She could have driven herself, but I was not ready for her to do this yet. LOL! I looked on Yelp and found Dave. Not only did he drive her from Huntington Beach to LA with less than two hours notice, he was so nice about it. He kept me informed and my daughter said he was very friendly and professional. It cost more than rideshare options, but it was so worth it! I highly recommend Dave and would trust him with my kiddo again! We will definitely be back.

I wasn't sure how far in advance I had to book a ride. So I called David 2 weeks prior to my flight date, and he promptly arranged a ride for me to the airport. He was right on time, and he drove a car (I think it was an SUV?) so I could take my 2 huge luggage bags. It was such a comfortable ride to the airport, and he was such a quirky and lively driver to have a great conversation with :) ! When I was about to return back from El Paso to Orange County (since I had visited both San Antonio and El Paso in November), I called David again. Because he already was scheduled to drive another customer to Los Angeles, he coordinated my ride pickup with one of his other drivers, Charles. David texted me Charles' cell # and also a description of the make/model and license number of Charles' car so I would know who to be expecting and which vehicle I should watch out for. Just like David, Charles was such a pleasant driver who was great to have a conversation with :) ! He also gave clear instructions regarding how to meet him once I picked up my luggage from the baggage claim area. DT Rydez gives very reasonable pricing for its ride services :) ! For sure, I will definitely use their services again ! And I would highly recommend anyone who needs a ride to or from the airport, or around town, to ride with them :) ! I'm traveling out of town and didn't want the expense of leaving my car parked at the airport for a week. I called in the morning to schedule a cab at 4:30 that afternoon. The guy on the phone sounded like he was familiar with where to send my cab, almost to the point of making me feel like a dumbass for over explaining where I was so there would be no problems. At 4:35 no cab. I called to see what was going on and the dispatcher told me the guy was probably waiting for me on the opposite side of my building. Then the driver calls me and we determine he's about a mile or so down the road. At 4:41 he pulls up and tells me he's cash only. No prior warning of this during any prior discussion with these guys, not enough cash on hand and no time to get more. Driver says he'll call someone that can take a card and drives away. At 4:47 I call dispatch to find out how long until the next guy shows up and the dispatcher doesn't know anything about it and is surprised by the cash only demand of the original cab driver. I told him to forget it and got in my car and drove while I could still make my flight. Cab companies are going the way of the VHS player, brick phone and fax machine and this is why cab companies will cease to exist in 5 years.

Angel called to let me know he was at the building, then found my exact location a few minutes later. Spotlessly clean sedan, climate control, friendly and professional the whole way. There's a helpful automated screen, too, where you pay at the end. Receipts are sent to your e-mail or by text. Truth: I was quite concerned about how I'd get home tonight.
