customer service and competitive pricing were the keys to its success.
